Ah- thanks- 15 pounds is a little more reasonable- the ones I saw were 30 odd! Gah! Well, maybe granny could be persuaded....

mustrunmore · 27/10/2007 23:55

Hey, talking of other-halves and work, dh starts his new thing next week; only takes 30min break at lunchtime, so on an early shift he can leave at 3.30now Could potentially be home by 4.45pm!! His lunch is unpaid; he was negotiating for a paid one. like the office staff get, but this is at least better! and, due to no breaks at the wekend, he can leave at 2.30 on a Friday once a month!!

EachPeachPearMum · 27/10/2007 23:55

Night night all!
I really AM going to bed now, so I can get the most of it, as I know dd will want me to get her up in the morning, even though DH is on duty, little monkey she is! She lies in her cot saying 'Mama! No Papa! Mama Up! No Papa' etc until I'm fully awake, and get her out, when she quickly says 'Nappy Papa, no Mama, Papa Nappy....'

She just wants us both up, and running round after with her

mustrunmore · 27/10/2007 23:56

Night x

Jas · 27/10/2007 23:59

G'night.

I'm off too

Macwitch · 28/10/2007 07:01

Morning! Well we were all fed by 5.45 which gives some indication as to what time we got up! Dh has just poked his head round the door so I'll give it another half an hour for my brekkie to digest and I can sneak in an early morning run.

We have an aquadraw. Ds used to love it, ds2 is not that interested, he prefers to scribble on the easel with the crayons. The problem with the aquadraws is they stink after a while, you know that damp smell when things have dried out too slowly.

Right, better go and get my running gear on....

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/10/2007 08:46

Morning .
We were up at 7, but with an hour's disturbance during the night for no apparent reason!

DD got an aquadraw for her first birthday. Water might dry out of it, but coffee doesn't you know . Think we will be gettting it down to play with again soon with the weather turning all wintry.

What is so special about wheelybugs?

at the building works Jas, but I shouldn't be surprised at anything builders do at the moment!

Yay for short lunches mrm. Will it give you more time to run/MN?!

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire · 28/10/2007 08:52

Hello csws. Ye, hopfully if he gets in a bit earlier, I could run while he sits with the boys eating their tea.

Why is game of the week 'put as many fruit items as you can in the microwave and try to force them down the toaster slots'? Tedium.

Wheelybugs are highly overpriced, but they are really good at wheeling! Esp on the top floor of Mothercare World

What is it with your dd and coffee??!!

Jas · 28/10/2007 09:35

DP got up and let me have a lie in
Shame he didn't feed the dc

KelBelle · 28/10/2007 12:21

HELLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Long time no post but things going well here with my new fella!!! 2 months down the line and we are getting on fab. Divorce is going through nicely, should get decree nici in about 4 weeks and he has agreed to 60/40 split with the house when it gets sold at a later date.

DS is talking so much now, every day he is picking up new words and is really funny too.

I saw that Dame is pregnant - congrats!!!! Is there any other pregnancies to report?

Not long til Christmas now, what is everyone getting their DC? I am thinking of a kitchen for DS as he likes the one at playgroup.

No other news to report from me, hope you are all ok and I will try to catch up more often!!!

Frizombie · 28/10/2007 14:24

Hi Kel, glad to hear things are going well with the fella and the divorce

Still not thinking about Xmas here, not even got a clue what to get dd1 for her birthday on Thursday was going for roller skates, but my mum rang up and said she'd gotten her some Dora ones that she'd seen, along with another 3 presents (spoiling her first granddaughter )

Have been having fun today though. We (have ss too) did pumpkins, followed by soup from the innards, then we've made candy apples (desert at lunch) its amazing how black dd2 managed to get, after eating her's, all the way downher front to her tummy (orange and black sugar strands) and then we've made gummy sweets as well! (supercook) Which I shall be inserting, for maximum whappy effect, when we walk upto the fair in a bit Xmas Smile
Hope your all having great days!

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire · 28/10/2007 19:59

Thought she was getting Race to the Mall or some such?

Just seen a link to a great Cars offer in Argos, that the boys could've split between them. But we've done our shopping!

Where are you all tonight?

Jas · 28/10/2007 20:01

Hanging around waiting for the dds to go to bed.

Hello Kel

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/10/2007 20:06

Just hear now. Waiting for dd to stop shouting and go to sleep.

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire · 28/10/2007 20:07

Hello

I just sold my stairgate But I think I might needto put the other one on the kitchen. If ds2 puts anything else into microwave/toaster/kettle/tries to ignite hob, I'm going to sell him. But, hey, he can finlly do a 4 piece jigsaw

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/10/2007 20:07

Or even 'just here now' .

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire · 28/10/2007 20:07

hear ??

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire · 28/10/2007 20:07
Grin
CantSleepWontSleep · 28/10/2007 20:09

Was obviously thinking about how much noise I was hearing from dd.

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire · 28/10/2007 20:10

Er, ds2 had no nap today. Oh dear. I hope this is clocks, not the start of a slippery slope to full days awake

Jas · 28/10/2007 20:10

Why didn't you say you wee selling your stairgate? I'd have had it! I still need one for the kids bedroom doorway. I was planning on moving one of the others upstairs, but I just can't cope without them. Boy is such a climber.
Also has no cars left as he has posted them all down the back of the tv. He will get them back next week when that room is rewired.

Jas · 28/10/2007 20:11

DS has had no nap a couple of times, ad slept longe that night. TBH I prefer a 2 hr daytime nap and etting up at 6.

EachPeachPearMum · 28/10/2007 20:15

Hi everyone.

Friz- whats 'ss'?

Macwitch · 28/10/2007 20:18

Hi all

Stepson

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/10/2007 20:20

step son

I get up at 6 with only an hour daytime nap!

dd went 3 days in a row ages ago with no nap - you might remember my alarm at the time, but she's still having one nearly every day now.
