No, no, no. We have a flexible mortgage, and we owe £x, which we could pay off in a year or two. But we want to extend if we can, and that will cost £y, so we will borrow £y out of our mortgage account, and then owe £x+y. x isn't the same amount as y!

Mountfitchet is about 45 mins from here, but in totally the opposite direction from coming to you! Their website claims it's a train ride from London - is it not?

For Warwick I'd assumed that I'd come and get you first you muppet!

Friz - can't find an email address on your website. Do you not want one there?

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/10/2007 21:04

Hi Mamamoor - didn't you post that once before and then disappear?! Are you back to stay?

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 21:06

hello mamamoor, newcomers always welcome
We used to be mortgage free.....then I didn't go back to work after maternity leave with dd1 and dh thought a re mortgage was a good idea for a few bits we needed for our business

Jas · 21/10/2007 21:13

Hello Mamamoor. Not crashing, but we do chat alot. Anything else you want to share[nosey]

at mortgage free, although like mrm, mine is less than most of my friends. We couldn't afford to buy a one bed flat now

Yes London Zoo is very busy in holidays. I'd chose a day when mrms nursery is on an inset day (if they have them) and go then myself. Driving to London zoo really is mad!

Sarah _ I absolutely agree with you re schools. I'm not sure it is still true of senior school though (My most logical option for dd1 is awful)
Also not a Londoner...I grew up in Gamlingay Have lived around N London on and off for years and we are now nicely placed on the M25.

Frizbe - I also wanted to mention the apostrophe Hanging things will look good in the windows too, but overall it looks good

CSWS - No season ticket for PWP. I'm using the last of my Tesco vouchers to go tomorrow (4 adults and 13 children). Maybe we could just come to you and play after lunch on Friday, as it sounds like whatever you do with mrm is going to be an expadition.

FlameBat · 21/10/2007 21:21

Ello MM

I'm mortgage free

Actively potty training on account of the fact that you can't put any bloody nappy on him without kicking/screaming/removing.

I'm seeing how my sanity goes, and then may have to call it quits and buy disposable pull ups Which I hate the smell of, the cost of, and just everything about.

You are right csws, Mamamoor posted in July.....is your memory that good or do you search new posters?

Jas · 21/10/2007 21:23

No wonder you are stressed if you are potty training, Flame. It is my idea of hell with a 2/3 year old. DS hasn't a clue.

FlameBat · 21/10/2007 21:24

Oh, to top off my day - my friend brought round my last 3 weeks wine payment... and it is hideous

OP posts:
Jas · 21/10/2007 21:31

Can you keep it and give it to people for Christmas?

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 21:33

you have wine on credit Flame, now there's an idea I've not explored yet, ponders who'd do wine on credit round here, or is it another business opportunity for me?

Thanks for the feedback Jas the apostrophe is now corrected ladies and webmaster he doeth apologise.

dd2 has spots on her tummy.....it must be from her rubella jab on Saturday...do you think nursery will take her ok tomorrow?

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 21:33

boo for potty training Flame, I'm dreading it, if dd2 is owt like dd1.....mind you once its over I stand a chance of a new carpet for the living room

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/10/2007 21:34

My memory is that good!

If it's red, turn it into mulled wine!

at 13 children! Sounds like fun .
Are you okay with just coming here on Friday? Will have a think about other stuff in the meantime.

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/10/2007 21:36

Friz - in case you missed my question earlier, is there intentionally no email address on the website? As a customer I always like one.

Jas · 21/10/2007 21:36

I don't mind if you don't csws The dds will play and it will be an easy afternoon out.

at the memory.

I will definitely need a new carpet after potty training if ds is half as bad as the dds were.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/10/2007 21:52

Frizbe- well my Dh's first comment was 'Oh look, its an ambigram!' and he had a huge smile on his face!
I really like the etching, though I hadn't noticed its properties...

Flame- what on earth is a wine payment? Sorry you're feeling like this, its pretty crappy . my af is still pretty random, which is blardy annoying considering I was on the pill for 10 yrs before ttc, and started as regular as clockwork...down to 2 hour slot.

Sarah, the foundatiopn profile thing is an odd one. If its a small school (1 form intake) then there's a chance that the assessments are perhaps not being carried out consistently, though I would have expected the LEA to have scrutinised the staff considering it has lowest intake.
Of course, you should look at its value-added score too. Is there a high number of EAL children? Or is there something in the water? LOL

mrm/csws west mids safari park is ace for l.o.s but I'm happy that its only 30 mins away. 2 hours each way does not make a fun day out in this family! Last time Dd was more excited about having a picnic with Papa in the back of the car than the animals tbh, though it was tipping it down.

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 21:53

really CSWS your memory is scarey, I can barely remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, someone buy me a nintendo ds lite for xmas quick!

no mail addy at present, as we don't have broadband sorted in the shop, (it the wireless problem still isn't sorted out, but will be hopefully tomorrow) once we do, it'll be going on there, in the meantime if people are shopping off ebay, when I get around to listing tomorrow onwards no doubt, then people can do their thing via there IUSWIM

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 21:54

EPPM at your dh spotting that 1st!

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 21:56

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/29/410160 One for CSWS!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/10/2007 21:58

I might have a good memory, but I still had to google 'ambigram' (and then tip my laptop upside down to check)!!

Jas · 21/10/2007 21:59

Me too

EachPeachPearMum · 21/10/2007 22:05

Potty Training! I thought you sold nappies? Shouldn't he be testing the merchandise?

Frizbe- how are you hosting the site? It runs slowly on my machine....

EachPeachPearMum · 21/10/2007 22:06

Frizbe- do you mean 1st one anywhere, or just on here? (Sorry- Dh is so competitive these days LOL)

EachPeachPearMum · 21/10/2007 22:08

Aww, he's all happy now!

Frizombie · 21/10/2007 22:11

1st one on here
lol at you lot with your upside down laptops
It's with supanames at the mo, but when we get it upgraded to cart site in a bit, we'll be changing the hosting, mind you can't say as I'd noticed it being slow in particular?
Off to bed now me thinks, catch ya'all tomorrow.

FlameBat · 21/10/2007 22:13

I hadn't noticed the ambigram (but didn't need to google what one was )

I have my friend's DD one afternoon a week, she wanted to pay me and wouldn't take no for an answer (it is someone to amuse DD, really not work!!) - so we agreed she would buy me wine. But she keeps buying rose and I haven't the heart to say I'm not keen, usually it just isn't my preferred, but this is very much a dislike

Will give the other 2 bottles away.

Believe me EPPP - I really wouldn't be potty training if I had my way I've tried everything I suggest to people who email me asking for advice with this, and it appears that my advice is cr*p. I can't even stick him in the training pants things that I sell because he is far too small still

Did you know - if you have little pots of milk in a bag and bash them against something, you end up with a soggy bag and bits?
