right, time for a long post as I've been head in the clouds for a while now

Joe is still refusing to roll over, even though I know he can
He can however sit up completely unaided and only topples over if he reaches for something too far away!
He tries desperately to crawl when lying on me but won't do it when on the floor. Awkward child
He is being rather awkward in the milk department too. He has decided that bottles are of no interest to him at all, and will only accept breastfeeds now. Not too much of a problem except for Monday and Friday when I work 9-2, but he seems to be coping.
We have been doing pureed food but have started to introduce finger food too. Today he had a jam sandwich , and then roast dinner of chicken, potato, yorkshire pud, and veg. I gave him some for him to eat himself and he did seem to get a fair bit eaten, then topped him up with some more that I'd mushed
Matthew thinks it's great and points out to me every time Joe starts to gag on the food he's just shoved as far down his throat as he can (just incase I hadn't noticed it from where I'm sitting, closer to Joe than he is )

Justin is being a PITA, no money yet this month, him and the gf have moved into a new house and had to buy a fridge. Pointed out to him that I did without one for a month last year when mine stopped working, until my godmother kindly bought me one. The new mobile phone that kept ringing went down really well too . Joe was given a playring like Katy was talking about which was kept at the in-laws for when we visted. As they are no longer speaking to me I asked if Joe could have it here to use. Of course, no problem, I'll drop it round. Several months later and it's still not here. So Skott bought me a new one at the car boot sale this morning.

Matthew seems to be struggling with some letter sounds. Sue becomes Zoo and Saw becomes Zaw. Is this normal or do I need to start paying more attention?

Work is really good, went on a night out with them on Thursday and really enjoyed myself.

Still not much on the man front, but actually quite happy without one at the moment, I can always borrow Pesha's dp if I need to remind myself why I like living without one, he'll readily argue with me

well, bet this is a really long post but decided it was catch up time

oh, and Elkie, have added your nickname to the list so you should be able to see the photos now

shit, that is long

highchairs - We had one of the inserts that seemed to stop the falling sideways, only thing with mine is the screw covers that hold the tray on are magnets for grime underneath them

sterilising - what's that? haven't sterilsed anything, it all goes in the dishwasher. Water comes straight from tap here too.

Joe has jars but am trying to be a 'good mummy' and cook proper food sometimes too. I think he's getting a bit bored of spag bol for tea every night now

Enjoyed your monologue Ellie, not often that we get treated to one of those.

Off to bed, but not after one last cup of tea, night!

Right. Off now. L'hopital tomorrow with DS1 to have his ears checked out. (What's that sorry?).

BTW don't worry about M. One of our neighbours sons calls another neighbours son Zak, and he is called Jack. He is 5.

Night Pesha. (Night Pumpkin).

Hello everyone,

Leaky pleased Eva had a better day today. Praying it continues.

Eddas am also loving your down to earth attitude!

I have a mamas and papas highchair - wouldn't recommend it, it gets so dirty, can't afford a new one, so think we'll be using the booster seat thing before long.

Can't remember much else.

Ellie - Don't worry about M's speech it's a pretty normal stage for them to go through, Jake says some pretty similar things eg Happle, Haeroplane etc

Not sure how much I'll be on between now and Wednesday. Have had a few melt downs this weekend Too much to do and not enough time to do it in (packing for going to Spain on Wednesday being the main thing)

Also feeling like I'm the only one capable of looking after Izzy. Left her with DH at 4:30 today (she was asleep in the car) went in other car (yes we have two) to get J from party, was chatting with other mums when my mobile rings DH says 'sooner rather than later Izzy wants you' Izzy screaming in the background. This is at 5:15. I rush home and she's screaming so I say...maybe she needs her nappy changed DH says yes I thought she might WTF didn't you do it then instead of ringing me Prick

Night Pinions

Nathan talks all sorts of nonsense too!!

Forgot to say Ellie i loved M's comment about Vigour!

Nathan on Friday morning ran up to me all excited and said 'mummy I can make steam come out my face - huhhhhh' (it was a cold morning!) So i told him he must be Thomas The Tank Engine so got him and M running up the hill to school ' huh huh huh huh huh huh huh' all the way!

Until they bith hyperventilated and collapsed!

It did backfire a little bit though when M tried to be clever and stopped dead and said she'd run out of coal Theres always one isn't there!

X post Ange. and at your DH.

I think DP is actually loving that I'm bfing D on demand still cos it means anytime D whinges or groans he can hand him over to me and say he think he needs feeding Or he'll sit there and say to D 'oh are you a hungry boy, do you need feeding?' with a pointed look in my direction Although now he's having some solids he'll have the joy of joining in!

Yes it's funny isn't it that whenever they cry they are hungry...couldn't possibly be anything else

I found myself telling her the other day not to be smart and then remembering people saying exactly that to me as a child and thinking what a stupid thing it was to say. In fact i remember a supply teacher called Mrs Soper saying it to me when I was about 8/9 and me saying to her well I thought thats why we came to school to learn to be smart She is exactly like I was as a child, its pay back big time!

I'm fucking dreading not looking forward to her being a teenager
