Why does bathtime have to be such a fight??
Better feed then try to have a shower myself
Anyone doing anything exciting today?

CaptainDippy · 12/10/2007 10:35

Morning - she is back! Younger two down for sleeps and I am enjoying the peace and quite for now!

I still have tears running down my face from seeing that pic of precious little Eva, Leaky - She continues to be in my thoughts and prayers. It is so awful they are having to wait so long to find out results etc .... Thank you for keeping us updated. shei s so special. Maveta your nephew sounds wonderful.

Weaning going ok here - P is hungry!! Eating lots of FF and loving mashed potato, which is halarious cos my other two won't eat potatoes in any form!!

How is everyone today? I went to the dr yesterday and he pescribed me some Dimazipam (sp!!?) as my panics and axious episodes have been ridiculous of late. Never been pescribed drugs for it before

nappynuttynormabutty · 12/10/2007 10:40

Morning Dippy . Sorry you feel about the drugs for your anxiety. I know what it's like (I had tablets when I was in my last job for panic attacks). If you want someone to talk to about it feel free to email me x

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 10:40

Hi Dippy, glad you're back online!
Understand why you might be a bit about the drugs, but do you think they might help?

CaptainDippy · 12/10/2007 11:16

Thanks NNNB and SPB I realyl hope they do help, I've just taken one so let's see ......

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 11:45

winge alert
why does he scream when i'm in the shower???????? Tried his door bouncer today which normally keeps him amused for half an hour or so while i get tea ready. 5 minutes in it and he was howling. Would ignore him in bouncy chair etc but not in his bouncer so had to get out and get him out while dripping wet
aaargh

CaptainDippy · 12/10/2007 11:59

Tired? Just his whingy time of day?? {{{{{hugs}}}}

elkiedee · 12/10/2007 12:13

CD, hope the medication does help you.

Nutty, yes, D is becoming a giant. I'm still having to talk to myself about putting away his 3-6 month clothes (and he's only just over 5 months) - they really are looking small on him, and I've got lots of lovely 6-9 months stuff, but still, sniff...

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 12:20

I'm in the process of doing that at the moment elkie - the way I see it is he will get lot more wear out of his 6-9 stuff
I can't see pics on facebook as I can't log in
Thanks Dippy, but he does it whether I shower at 8am or 11am

NorthernLurker · 12/10/2007 12:21

CD - last thing I want to do is add to your worries - but is diazepam definately ok with breastfeeding? Please tell me to go and mind my own business but I know doctors etc can and do make errors when prescribing.
Glad to hear you have two asleep anyway - it's time for B to sleep but someone is coming to look at the house in a mo so she'll just have to sleep walking around with me

runnyhabbit · 12/10/2007 12:46

Afternoon ladies

I am home alone today . My mum (bless her) has taken the boys out to the seaside - on her own. J was so excited that his brother was going with them. Mum says she's practising ready for when I go back to work, lol. (I think she just wants to play proud nana )

sol hope you don't mind but I've emailed you about work x

leaky thinking of you all x

dippy glad the dr is being helpful

Saw the hv last week, and did another edinburgh test which shows that my emotions are back to normal (whatever normal is, lol) We haven't arranged any more appointments, and she did tell me that there may be times when the PND rears its head (like when I'm trying to sort out returning to work) but I can cope with it better.

As for weaning - W loves petit filous I have steamed and frozen a load of veg. So far there's nothing he doesn't like, although I have to time it just right. Even if he's just a little bit tired, he'll start crying as soon as he's put in the highchair.

Anyway.....am going to try and make the most of my "day off" but have to finish seating plan for aunties wedding next week (we know where everyone is sitting, I'm just making it look nice!)

take care all

x

Here's a "public link" to pics on facebook smb. I didn't know you were on there (I've looked for you before). How come you can't log in? Otherwise I'll try and put them on flickr, as I'm not sure my mum can look at them this way either - I've tried to persuade her facebook is a valuable source of family gossip/pics etc as we have a rather bizarrely extended family, but she won't set up an account, though I might try and persuade her and do the practical bit at xmas.

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 12:54

no, I'm not, that's the problem
Trying to avoid it, MN and MSN keep me glued to the computer much more than is healthy.
Thanks for the new link, off to have a look now

OMG I hope it doesn't belong to you

oooggs · 12/10/2007 12:59

hi all, well we survived the shopping (just) and leaving for twins club in 5 mins - also all feed.

Dippy - hope you start feeling better/more in control soon

glad Erin was better last night nutty

lucky runny - no kids

had to buy ds1 new tops at the supermarket as over the summer his arms have grown and all the winter ones are too short. Was going to look on for sale board but there is just too much to wade through

katy - he doesn't like the sound of the shower??? I used to have a problem with the hoover and hairdryer with ds1 - screaming hysterics

got to dash - back later I'm sure

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 12:59

He / she does
I'm sorry, that was really rude
Please forgive me!

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 13:00

In my defence that first photo was not flattering, the next few are better
Shall I stop digging?

oooggs · 12/10/2007 13:00

elkie - will look at pics on my return - its all go go go...........

mammyjo · 12/10/2007 13:04

Elkie, D is scrummy! Glad to hear you are all back safely and had a good time.

SMB, lol at pooey vest!! Really dont know what to suggest about him yelling when you try and shower. I know what its like though as F does it to me regularly. Cant have a relaxing shower with her screeching, and it does my head in!

CD, glad you are getting help from the gp. Try not to worry too much about taking meds, if they help then it will be worth it Hope you feel brighter soon

Runny, have a lovely, quiet, calm and relaxed day! Am !

Have had F weighed today and she is 16lbs exactly at 28 weeks. She is just above the 25th centile. She is barely in her 3-6 month clothes, never mind 6-9!! She is still wearing a lot of her 0-3 stuff!!

mammyjo · 12/10/2007 13:05

X posted big time then! SMB def stop digging

Hi oooggs

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 13:23

mammyjo, you might have a point, he hates the hoover too. Weird, as a couple of months ago he used to cry once the shower / hoover stopped - the noise quietened him.
Do I have to start having baths??

SharpMolarBear · 12/10/2007 14:03

Just in case you were wondering about the message, I made a flippant comment about cats below, but got it deleted because I thought it might be offensive
