PCM - Sorry no baby but just think it won't be long now!! Keep your chin up.

I think we've cracked getting Aly to sleep. We've started swaddling her and last night she slept from 1-5 then fed then till 9:30am!! It was lovely.... although I am still knackered!!

Nat - Won't be long till you can TTC. Dya know i'm seriously thinking of joining you already what's wrong with me?

Oh jen lauren loved being swaddled there is a site called kiddieopotomus and they do swaddle blankets they are fab I had a yellow one with a teddy on xxx

My great auntie had 4 blankets crotched (sp) for her and she seems to love them. There's another one on the way (a pink one now they know she's a SHE)

hi all - I have a little bit of news....no, stil no baby, but my induction has been brought forward to Saturday!!!
I am delighted!! It isnt for any clinical reason, but the midwife from the labour ward phoned this afternoon, and apparently the ward is having some "essential maintenance" done next week so the ladies were booked for induction have had their dates brought forward.
How scary is that!!! Im excited and very pleased not to have to wait till tuesday, but at same time still a bit gutted my body didnt start itself off! Really didnt want to start off with the drugs, even if i have to end up with them!
Will post more tomorrow, just off to bed now. xxx

PCM - i'm glad your happy about your induction being brought forward. Hope it all goes to plan for you and the LO makes an appearance soon. DON'T FORGET TO MAKE YOUR DP TELL US WHAT HAPPENED ASAP!!

PCM, isn't it exciting?!!! And there is still a change you will go into labour before then, don't look at it as your body failing in any sort of way, your baby just likes being in it's safe warm place

Jen, come on here with me, we have a right giggle And we may be able to persuede you properly that TTC'ing soon is a good idea!!

Well it is finally the last day of January, whoooooooooooooo farking hoooooooooooooooooooooo I have never been so happy to see the end of the month before. Today is the last day I am going to be sad over the MC, and tomorrow will be the first day I really look forward to TTC'ing. I have found myself measuring everything in before and after the MC, and I don't want to keep on like that. So as I said, today is the last day, tomorrow is a whole new month, and I am going to have a good one this time!!

I don't think I could cope with 2 THAT close together! lol.

We bought Aly a bouncer today and she loves it! So cute.

PCM thats Brilliant! Now follow my advice and make lots of plans for the day before... you never know!

NJ I am sorry about the MC but looking to the future is really great ( sorry I think that sounds a bit naff but YKWIM)

Pcm hope all goes well for saturday please try and post asap. You so deserve this baby and even though I dont know you in rl im sure you and mr pussycat will make fantastic parents. Tresure every moment when your baby is born it goes so quickly and remember you are its mummy and you will know exactly what baby wants.So what if you get induced so what if you cant breastfeed not saying these this will happen but dont feel guilty about it just love and treasure that bundle. Im at work on saturday but I shall be thinking about you. I was induced with lauren as iv said previous and tbh they just leave you and let you get on with things so plenty of magazines, books ect as it could be a long process but try and enjoy it. I am extremely sad and would give anything to have that one moment when they put your baby on your chest. GOOD LUCK XX

Well this swaddling thing works a treat. She slept from 10pm till 10:30am with a quick feed at 4 and 7:30!!! It was sooo nice to have such a long sleep. Can't believe i'm still tired though. What's going on?

Got Aaliyah registered today, just need to do the child tax now! [sigh] Does anyone know what the max earning is for family tax? Also do I get it from jobcentre?

Jen, I don't know much about these tax things, DH has always dealt with them, but I think if you know which ones you are entitled to you can apply on line, I think you can also find out on line what you are entitled to.

I have never done the swaddling thing, never really had to they have both been on the whole fairly good sleepers (as long as they were in bed with us!) but whatever works for you is great!

Well DH has decided yes deffo going ahead with TTC'ing We're gonna have a baby I am so excited Can ya tell?

Wonder how PCM has got on? I really hope the induction worked quickly for her and she is now on her way home with her little baby. She has waited so long for it.
