pussycatmomma · 10/10/2007 09:34

Hiya everyone.
Good luck at hosp today Trace, you never know, today might be the day they come up with some answers sweetie.
Wuzz, sorry I missed your mn search for me! My very own thread! and i missed the damn thing ! I had a big long break from mn for a while, but do pop in now and again these days. The Jan 08 antenatal club is so quick moving! The ladies on there on lovely but as I dont post much I dont really know them all that well. Not like us lot in the old days!!
My major news is relating to my sister. She is pregnant!!! She got her bfp on Monday this week, so the news is still sinking in for us. It was her 6th round of IVF. Some of you might remember that she had lost both her tubes and would have been unable to concieve at all naturally. She had so many failed attempts with the ivf after her ectopic and subsequent miscarriage, but the drs found out she had raised levels of "natural killer cells" which meant that the embryo was not implanting properly each time and therefore she was never getting preg. Shes been on a right old cocktail of drugs this time, and she will have to continue to have drugs throughout this preg to help the baby to stick around. The baby is due in June on my Birthday!! So my parents are going to have a busy year next year what with me having my baby in January. I know some of you mentioned it, but no, we dont know the flavour of the baby!! Will be more than happy with either .
We've started thinking of names, and if its a boy we quite like Oscar with middle names William Noah. If its a girl I quite like Isabelle or Alice, but then Poppy and Amelie are also in the running!! its so difficult!
Glad all your babies are doing ok.......cant believe it took me so long, but hey.......I got there eventually!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a good day y'all!
xxxxxxxxxx

Jenswish · 10/10/2007 09:39

Everything will be fine, i'll just be glad to get the reassurance is all.

Good luck at hospital today.

pussycatmomma · 10/10/2007 09:43

jenswish i know what you mean. I had a fall a bit back, and midwife came and did a home visit, it was such a relief to hear little heartbeat chugging away on the doppler thing (or whatever its called. ) Im sure all will be fine today. xx do you know if you are having boy or girl?

Jenswish · 10/10/2007 09:55

Nope, its going to be a surprise and I'm so happy for it to be!! although DP wasn't. hehehe

wuzzlefraggle · 10/10/2007 13:23

Pussycat - Congrats for your sister!! I bet she is over the moon. I remember you telling us all about this at the start of the threads.

Trace and Jen, how did the hospitals go?

peachygirl · 10/10/2007 20:12

Pussycat that's great news about your sister. Fingers crossed that everything goes well for her I did wonder how she was coping with your pregnancy.
Hope the check up went well and I hope it went well with the hospital with chloe

Coriander73 · 11/10/2007 08:50

OMG PCM..well well well!!!! About time missus! Lovely to hear all is well with you & major congrats to our sister too! Your parents wont know what to do with themselves next year!! BTW, I wanted Oscar for a boy! In the end we chose Jack as DH wanted Max & we couldn't agree at all - am glad though as he really does suit his name (I suppose you can say that about every baby but he does look more a Jack than an Oscar!)

Trace, how did the christening go? When / what did Rubles have? Am so pleased for her! Wuzz..I can't believe Anna is nearly one?!!! Jenswish, goodluck with the rest of the pg

God I'm broody...!!!

trace2 · 11/10/2007 09:08

Well midwives was fine yesterday. I've been told I'm bigger than average (31 inches over the belly) if I continue to grow bigger they'll send me for a scan at 36 to see if they need to induce me early etc.

I've gotta go hospital on monday for my anty D. I thought I didn't have to have another!! Poooh!

Piffle · 11/10/2007 14:53

peachygirl · 11/10/2007 17:05

Hi Piffle,
Trace this thread is reuniting us all! I hope you get some answers about Chloe soon but they may find it hard to diagnose hem as she is so young still.

We have had a bad cold this week and DD is very snuffly She has just had to put up with watching me sorting out a display in school and she is now snoring away.. must have been very tiring

trace2 · 11/10/2007 19:03

peachygirl · 11/10/2007 20:02

Oh no trace if it's not one thing it's another - that makes me sound like my mother

Coriander73 · 12/10/2007 10:21

OK...so how can I convince DH to let me have number three??!! Had another conversation about it last night & he told me to forget it, that I knew he only wanted 2 when we got married etc that it's not going to happen etc etc....I didn't think I wanted anymore either but truth is I'd love another....just don't see how it's going to happen....
