We just went for a 2 hour walk to Tescos and back! Was tireing but really nice.

Bought Aly some more sleepsuits (really should stop spoiling her) and a welsh dragon!! [wink} Dp will love that

She's now sitting in her bouncer, hickuping and deciding whether to scream at me.

Had a rough night last night. Went to bed when DP went to work at 10pm (without dinner as hadn't had time to cook) and was still awake at 2am with her. I tried everything, she was feeding constantly. I tried leaving her yelling but could only take 15mins of it before I gave in and tried cuddling her again.

Anyways all forgotten now, apart from the fact i'm knackered.

How often is she feeding in the day time?

And you take it easy, bloody two hour walks after having had major surgery, I hope DP tells you off!!

I reckon discharge is usually 5pm if she had the baby at the same hospital I did.

She's 19 days old today. Yesterday she didn't really eat much in the day - slept alot so I think she was catching up on that.

Someone told me once that me eating grapes is bad for baby. Is this true and if so, can I eat them in moderation cos I forgot and bought some today and really want to eat them now!

Yep, sounds like it Jen, George was quite a lazy feeder really, he would happily go 4+ hours in the day without being bothered, but I always made sure I offered every 2 hours if he wanted it, he'd have some, if not I'd leave him for another hour and offer again, he normally would take it then. Not sure it ever really cut down the night feeds, but it did help with the nightly cluster feeding.

No how you feel about the knackered thing, I've been up since 4 o'clock this morning, and not been in bed before 1am since Friday night.

Did I tell you all DH has given the absolutely definately okey-dokey to TTC'ing in May? He was a bit wobbly before he he finally said yes for sure on Saturday I had a lot of thanking him on Saturday and last night (hence the late nights) and now I am achy-breaky everywhere, not used to such vigourous.... erm sexercise

Deffo starting in May, just got to some how work out my cycle between now and then. I am on CD30 today, no sign of AF, but I don't know what to expect after the MC. I can't even remember what my 'natural' cycle is, I have either been on the Depo injection, the pill, pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 8 years. I did have some pre-AF niggly pains over the weekend, but they have gone.

Are you gonna let your natural cycle start up and then try and "land in the right place" from May or you gonna keep on contraception till May?

No we will stick with the condoms till my AF in may and try from there. But I want to use the time between now and then to get some idea of how my cycle will be for when we are TTC'ing.

No BF is not a contraception, most people don't get an AF till they finish BF, but it can come back well before you finish BF. I got mine back when he dropped the day time feeds, I was still feeding him at night. You can OV at any time, you probably wouldn't you have OV'ed unless you are looking out for it, and so therefore, could get pg.

You can only take the mini-pill whilst BF as well.

probably wouldn't know you've OV'ed..... can you tell DS1 is being a complete PITA?!!

Oh dear this is going to make contraception a problem then.

DP can't wear condoms (they itch him) and if I can only take the mini-pill we're buggard cos they don't work for us. I can't do the coil cos I don't like the way they work.

Have to speak to doc man about that then. hmmm.

You can get Latex free condoms (I think that is what makes them itch)

I wonder if thats what upset DP then, might have to try that and see if it is. He thinks its cos theyre too tight at the top (he wishes )
