Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 08:22

Ahem, wheres our update?!!!!!

Hope something got going last night

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 09:04

Nope nothing here but I'm sure baby has dropped as feels VERY low now.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:14

I can't really remember DS1 engaging, but DS2 I do. It almost felt like the on-set of labour, I got shaky legs, felt sick, had a bit of a dicky tummy (IYKWIM?!!) felt like I couldn't close my legs properly (I could phsically close them, just felt like I had to try to hard to close them, and when I relaxed them they would naturally sit slightly apart, LOL can't believe I have just gone into detail about not being to close my legs LOL) Also the contractions I had been having due to the irritable uterus got a lot worse.

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 09:19

I've def got the legs apart thing. lol. but i've had that for a while so maybe it's no different.

What you got planned for today then missus?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:33

Nothing yet, have just sent DS1 up stairs to tidy his room (he turned it upside down last night, and then didn't have time to clear it up because it was late) have told him we're not going out the front door till it's done, even if that means he misses school on Monday LOL

Other than that it will just be another long day sat try to forget all that's gone on

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 09:35

Did you go to the doctors?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:36

Nope, didn't see much point, everything has come away (was pretty obvious which bit was which IYKWIM?) I couldn't bare to see a BFP now knowing there is nothing there.

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 09:39

It might be best just to get it checked out. Can the doc not do the test without you seeing it?

I understand if you don't want to though. Why don't you and DS go to park?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:48

I don't see the point in them doing the test, I still have the sodding bump, so it would show positive.

I think the bleeding has more or less stopped, so just waiting for the bump to go down and then I can really start to move on properly.

Was talking to DH about TTC again, he says we need to leave it a couple of months, to make sure we're not just rushing into it, but at that point he will think seriously about another So come March I am going to have to get my most persuevsive (sp????) head on

Can't go to the park, firstly it is tipping it down and I'm not going out unless the house burns down, and secondly, DS1 is clearing his room up, gonna take all day the bloody state he left it in.

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 09:50

Lol, bless you poor DS. You strict lady

If you manage to persuade DP to TTC again you KNOW you have to keep us up to date so we can all do the is she/isn't she thing!!

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 09:54

Would I do anything else TBH I know already I am gonna be a nervous wreck after this, after DS2 I always wanted another, but now I kind of feel like I have to have another. Silly really.

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 09:58

Well its entirely up to you and your DH. Don't feel pressured into anything.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:03

LOL he is going to be pressured into it

No, if he decides no absolutely not, I don't really know what the answer is, but if there is anything I can do to convince him I will do it.

We have worked out that if we sell up up here and move back down south near my mums, we can get a big 4 bed dettached, we can use some money we've made on this house to buy a car big enough for 2 carseats and a booster, and because we won't be paying for the car each month (the one we have now I mean) we will actually have more 'spare' cash each month, so it would all work out fine that way.

It is just getting a job that pays as much as he is on now, which is a bit of a tall order, and is the only stumbling block. There is a small chance of being able to move his job down south, but it will depend exactly when our house sells and what not.

If we decide to do the baby thing again, Spain is out of the window.

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:06

I'm pretty sure I know which one you'd prefer

Seriously though, you sound as though you have things worked out!

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:12

Well yeah, Spain would obviously come first but...... I'm kidding!!

I would hate to be in a foreign country having a baby! Would scare the life out of me, and if we have a baby, we can't really wait for him/her to be born and then get past much of the baby stage and then go because DS1 will be too old to move countries/language by then.

Bbay wins it hands down for me, I can put up with the rain till they are all grown up and we retire

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:12

A baby wins it as well.......

My bloody spelling has gone out of the window this week, and the week before, and the week before that... lol

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:13

It'll be nicer to retire in Spain than live in it I think (personally)

So come March it'll be eyes on tests again. lol

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:17

That's the plan - well my plan!

Got loads of excitment, loads of nerves and loads of 'omg what if he decides he really doesn't want another?' going on, I really don't know how I will handle it, it's like I said I feel like I have to have another now, and it is the only thing (apart from the boys) that has kept me going this week.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:20

Anyway, here you are bursting at the seams, and there I am going on and on about me, tut.

Are you nipple tweaking now? (feels very pervy right now lol)

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:20

oops Obviously the pervines got me all excited lol

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:22

You pervy lady

Nope i'm just sitting on my ball, had a raspberry leaf tablet this morning with a cup of tea. I'm waiting for the MW then me and DP (whether he likes it or not) are going upstairs lol.

Baby is going nuts inside which is quite funny, I keep thinking its a contraction but its just the LO.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:25

LOL, (put pervs hat on again) the only way we could manage sex whilst heavily pregnant was ahem Not sure it actually did anything to get it going but it was fun

How are you finding being pregnant? Are you a lover or a hater? LOL

It may well be BH setting the baby off, if all goes quiet don't get too excited but that is a good sign of something starting

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:27

I'm a hater at the moment. I can't cope with the heartburn and it bugs me how DP and my parent's won't let me do stuff. Also that I can't do stuff myself cos it might hurt baby. lol

I'm guessing the only way (sex-wise) is going to be that way. lol.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:31

I got through a packet a day of renies when I pregnant, felt like someone was running a red hot knife down the back of my throat. The only thing I found that helped a tiny bit was eating small but often, helped to cut the acid in your belly what causes the heartburn.

You should be reveling in not being able to anything, believe me after you've had the baby (the time when you want to sit and do nowt) everyone will expect you to be up dancing the jig!

It is so exciting What buggy did you buy (I am a secret buggy adict, don't tell anyone lol)
