My buggy www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/bruhome/brutravel/brutravelpushchairs/brutravelpushchairstravelsystem s/726052 It's really nice and so easy to move around!

Maybe I should just relax. It's just there is so much to be done that I can't do. lol.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:42

Oh I looked at that one while looking for DS2's

I had a Graco for DS1, didn't get on with it very well, but it was humongous and so bloody clodoper-ish.

I was looking yesterday at the twin ones..... I know FGS and all that..... think I am going to have to turf DS2 out of the buggy before another baby arrives, there is no way I am pushing a twin one round, I can barely drive his stoller now, I'd get done for attempted murder if I was let lose with a twiny lol

Yes relaxing is good, I spent most of the last part of my pregnancy in the bath (honestly I got in and out about 6 times a day!) it is the only place where you can get relief from the weight and you are totally alone so you can talk () to the baby and really envisage it all

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:43

... Don't know how many times I told him to hurry up and get the f*ck out of there lol

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:44

I can't spend much time in the bath cos my exzema (sp) is acting up again and any add-ins to the bath make it really itchy. Everytime I have a bath and wash it puts the shower gell or soap in the water and OUCH! lol. It is lovely though to relax with the bump floating. I really want DP to put the pool up so I can lie in it but he won't! lol

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:47

Can't you have a bath in plain water and then have a shower? (I always have a shower after a bath, else I don't feel clean, am I a wierdo? Don't answer that!!)

We had the pool set up in the dining room for weeks (because of my bloody uterus!) never got the water in it though!

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:48

Yeh that's how I normally have a bath (shower afterwards) for the exact same reasons you just said. I mean you're bathing in your own filth so a shower afterwards makes sense.

You know when you get contractions is it always over your whole belly?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:52

When my waters broke in hospital, I had about 5 contractions all really close together they were really low down in my belly really really low down, as the time went on they started spreading over my belly.

Most people have them in different ways.....

Have you had something contraction like??? Tell me tell me tell me

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:53

Well i've got tightenings at the top of my belly. BUT it could just be the baby kicking me! Although s/he seems to have gone quiet.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:55

oooooooooooooooo I am so excited

Have you timed them?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:56

c'mon woman quicker

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:56

Nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:56

Tease!!!!

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:56

no cos its just for like 5-10 secs tight and then dissapears for maybe a minute. Nothing painful or even uncomfortable, I just noticed it.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 10:58

Could be BH, could be something starting

So you have had a show, and now getting tightnings

It's looking good chick

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 10:59

I just wish MW would hurry up today (she said could be anytime between 9-5) so I can ask her if these things sound right.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 11:01

They sound right to me

I have got to go and change George's bum, will brb, don't go ANYWHERE!!!! Am counting on you to keep me sane whilst DS1 is tidying his room

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 11:02

Ok!

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 11:08

Ok I'm back, have you had the baby yet?

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 11:08

Oh yeh, just popped out! lol

How is George?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 11:15

LOL, wouldn't it be great if it was that easy?!

He is fine, turning into a right little cheeky chappy. He is such a chatterbox, nothing will keep him quiet at times! DS1 used to hate being told no, if I had to tell him no (don't touch the fire/telly/wires etc.) he would cry his heart out and never go near them again, George, you tell him no, he looks at you, falls into fits of giggles and does whatever he was doing again! Think I have got my work cut out with him!!

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 11:15

Aww bless him. You enjoy being mummy then.

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 11:17

Yep, wouldn't change it for the world.

It is the only thing I have done, stuck at it, and IMHO, do quite well, even if I do say so myself!!

Nothing prepares you for it Jen, but once you've done it, there is no turning back, it is GREAT!!!

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 11:19

You like me then? Give up on stuff really quickly?

NatalieJane · 12/01/2008 11:23

I used to be, I don't think I am now, but then haven't started anything to give up really since having the kids. Oh, I did, learning to drive, failed my test and that was that, never driven since, but, if we do this move I am going to do one of the crash course things and do it in a week (hopefully!)

LuckySalem · 12/01/2008 11:24

Driving is nice and easy. I'd go nuts without my car now (although barely drive it cos DP insists on driving everywhere)
