Morning

DD much better today and up early to try and re-introduce a routine in this house....right off to unpack from hols ....the poor cat is lying on the spare bed amongst all the unpacking!

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 09:20

Yeah TA it is, it's gross, I spend my whole day picking hairs out of DD's fists so she doesn't eat them.

Sorry tried catching up but my brain is like mush. Feel like crap still, can't breathe through my nose, or taste anything, which means I can't taste chocolate!

Just realised my baby massage class which starts tomorrow is at the same time as bfing group. can't change it either as it is booked up till february! It's at the same community centre so maybe I can pop in.

DD is so talkative at the moment, it's so cute!

hi. i feel crap today. got realy rather annoyed last night as dh decided - at 11.30pm - he was staying over after the party. i couldn't sleep because i was cross, then after feeding lo i couldn't get back to sleep cos ds2 was in bed wriggling and my sinuses hurt. i didn't dare have painkillers in case i slept in and dh didn't get back in time to sort the kids for school.ds2 is home from nursery "ill" - he is better now he knows GD is coming round.

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 10:00

Morning everyone!

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:06

hi holly, you been off having a real life?!

sorry you are feeling crap ria. men, you can' live with them...

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 10:07

Hey bumper! Not really having a life as such, the boys were here and I couldn't get on the pc!

You ok?

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 10:11

hi holly. was it ok with the boys?

someone thought dhs daughter was his wife last night

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:13

yes thanks, got a stinking cold though! and stressing about my move on friday! have had to hire a large van for £80, pay double the deposit on this place etc. moving really screws your finances! Listen to whinging as usual - sorry!

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:14

eww ria, people do that with me and my dad! to be fair, dh is only 4 years younger than my dad. but still - eww!

BadZelda · 01/10/2007 10:17

TA - it only falls out for a little while and then grows back. It's compensating for not having lost any during pregnancy, I think.

BadZelda · 01/10/2007 10:19

Morning Holly! DH off work today looking after DD1 (and himself, as he came off his bike and bruised his ribs on friday) so I'm looking forward to some writing time today...I can dream!

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 10:22

tis a bit freaky. he can come across a bit creepy at times too.

WE will be starting OUR diet again when I have been to the supermarket. all DHs smart clothes looked awful . I suppose that's what happens when you never go anywhere

too-poorly-to-go-to-nursery ds2 is in the garden helping grandpop cut the hedge.

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 10:23

i am bored

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:26

me too ria

BadZelda · 01/10/2007 10:37

want me to send you chapters 1-30? could do with some free proofreading [cheeky grin]

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 10:41

Boys were ok, except for the wet bed!! As if I don't have enough washing to do. I had to take a load of nappies to my parents' last night to tumble dry. The washing on my line has been there for 3 days, it just won't dry! I have a load in the machine and the basket is full!

Bumper, you poor thing having to move! I hate it. The bloody letting agents charge you so much money, it's criminal! Twunts!

Lucky you BZ, enjoy your writing!

My ds is doing my head in! He screams, so I put in dummy, he sucks it, falls asleep and all is well. 30 secs later he pulls his dummy out and starts screaming again! GGGGGRRRRR!!!

Bloody men Ria! Mine has completely pissed me off this weekend!

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:49

bz i would love to if i had time, but don't really get a chance to read with dd. also i am a very fast reader so probably wouldn't even spot any typos.

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 10:50

BZ - in the days when I had an "almost career" I worked in a tyopesetting office and used to skim read manuscripts.

DH is at the hospital now. I am hoping baggins will sleep when he gets back so I can go to bed and DH will have to do housework.

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 10:51

not that you can tell from my typing.

I think your book would be too scary for me

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:52

we've got tobuy a washing machine too DH doesn't think it is worth getting a second hand one. fortunately we have about £100 of john lewis vouchers left over from our wedding.

can't believe the boys are still wetting the bed. do they do it at home? can you bn them from drinking an hour before bed?

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 10:53

just a thought holly, but is it definitely wee? (sorry).

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 10:56

I'm not allowed to mention the bedwetting! Their mum goes mad if I make an "issue" of it! FFS, he is 12 years old and wets the bed, it is an issue! She might not mind stinking pissy beds and changing the sheets every night, but I do! I just don't understand why it is ok.

John Lewis own brand appliances are quite reasonable and apparently are really good!

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 10:59

Do you put plastic sheets down?

bumperlicious · 01/10/2007 11:02

Think we are going to get this one. What a sucky thing to spend my vouchers on!
