OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 21:21

I had an inkling it was me foxy?.......but I'm probably wrong.

It was someone in SW London!

trendaverter · 05/10/2007 21:40

I'm not too worried about his weight tbh, just getting the comments from other people you know?
The thing is he just has gone off food, he has turned his nose up at it, and whatever does go in he happily voms up, but he's not yelling for food either so tbh I am not worried. He seems fine, just slowing down, but I get a lot of comments from my mum, HV's etc, and I feel like telling them to sod off.
I just think he's getting bulimia from a young age
He's not on solids yet. Shows no interest in anything except nursery rhymes and tv. But's he's happy enough.

Argh just had a shitty afternoon. Cleaners said their key didn't work, so they didn't come in, the house is a shit tip and I am working this weekend and won't have time to clean, got stuck in traffic on the M4 on my way home, DHL didn't collect my deliveries so I now have to send lots of emails to people apologising for late deliveries, plus had to cook dinner etc etc. Nothing major, just had enough for one day!!

Plus the dog peed at the top of the stairs and it did a wonderful waterfall. And as I am cleaning it DS voms all over the couch. You know, just one of those days.

I am going to spend money to cheer myself up.

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 21:43

As long as you are treating yourself to something nice TA....no doubt this has been the longest two weeks of your life....you deserve it!

trendaverter · 05/10/2007 21:52

I am going to buy myself a car.
And some nappies (which whilst not strictly for me do provide some joy because I am a saddo)

trendaverter · 05/10/2007 21:53

well actually I am going to surf and look at cars I wish I could have then try and persuade DH it IS a good idea really

trendaverter · 05/10/2007 21:53

But I will definately get the nappies

Am off to bed, night all x

faylisa · 05/10/2007 22:23

I'm off to bed now, night all - may we all have uniterrupted sleep (well we can hope!)

Daisy - will continue with scrab tomorrow

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 22:46

Awww, TA you poor thing. Hope you spent lots of your hard earned cash to cheer yourself up!

If everyone that wants to do the secret santa could email me that would be fabby! What I'll do is keep it open til the end of the month, then any stragglers won't be left out! Then at the beginning of Nov I'll assign "Santas" with their "children". That leaves the whole of Nov to get the gifts sorted to send out in Dec.

Does all that make sense and sound ok?

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 22:52

Actually come to think of it, I'll start pairing up "santas and children" on the 15th and close the entry at the end of the month. That gives you extra time to buy and receive your gifts.

Don't send them out until dec though, otherwise it won't be christmasy!

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 22:54

holly, I sincerely hope that we will leave them under the tree till Christmas morning!

I thought everyone was gone.

I don't know aht's wrong with me...I'm bloody knackered all day and then come this time of night I'm wide awake!

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 22:56

holly, what about you in all of this? My DH said he would assign the santas with recipients if we want so it keeps it all anonymous!

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 22:58

I'm exactly the same daisy! I've always been a night owl though, I could easily stay up til 3 or 4, but I'm just shit in the mornings. I used to go to bed at 7 in the morning and sleep til 2 in the afternoon! I think I may have a melatonin deficiancy!

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 23:02

I'm the same too. A lot of it is down to having to keep weird hours so I get time with DH when he's working. I'm knackered but I can't go to bed just yet. The Dr said the ADs would help with my nightmares though.

But then I used to have weeks where I would go to bed with the DCs and not bother get up when DH gets in. Despite being happy with this time of night at home though, if I go away with my DPs, I can't keep up!

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 23:03

hooray - J Ross has lost the weird beard at last

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 23:04

I'm now thinking...wine/bed, bed/wine...'tis a tough call. And DH will only be snoring!

I should express or I'll have boobs like bricks in the morning!

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 23:05

Ria, what ADs has he got you on?

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 23:08

Um, not sure daisy! If your dh wouldn't mind doing it that would be great. I'll do all the organising and put together a list of all the names and addresses, then all he's got to do is pair people up and email them. I'd ask my dp to do it, but he's a bit shit and he'd just tell me who had bought my present!

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 23:09

have to go and look in the locked "drugs cupboard"...

sertraline?

Have never had them before. He said they would be present in BM but don't have any effect on LO. I have to believe him, and he's a parent of tiny DCs so I don't think he would take any risks?

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 23:10

My fucking dp is already snoring on the sofa, it's driving me bonkers! The trouble is is that I can't just leave him down here coz I can hear him snoring from upstairs. It's gonna take me ages to wake him up and drag him upstairs...grrrr!

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 23:11

I just couldn't face the panic attacks I get with citalopram, because I'm not suffering with them regularly this time.

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 23:11

whisper "do you want a shag" in his ear

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 23:25

that's what I'm taking.....and mine were prescribed by the consultant psychiatrist at the neo-natal unit...so I bow to his superior knowledge. Apparently only a tiny amount is present in BM.....much less than prozac or citalopram. I don't think they are as good as prozac though, and alcohol seems to dull their effect somewhat.

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 23:27

hooly, I could torture my DH with lit cigarettes and he still wouldn't tell me who had sent my pressie...he's farking annoying like that!

Fine though...if you get the list together and then e-mail it to him, he can do the rest....oooh I'm so excited

riabutterflew · 06/10/2007 00:20

that's why I'm cutting back on the drinking. I want it to work. PLEASE.

can anyone point me in the direction of the laws on noise in residential areas after 11pm (dimly remembered from highway code so probably wrong). Baggins & I have been to bed but are back up due to wankers down the street - whom I have been tolerant of for far too long and have stopped DH ringing DVLA/council many times - revving egines, squealing the tyres (probably a more technical phrases than that)and speeding round the street at midnight. This time they are going to regret it, and I am WAY scarier than DH

scary rant over (ish). Night all Rx

andiem · 06/10/2007 09:27
