thanks every one yes shes out once more been told to watch her 24 hours a day now, and can not leave her with any ones not confident of doing cpr , we was told to learn so its natural to us,( as if)

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 18:27

I think my ADs are just kicking in - how the hell do people manage to enjoy drugs?

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 18:55

I was just thinking....in the midst of all these postal strikes it might be an idea to get the secret santa idea up and going.

I'll be santa's little helper if you all want and get everything organised.

So...who's in?

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 18:58

Me, me...can i be in.

Do we need another thread to keep it off this one?

but we have to admit our secret shower recipient first...I still don't kow who sent mine, although I have a fair idea.

Charlie999 · 05/10/2007 19:00

Yep - I'm in

Jamantha · 05/10/2007 19:01

Count me in please

faylisa · 05/10/2007 19:02

Me too for secret santa - did we decide whether we were doing it for us or babies? Do we do it via email, and how much do we spend? (am all excited at the thought of xmas already, I really must calm down!) Yeah!

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 19:06

me too - i love christmas shopping

prezzies for mummies I think someone said

sputnik · 05/10/2007 19:07

Can't decide.... I'm Ms Bah Humbug

faylisa · 05/10/2007 19:12

Pressies for mummies gets my vote - lo's will, no doubt, get lots anyway and are a bit young to appreciate them!

loonylovegood · 05/10/2007 19:18

I think we should do it like we did the secret stork. The buyer chooses whether the pressie is for mum or baby or both! It's more fun to buy stuff for baby!

I think the best thing to do is to email me (hollyandalice at hotmail.co.uk) with your name and address and I'll get everything started. Also, like the scret stork, if you put stuff that you def DON'T want in the email then no-one will buy you something you either don't like or already have.

I spose I'd better change my name to a secret santa name!

andiem · 05/10/2007 19:20

can i join in too i will email you

Charlie999 · 05/10/2007 19:50

Holly - have messaged you through FB - save me logging onto work e-mail and forgetting passwords, trying to work out 5th letter of this and 2nd number of that etc.....brain too haddled for all that tonight

No takers for pushchair and DD then ...ah well she's bathed, fed and asleep on her daddy and looks like butter wouldn't melt....perhaps I'll keep her after all....

riabutterflew · 05/10/2007 19:53

DH wants DS3 christening near xmas. we were hoping my sis would be here but she won't. i don't know whether to get on with it or wait and see if she comes at Easter. and as you all know, I want to avoid having a party to avoid entertaining mil. it's nice to have a small-ish baby at a christening though.

have massaged ds2&3 again.

will email you in a bit holly. can you remind us if our person has a DS or DD - just in case i get carried away

foxybrown · 05/10/2007 20:01

I'm in too!

Daisy, would you mind texting Bumper and wish her good luck with her move? Might be an idea to remind her of the Secret Santa too

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 20:03

What a good idea foxy

faylisa · 05/10/2007 20:06

Have emailed

We are planning to have DS christened but nothing organised yet - probably small event in Jan or Feb. We didn't 'do' DD until she was nearly 11 months, and walking, so want to have DS christened before he can walk up to the font!

faylisa · 05/10/2007 20:08

Ria, where is your DS? Mine currently lives in Oz and I find it very hard not having her around. Not sure yet whether she'll make it home for christmas.

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 20:09

DCs both in bed, but DD is chuntering to herself (loudly). she normally drifts off herself, but maybe not tonight

I'll wait till DH gets back from the chocolate shop and send him up. I am officially (except for the provision of liquid refreshment) off duty

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 20:10

Oh, I'll send seansgirl a text as well....I know she's not been about much but I don't want her to feel left out

Jamantha · 05/10/2007 20:20

Must be something in the air. DD took longer than usual to get to sleep tonight. DH ended up letting her suck on his finger until she settled into a nice soothed state, whereas normally she goes down quietly after her feed, chunters to herself in the dark for a few minutes and drifts of to sleep.

Right, must go check on the curry I'm making for tea...

Elsbells · 05/10/2007 20:30

Hi all...hope it is not too late to join the postnatel lot.

I had my 2nd DC 7 June - DD (have DS too 2y2m). I did post once I think in the antenatel thread but life got in the way of keeping it up.

Since being on maternity leave a 2nd time round I have become addicted to this website.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind me dipping in and out. Nice to chat to others with DC's the same age.

Off now so hope to speak to you all soon.

Jamantha · 05/10/2007 20:31

Hi and bye Elsbells. Come back soon!

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/10/2007 20:37
