Poor DD Bumper, hope the Calpol sorts things out. DS has a heavy cold and is miserable with it. Blardy imms were about 10 days ago - figures!

Jamantha · 02/10/2007 19:39

Sympathies to all with colds - DD is just over hers, took about 10 or 11 days. Was horrible when at its worst. And meant we didn't take her swimming yesterday. But we did go to the seaside instead

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 19:45

hey annobal...are you having a nice time with your parents?

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 19:46

bumper, how is DDs feeding?

bumperlicious · 02/10/2007 19:46

what was wrong with ds3 annobal?

annobal · 02/10/2007 19:52

Thanks Daisy - we're chilling at the moment. Weather is too shite to do much.

DS33 has a heavy cold and has spent all of the day asleep. It just worried me when he woke up this evening and went all floppy and wouldn't respond. He seemed to revive when we got to the drs. He's just done a trump that lasted 10 seconds - he is his father's son .

riabutterflew · 02/10/2007 19:53

it's not just cities daisy - in scarboro' a 17yo boy has just been charged (ithink, maybe just arrested)with alleged murder and indecent assault of a 2yo. the world is an evil place.

hi J & annobal & everyone

annobal · 02/10/2007 19:53

I mean ds3

Jamantha · 02/10/2007 19:54

Hi Ria.

LOL at DS33

annobal · 02/10/2007 19:55

Hi Ria. How're things?

trendaverter · 02/10/2007 19:57

Bumper what is this other hilarious thread?! I need a link goddammit!

Daisy - no idea about DS's weight but as I have just had to plonk him in 6-9 month clothes size I'd say he was doing ok!

He's really long and skinny though, so all his clothes could fit 2 of him widthways, he's just so TALL

He is still vomming madly but I am putting him on SMA white (hungry baby) milk which seems to help?! weird.

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 19:58

LOL at 33

I missed your post about ds annobal, sorry. That must have been pretty scary. Is he OK now though?

DD has finished her feed and is now flaked out....I hope she stays that way!

One of her legs looks really red and inflamed, but I think that is the leg that got two jabs.

bumperlicious · 02/10/2007 20:01

think she means this

annobal · 02/10/2007 20:01

Poor DD Daisy . DS is looking better but still not himself. At least he's awake now and talking to his toys.

bumperlicious · 02/10/2007 20:02

glad ds3 is ok now, what a worry for you.

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 20:03

Holly.....do you still have your birthing pool?

I saw this thread and thought of you!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 20:03

did the dr say what caused it?

bumperlicious · 02/10/2007 20:04

didn't they discover it had a puncture as she went into labour ?

Jamantha · 02/10/2007 20:07

TA, I remember a cousin of mine having a baby (years ago) who vommed a lot. The doctors put it down to being super hungry and therefore guzzling madly which just lead to being sick from taking too much, too fast. Could something similar be happening here?

annobal · 02/10/2007 20:08

I think he may have been too hot while he was sleeping, possibly? But who knows. He does seem better now, thank god!

loonylovegood · 02/10/2007 20:18

Thanks daisy! I've posted on that thread, puncture is repaired, if they want it I will warn them about it!

Ds is puking constantly as well TA, but has been since birth. I just don't understand how he puts on weight, I'm sure he throws up more than he drinks! I think it might be something I eat as the bottle of formula dp gave him last night stayed down. Not sure what it might be though. It's a mystery!

Just bought some baskets from Tesco and sorted my nappies out, I love to organise and stroke them, they are gorgeous! My Berry Plush has been dispatched, can't wait!!

trendaverter · 02/10/2007 20:23

Jamantha - possibly! I think sometimes that might be what's happening.
He never used to be a puker, that's what's weird.

Charlie999 · 02/10/2007 20:26

Evening...blardy footie is on in the other room so thought I'd come and see who's here....until that gorgeous man is on at 9 anyway

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 20:29

holly, it's maybe....wait for it...the RIBENA!!!!

I've put my prma in the for-sale on here and in spite of there being loads of women who change buggies as often as their underwear, hun, the only response I've had is from someone who wants to swap it for a Loola, hun.

What's the secret of successful selling holly?

I am officially very sad indeed. I have no wine so am drinking a glass of lavender liquer. It's like liquid parma violets and I can't decide whether it's nice or not

It's a lovely colour though!

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/10/2007 20:31

My DS was a champion puker as well (until he was 9mo then it just stopped overnight).....but put on loads of weight too. By this age he waas on 75th centile and a real little porker.
