trendaverter · 01/10/2007 21:10

right I'm off.
Night all!

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:12

Did anyone see Nigella and think she might be pregnant?

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:12

or has she just been eating too many of her own puds...!

daisyandbabybootoo · 01/10/2007 21:12

LOL TA...please tell me it's not home made pecan pie?

If it is you are putting us all to shame....full time job, full time mum, domestic goddess and all round good wife . How do you do it, and whatever you're taking can I have some?

daisyandbabybootoo · 01/10/2007 21:13

hi faylisa, I've not seen you for ages.

How are you and the DCs?

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:16

Hi Daisy. We're all ok thanks. DD started nursery last week which was a bit stressful but she seems to be loving it which is making my life lots easier and gives me two mornings a week to spend with DS - admittedly though this morning his 'quality' time involved being pushed round Sainsburys!

Have tried to keep up the past few days but failed miserably - how's everything with you?

sputnik · 01/10/2007 21:17

I'm sputnik's DH, got control of her PC for a moment...just to say it's perfectly legitimate for husbands to worry about what their wives are doing spending all night on the web. I mean, what is it about this mumsnet ?

sputnik · 01/10/2007 21:20

Pah, sorry about that everyone, he's been bothering me ever since my sister told him she found me on facebook

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:20

Hello Sputnik's DH - I maintain that the reason I mumsnet while watching tv is that women need to multi-task and if I wasn't mumsnetting then I'd be talking to him during his fave programmes which would drive him nuts - not sure he was convinced though!

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:21

BTW is anyone else still playing scrabulous, or is it just me??? If so, do you fancy a game?

sputnik · 01/10/2007 21:23

I have told him DH stands for dick head

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:35

Has everyobe gone

daisyandbabybootoo · 01/10/2007 21:38

No, I'm still here...I was off checking out the FLY lady thread for tomorrow

LOL at your DH sputnik, and ROFL at your explanation faylisa.

Mine is quite happy to let me putter away as it means he can go and smoke in the garden and I don't nip his head about it!

I got fed up with scrabulous crashing all the time, but I'll give you a game if you're still there!

faylisa · 01/10/2007 21:44

I am still here - will challenge you now!

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 22:13

Evening all, just got back from my evening class!

Gonna make my scrab move now daisy, you nag!

don't tell my dp, but I just bought a berry plush! Shhhh!!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 01/10/2007 22:19

Ooooh, outside of an evening....you lucky lucky thing!

have you got the berry plush, is it nice?

I'm holding off buying any more until I know her skin is on the mend.

Been in disposables today....PILs clueless with cloth, and DH out two wet nappies in the bucket that held all my CLEAN wraps so I had no wraps.

faylisa · 01/10/2007 22:21

What evening class r u doing? I'd love to do something but not sure what to try....

riabutterflew · 01/10/2007 22:23

nigella is just too smug, and she must get fat all that snacking she does at night

nite nite. Rx

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 22:26

Yeah, I would like going out, but I think ds is a bit young for me to be able to relax! Plus dp had to give him formula because I forgot to express!

I've just ordered the Berry Plush, dalmation, the one I wanted! It is a large though, so won't fit him for a while, but I couldn't resist! Maybe dd will wear it! Ds seems to get nappy rash with disposables, odd isn't it?

One of my friends has just told everyone she is pg! It's very exciting for me! She is not a close friend, but I can see us becoming much closer. I saw her saturday and she wants to know everything! I talked to her for ages about prams, car seats, cots and bfing! SHe has also decided she wants to use cloth, v exciting for me to talk to a RL person about them! I'm very sad!

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 22:28

My dp fancies the pants off Nigella! I think he wishes I was more Nigella-ish! Fat chance!

I'm doing web design. It's not very exciting, but quite useful!

faylisa · 01/10/2007 22:33

Sounds good - I just fancy the chance to use my brain occasionally, although it's so long since I did that I reckon there's a good chance that it has seized up permanently

loonylovegood · 01/10/2007 22:35

My poor brain makes whiring sounds when it works now!

Night, dp is hovering xxx

faylisa · 01/10/2007 22:36

I'm going to give in and go to bed too.

faylisa · 01/10/2007 22:37

sorry daisy but farking facebook keeps crashing, can we continue tomorrow...?
