My day has been fine, a nice lazy morning, then we dropped DD off at the GPs and disappeared off for a few hours for lunch. It was lovely and I was reasonably OK with my choices, prawn salad followed by chargrilled tuna steak. It was delicious, and so nice to eat in a relaxed and leisurely fashion for a change
I had expressed about 14 ozs (not all in one go I hasten to add) and took two bottles, as whenever I leave her with DH she polishes off the bottle of ebm and then DH needs to give her formula. When we got back she had taken 3 measly ozs then refused any more. She was asleep, as gran had taken her out in the pram, but when she woke up she was beside herself and then wouldn't latch on at all. Or if she latched on she was getting really cross. Then SIL turned up with their DCs and DH collected DS from school so there was so much going on and she wouldn't feed again.
When we got home she fed for two hours without a break
She may be up through the night, but I still have the ebm in the bottle so DH is primed for dealing with that as I don't want to waste it!
Bumper, I struggle to get any from my right boob, but it really gushes out of the left (which is probably explaining why she struggels on the left if the let down is so fast). It is frustrating if you lose some or have to throw it away.
