LadyTophamHatt · 27/09/2007 06:20

for eandh

eandh · 27/09/2007 06:25

ouch that hurt!! (acyually woke me up as hattie woke at 5.30 again!)

LadyTophamHatt · 27/09/2007 06:29

I can beat that, ds4 has been awake since 5am. Gave up trying to get him back to slep and got up just before 6, he's done 2 massive, disgusting poos already.

He did about 7 poos yesterday....so 2 already prob means I'm in for an epic nappy changing day.

eandh · 27/09/2007 06:38

that is why she gets up at silly o clock every day she flippin poos between 4.30 and 5.30 and then just refuses to go back to sleep, I normally come downstairs with her as DH leaves for work between 4.45 and 5.30 and if we stay upstairs Hattie's shreeks wake Ellie up as well (although she came downstairs at 6am

geoRGEEweasley · 27/09/2007 08:29

STOP HITTING, LTH, OR I WILL SEND YOU TO THE NAUGHTY STEP

I am soooo bright and breezy (despite still spreading snot over the thread).
Day off, and lo must be on the mend as we were woken early with her singing to her teddies, and I only had to get up once last night (1.33am for anyone who's interested) to tend to coughing. Hurrah!!!
So, plan was to go back to bed this morning but feel amazingly chirpy, so already a load of washing has been done, kitchen cleaned, and I am contemplating hoovering. but maybe that's a step too far.
Heading in to town later this morning to spendspendspend!

MrsC hope you're feeling a bit better today.

eandh · 27/09/2007 08:38

and yes I am on my way to naughty step

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2007 08:56

gosh (golly & crikey) you lot were busy last night!

Just so you know:
Dislike:
CANDLES (never use them & have a stockpile) chicklit, anything remotely to do with babies, ornaments & picture frames.

Like:
Bling (faux is fine!), books about Chineese women and their awful lives eg. Memoirs of a Geisha style) I collect charms for my charm bracelet. I love crafty things, and am quite into patchwork so nice fabric would be unusual...um...make up, smellies all good too.

Plus, I also think we should make an effort to wrap up the presents as over the top as possible. As then it will look fab under the xmas tree and our DP's will be jealous!

laughalot · 27/09/2007 09:58

Lizz I would have put you down as a candle type person.

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2007 10:20

The only time I use them is when I am conducting voodoo ceremonies to summon my dead ancestors.

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2007 10:20

seriously

laughalot · 27/09/2007 12:15

lizz tell me more or am I being extremely stupid

theUrbanDryad · 27/09/2007 18:27

new pics on my profile - check em out!!

eandh · 27/09/2007 18:29

awwww they are great UD (love the ones of lth ds showing Zac all the feature points!!)

Did u see my new pics my pushy proud mummy moment?

theUrbanDryad · 27/09/2007 18:34

i love the one of her writing on the chalk board!! and Hattie coming out of the kitchen - as if there would scraps of food on your kitchen floor! (she should come over to mine sometime, plenty of scraps on the floor there!)

eandh · 27/09/2007 18:38

She literally sits by the feet of anyone eating waiting to see if they drop any food her 2nd favourite trick is to crawl into the kitchen whilst I dish up dinner again just in case any gets dropped!!

Ellie loves her 50p chalkboard amd had nephew all day today and he has been creating some masterpieces!

VinoRouge · 27/09/2007 19:26

For secret santa:-
Like: chunky bracelets (although I have large wrists so they have to have a clasp or be stretchy), simple stud ear-rings, chick lit, sanctuary smellies, lock and lock tupperware boxes (!), sets of notelets/thank you cards, prettily covered small notebooks for me to fill with lists

Dislike: necklaces, anything animal related

BTW what was our budget?

Another busy day for me...at the post office at 7.30am to collect a signed for letter, tesco for shopping, dump lots of rubbish at the tip then home for 9.20 for a late brek for ellen except she was asleep and didn't wake til 10.30 so it was v late. Poor thing. A friend and her baby were round for lunch then went to baby clinic - e weighs 21.1lb - swimming lesson then home. 3 poohs in 30 minutes before bottle and bed. Vinorouge for me now

tomorrow am meant to be going to nott'm to see a friend who has just started mat leave but saw on facebook she has been for a scan today so not sure if visit is stil on. Left her a message. If its off then a day at home with no plans will be quite welcome.

Last night had a viewing booked for 7.30 but they didn't turn up so was annoyed. I just want to sell the b8888y house as have first and reserve house lined up that I want to buy.

EAH I am jealous of your bargain chalkboard.

Mrs C - sympathies re mastitis.

UD - any luck with house hunting yet? When does DH start his new job?

VinoRouge · 27/09/2007 19:40

I mean I have large hands not large wrists

ratfly · 27/09/2007 21:01

evening all

had the day from hell today - on the broken laptop by the way, so excuse lack of punctuation. s woke twice in the night for aaaaggggeeeessss, i ended up sleeping on his floor with my finger in his mouth - don't ask..

then when we woke up, his face was bright red and yellow with eczema . went to doctors, who said it wasnt infected, then rang dermatologist who said it sounds like it IS infected, then went back to doctors to get antibiotics. oh, and all of this before going to work and teaching the class from hell. things can only get better....

love the christmas lists - love hearing what you are all into. ud - same tastes as me again - i forgot to mention i love lush smellies.

thanks for putting me on your facebook - it's fab seeing what you all look like, and all your pics.

my mn name is after my first pet rat - about 12 years ago. she was really tame, and came to her name. i have found it is the only name i can have for all of my logins - strangely enough no one else anywhere is a ratfly

trixymalixy · 27/09/2007 21:52

Hi all,

Quick post as i'm in the middle of trying to tidy our pit of a house as it's Ds' christening on Sunday.

My Mum went a bit overboard with the inviting, was supposed to be just close family and friends and somehow we have ended up with 60 people coming. Yikes!!!

Love your photos Eah and UD.

Ooh ooh, I'm on facebook too, can I see all your photos too? I'm the Victoria Hughes with a VW van as profile pic. I'm already Wilkie's friend so you can find me in her list of friends.

ratfly · 27/09/2007 22:07

trixy - added you to my facebook

eah -seen the pics. can't believe that chalkboard was 50p. what a bargain!

geoRGEEweasley · 28/09/2007 07:52

Morning.
Can't believe lo is back in bed so early. She was a bit grumbly and snotty again this morning. Hope we don't have arelapse on our hands.

Had a good day yesterday but it was too short! Bought a few things including a couple of tops from M&S (realised I must be getting old as I now like most of the clothes there), lots of big bras (including a sports bra so now I have properly run out of excuses as to why I can't go jogging again), and some big transfers to put in lo's nursery. Nipped into Wilkinsons and they had a few easels in, but couldn't get one as was couldn't carry that with my other bags. There weren't priced which is why I think there's still a few there (if you want one Vino).

Trixy I've added you to Facebook, but Ratfly I don't know wo you are in rl to add . Give us a clue!

Vino I sense this house business is peeing you off. Sending house buying vibes your way! Will check those dates with DH btw and get back to you. I could see if I could get the car and we could go out - Temple Newsam farm or summat?

What's all this pooing for?

Nothing planned today.

VinoRouge · 28/09/2007 08:20

Rgee I can easily get to temple newsam on the bus, and only one bus from here woopee doo

god knows why e is pooing so much but she did one in the night which is v unusal

my mate is ok for our visit today but had forgotten we were going! I ended up offering to take lunch cos she sounded a bit stressed having had scans re low placenta.

hmmm is there a wilkinsons en route today

its defo autumn I have my heating on and justpacked awway all e's summer dresses that she fit almost fits but realistically isn't gonna get to wear anymore

VinoRouge · 28/09/2007 08:22

rgee ratfly is nicola denny

laughalot · 28/09/2007 10:09

Laughalot is sooooooo happy I bought my secret santa present last week and then had a horrible thought about it being ok hence why I said lets get a list going of the things we like. I just thought if my mystery person says she hates such and such I shall give it to someone else well it turns out my mystery person mentioned this particular thing as something she likes yippee I am soooooooooooo pleased so cheers ???????????????????????? mystery person.

theUrbanDryad · 28/09/2007 11:10

ok, i'm going to sound really stupid now but...

if you have a period then you've ovulated a week or so before? so if you're ovulating then you're fertile? right? even if you're bf-ing? i really should've paid more attention in biology...
