Happy Birthday!! mammyjo - hope you have a super lovely day sweetie! 21 again, eh!!?

Yey for lie-in's Elkie - P is getting better, up at 6am this morning, which doesn't feel as bad as 5am!! She sleeping in her bouncy chair next to me atm and other 2 have already gone to nursery, so it is nice and quiet!

For now!

Off to work this PM and then out for mine and DH belated Anniversary meal - hurrah! Going to Thai Marina - my favourite resteraunt.

CaptainDippy · 28/08/2007 08:48

Oh and Ellie - NO NO NO to Vincent!!

Eddas · 28/08/2007 08:55

Morning, I ache all over. Spent the lovely sunny weekend doing inside house stuff Sunday I hoovered the front room and sofas with one of those water vac things(i'm very technical) and monday i spent glossing the hallway, 9, yes 9, hours spent painting. Can you see what i've done, nope coz it's blardy white but i can see so that's what counts. At least it was productive

Thing is dh took dcs to the beach. THen I found out literally his whole family went to so i missed out on a lovely trip but by all accounts(except dd's) dd had a lovely time. Ds apparently cried the whole day, but then his teeth are giving him jip. And he's got slight sunburn again( on dh's behalf since it really is his fault this time)

Thanks oooggs, have replied

off to read rest of the thread

Happy birthday young mammyjo, hope you have or have had a great time at Longleat - I was taken there on holiday when I was about 8 and I loved it.

leakyR · 28/08/2007 09:17

Morning!

Blimey Eddas there was nothing holiday-like in your Bank Holiday. Very impressed with all your hard work.

Katy - hope you're feeling better and home from hospital soon.

Ellie - I second CD's NO NO NO to Vincent. He looks like an axe murderer.

Very of your lie in Elkie.

G was in with us from 5am (4th wake up since 8pm last night). My ear thing has started again so I was a bit wobbly on my feet, kind of fell over with him trying to put him back in his cot (neither of us hurt - he barely woke), got such a fright decided to keep him with me on the bed.

leakyR · 28/08/2007 09:19

Oh and Happy Birthday Mammyjo!!! Have fun at Longleat.

normabutty · 28/08/2007 09:30

I seem to be the only one who doesn't think Vincent is an axxe murderer...I reallly must have wierd taste!!!

Good luck with all 3 Oooggs!

Elkie - glad you got a lie in yesterday and had a lovely day with your dad.

Eddas - impressed at the painting! Dh still hasn't painted our kitchen ceiling.

normabutty · 28/08/2007 09:30

Happy Birthday Mammyjo!!!!

normabutty · 28/08/2007 09:31

Oh and (((hugs))) Lesley, I bet the fall gave you such a shock. Glad you were both ok.

CaptainDippy · 28/08/2007 09:58

'Fraid it is just you, NB on the Vincent thing - I like older men and I like geeks, but that is just taking it too far!!

Poor thing Leaky hon. xx Hope ear feels better soon, not nice. xx

I am hungreeeee, now P is back down for a sleepy, I think I'll raid the fridge!

elkiedee · 28/08/2007 10:36

I don't think V is an axe murderer but he doesn't appeal to me, and more importantly, he's not for Ellie!

CaptainDippy · 28/08/2007 10:49

Sorry NB - we all think he is an Axe Murderer!!

normabutty · 28/08/2007 11:17

Ah well, I'm not known for being fussy

runnyhabbit · 28/08/2007 11:19

Morning all

Not much to say (first time for everything)
Weather is glorious (3rd load of washing in machine) J in nursery, so W is "helping" me with housework. Using the FLY threads to help me, cos I'm so peed off with being untidy!!

Hope everyone's ok

xx

normabutty · 28/08/2007 11:29

Erin's teeth are def bothering her...have finally got her to sleep after giving her some teething powder. Is it ok to give calpol as well if i need to?

weeonion · 28/08/2007 11:33

norma - i am not sure. are teh teething powders just homeopathic - if so - then woudl it be ok to give calpol as it will only be it which contains paracetamol. i dunno -maybe talking out my hat!

runnyhabbit · 28/08/2007 11:34

nutty - yep, I've been giving some to W. Although nurofen for children is better (must get some) cos its an anti-inflammatory, so helps with the swollen/tenderness.

not sure if anyone knows this, but tesco pharmacy sell little plastic syringes for about 60/70p which are ideal for giving lo medicine

runnyhabbit · 28/08/2007 11:35

x-posts!

sis says yes, its ok give calpol with teetha powders

normabutty · 28/08/2007 11:36

Yes WO they are homeopathic.

Thanks RH - the pharmacy gave me a syringe with the calpol but useful to know where i can get them from (and useful for everyone else too!)

CaptainDippy · 28/08/2007 11:42

Good for you runny - are you feeling better in general? I'm off to work now, so best pack up the Mini pea and get on my way ........

"See" you later ........
