Hi Newy! Welcome to the madness of our thread!

Well L wouldn't take ebm this morning either... so following Liath's tip going to get dh to try tonight and I am going for a walk to remove my milky self from the situation. Would really like to get her to take bottle as was thinking of phasing out bfing in the next month or so. With all the issues I had bfing to start with, never imagined stopping might be an issue.

Well done Luce!

bumble75 · 17/08/2007 16:14

Hi Katy!

L does that as well, who knew I was so funny?

Katy44 · 17/08/2007 16:19

LOL at removing your milky self!

bumble75 · 17/08/2007 16:25

Hee hee... just hoping it works!
Speaking of being laughed at by babies, think mine is in the throes of waking up... nope sleeping again

Katy44 · 17/08/2007 16:46

lucky you
mine is grinning and touching his toes in his bumbo
flopped into the most unnatural looking position ever!

Sexonlegs · 17/08/2007 17:05

Hiya

Welcome Newy. Good to have some new recruits.

Bumble, good luck with the ebm!

Big wave to everyone else, as cannot remember a ruddy thing. Roll on 6 pm when dh will be home!

Hope everyone is well.

Katy44 · 17/08/2007 17:20

Hi SOL!
Right, off to make tea

leakyR · 17/08/2007 17:25

Haven't caught up - in laws still here. Just wanted to let you all know that hospital went well. No sign of bladder reflux and his urethra looks fine. He cried when the catheter went in and came out, but kept his best "they're trying to kill me" screaming for when he was strapped into the cradle (plastic tube) for the scan. My poor MIL was outside wondering what on earth they were doing! We'll find out about scarring on his kidneys soon hopefully, so keep your fingers crossed for a clear result.

Hope you're all well. will try and read thread soon.

Katy44 · 17/08/2007 17:30

ooh leaky
glad it all came back clear though

liath · 17/08/2007 17:38

Ooh, sounds grim Leaky - hope scan results are fine. Sounds like you & mil need a stiff gin .

elkiedee · 17/08/2007 18:16

I'm back I think! My internet browser (Internet Explorer) crashed. Yesterday I installed a version of another browswer which is about 8 years old and I was able to log onto mumsnet but not able to read or post on the whole of longer threads. I just managed to download an up to date version of my alternative browswer, and can see mumsnet properly.

elkiedee · 17/08/2007 18:49

Welcome newy. According to your profile, you're a north London neighbour. Which hospital (if a hospital) did you have your baby in?

EllieK · 17/08/2007 19:43

just a quick message, very at moment, my mother, tho i think i've finally decided she really isn't worth that title, has seriously gone too far this time, and i'm in tears, so i'm off to gran's for a hug, will post more when i'm back xx

bumble75 · 17/08/2007 20:00

Ellie - big hug to you, hope everything ok

Leaky - glad scan was ok, hugs to you & the wee man

Seems L will take ebm - just not from me - I went for walk and dh gave her bottle. She is odd though, apparently laughed at him when he first tried to give it to her... . She is now tucked up in grobag sound asleep so think safe to leave her with mil tomorrow night after all. She's definitely going to be getting a bottle of something every day from now on.

Liath meant to say earlier - thanks for the tip and have a great night out tomorrow night for your anniversary

Going for dinner and beer now. Have a good weekend all.

xx
