Hi ladies, hope you are all well. Still feel rough, but not as bad as yesterday - more tired than anything.

Has been lovely weather here today as well - makes such a difference doesn't it?

I am here very, very briefly while the boys fall asleep, once they are zonked i'm off upstairs to get clothes ready for tomorrow.

Had a good time at the BBQ, DH now gone for chinese as the food was served quite early this afternoon.

Oooggs - will ring her when get back - supposed to be meeting up this week - but she has taken to visiting Cornwall since her sister moved to Saltash. Her mum was absolutely brilliant at her ds1 birthday last week - was hoping to hire her on a daily basis!!

MIL is stable which is good but still critical.

DH gone home now as has work tomorrow and I am going home tomorrow.

WO - would love to meet up when you're back, happy to do Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Weather has been fab here this weekend, got all my sheets and towels line dried which is a rarity - and they smell so good! Had a stupid fight with dh which ruined last night but all made up today and had a lovely walk across the Meadows to Starbucks (we are addicted to frappucinos) and read the papers while L slept.

Liath - I haven't forgotten to email you, have just been sulking after fight with dh - will do it right now!

Luce - well done on the unpacking!

Octo, glad your mil is a wee bit more stable.

Think we are in for a pants night with B. She is really sweaty, but no temperature. She has called dh upstairs about 6 times. All quiet now, as she has been given Medised - I LOVE MEDISED!!! Don't think we will get through the night without a hitch though.

Yes - we went to the New Angel - it was lush! I had scallops to start with a kind of pea risotto, then duck then a raspberry pudding thing and dessert wine [yummy] - we also had a bottle of champagne!!

But was awake at 2,3,4 and 6 am arrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - did manage to get a few hours in this morning though.

Ernie simply isn't getting a full tummy when I bf him - and I am too tired to make him feed more - viscious circle really!

Bumble - pop onto the bumps north of the border thread in pregnancy section if you fancy and add your details - you too Luce - am thinking of suggesting an en mass scottish meet-up sometime towards the end of August - the earlier I can suggest it the more people will come - thinking there is about 15 of us, glasgow, lanarkshire, edinburgh, livvy and dundee... quite a few new babies too!!

Just checked the weather for next week - can someone please tell me how the fuck it can be 31 deg in cornwall next week, and only 19 deg in Glasgow??? They are only 400 miles apart - its fecking ridiculous!!!!! Ok, rant over!

Hee hee - I completely agree GMM, it's not fair! And I torture myself by looking at the forecast in Sydney as well - the five day forecast is sunny x 5 and hotter than Edinburgh -in their bloody winter!

gmm - mass meet up sounds great - w would need a fair bit of space t fit us all in. if we ever get any sun - it would be nice to be outside! i am back fro ireland the week of the 15th aug so hope i can make it!!

gmm, bumble and others in Scotland, hope the Scottish weather picks up, London weather has been much better than predicted for once today. But isn't Glasgow 400 miles from London, and so a bit further from Cornwall? You'll have to look into that plan to nick Maveta's weather again!

Will make it towards the end of Aug to give everyone plenty of notice, possibly once kids have gone back - wouldnt arrange it for whilst you are away - I'll need your help organising it!!
