NearlyHeddaslessNick · 28/07/2007 19:48

evening everyone,

dd has been a huge PITA today culminating in her weeing on her bedroom floor on purpose. She then got sent straight to bed with a massive telling off, no story, no kiss, no cuddle nothing. Door shut too!

Hope everyone else's days were better

oooggs · 28/07/2007 19:52

not good eddas ds1 has been ok but then daddy has been home so he has been occupied, but last night he was a horror.

Hope she improves tomorrow

WestCountryLass · 28/07/2007 20:49

Busy day, we went into town and kitted ourselves out in waterproofs ready for camping next week. Had to come home for lunch as ironing lady was colecting, then went to regatta, followed by mad dash across town to get to kids birthday party and I have only just sat down now!

oooggs · 28/07/2007 20:52

waterproofs

hope dippy packed hers, the rain this afternoon has been terrible

Sexonlegs · 28/07/2007 21:05

Hi ladies

Eddas, oh dear to your dd. Hope tomorrow is better.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Dh and B had a good time camping. I went down to West Wittering to meet up with them. It was lovely, but pretty windy. Had to change K's nappy on the beach, and poor lamb got covered in sand!

Now awaiting dh to return with a curry.

Still feel rough. Really sore throat, legs that feel like jelly and generally feeling pants. Have got through so many soluble aspirin! Even avoided wine for the last few nights - must be bad!!

Hi LuceWheel, ooooggs, anyone else still around. I thought I should spend a little time away from the computer today, a lie in, reading and chatting, attending to baby, then we went out for a bit, foolishly braved Sainsburys. By the time we got back it was already time for tea and then settling baby.

I have been doing a little messing around on Facebook, mainly trying to find who's actually on there. I've found a few cousins whom I've not seen for a bit, and an old flame. Another day gone by and really I feel I've done very little, but never mind.

elkiedee · 28/07/2007 22:39

LW, hope you made some progress with unpacking, and Eddas, I hope your daughter behaves better soon (is this what some of us have to look forward to?)

T slept through the night

elkiedee · 29/07/2007 17:38

Still verrrry quiet here on our post natal thread. Hope you're all having a good time wherever you've got to. I've read about 80 pages of my book and done a little rearrangement of some of my other books, that's about it.

Katy44 · 29/07/2007 17:40

Hi elkie
Just popping in before tea
Is the weather nice near anyone else? Maybe that's why no-ones on MN

Katy44 · 29/07/2007 17:42

GMM
Are you still up for meeting on Tuesday? I'm not going to BnB so can do morning or afternoon.
If you're going to town anyway, that's fine, but I'll be going to Sainsbury's at some point, they have quite a nice cafe if you fancy it? Easier than parking in town. I'm a cheap date Otherwise vennels is fine - can understand you might want to go back for nostalia's sake!

Katy44 · 29/07/2007 17:42

Will email you my mobile no

geordiemacminx · 29/07/2007 17:45

you still there katy?

elkiedee · 29/07/2007 17:55

The weather was predicted to be good Friday and Saturday and rubbish Sunday here - it's actually been rather better today than yesterday which was inconsistent.
