Was your journey OK GMM?

geordiemacminx · 01/08/2007 15:38

Yep - weather was crap but heyho - nothing new there - 2 1/2 hours door to door - C slept all the way - happy days!!

runnyhabbit · 01/08/2007 17:51

Hi all

Have had a quick flick through.

Octo - so, so sorry to hear about mil. Thoughts are with you all x

Thank you for all your support with pnd. It feels a bit odd, because I was playing with J on the beach today, mum was holding W, and I thought to myself, what problems do I really have? But I know that I'm not me right now, iykwim. I know that talking about it is the first step to getting the old runny back.

geordiemacminx · 01/08/2007 18:34

OK ladies, here's a pic of Charlie the big fat bloater and delicate little Tristans145.photobucket.com/albums/r203/geordiemacminx/?action=view&current=100_0831.jpg

normabutty · 01/08/2007 19:04

Octo - so sorry to hear about your MIL. Thinking of you all x

GMM - lovely pic...both cuties.

Had a nice time with parents. They bought Erin some clothes and dad bought me a skirt . Sorry for the quick note but about to make tea and have lots to do!

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 19:13

thanks gmm - C looks surprised and T looks fed up! he is tiny compared to most babies his age, with a small head

leakyR · 01/08/2007 19:14

Evening ladies

Octo - sorry to hear news about mil

GMM and Katy - lovely pic of your boys

Nutty - looking forward to meeting you and Erin tomorrow.

JoMa - lol(sorry) at your odd admirer. Think maybe you shouldn't go on a date!

Went to cinema this morning to watch HP and TOOTP. Thought I was pushing my luck as it's 138mins long, but he was a very good boy. Squeaked a couple of times but I saw most of the film and heard all of it (had to walk him round a bit at one point). Norks out a couple of times during the film, but they had the desired effect. Wouldn't want to do it every week but good to know that I can if I want.

Best of all G slept for 8 HOURS IN A ROW!!!!

leakyR · 01/08/2007 19:16

Meant to say he slept last night not today. He's never done it before! Was going to say I feel like a new woman but obviously I'm as dizzy as ever!

normabutty · 01/08/2007 19:17

Hey Leaky...yeah looking forward to tomorrow.

JoMa - go out with him...we want to know how bad he is

bumble75 · 01/08/2007 19:19

Octo, so sorry to hear the news about your MIL, thinking of you and your family.

Eca, Liath and GMM - gorgeous photos!!!!

Luce - hope your appliances arrived ok today.

Runny - hope you're getting the help you need, well done for talking about it.

Have had a day today, went to Boots and Mothercare and couldn't get anything I went out to get - grrrrrr. L wouldn't sleep and did two giant poos which took forever to clean up. Am looking forward to a BIG glass of wine once she's in bed.

She has her next lot of jabs tomorrow and I'm going to get her weighed for the first time in 3 weeks - she may be the youngest baby on the thread but I have a feeling she may be the biggest! I shall report back tomorrow...

Hope everyone who was feeling unwell is feeling better.

xx

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 19:54

wow at 8 hours leaky, fantastic!
T can now roll over back to front on the floor
He does it like he's been doing it all his life!

runnyhabbit · 01/08/2007 20:09

leaky - v of you! W can go for about 6 (or 7 if I'm really lucky!)

octo · 01/08/2007 20:32

Am lurking!

Ernie slept for 6 hours in a row last night which is a record.

Saw dh and his family today - so hard for them. Boys cheered them up a bit.

oooggs - thanks for the text - was on way back to Paignton. Will text you if at loose end - have to get food organised for the wake - think will go for Sainsburys platters and add some other bits.

Hope everyone else is okay - thank you for all your lovely comments - really appreciated

zazas · 01/08/2007 20:34

Hello all. Just wanted to say hi and that thanks to joma have caught up on a few things. Octo I am to sorry to hear of your DMIL passing away.

Sorry if I am not too sure how everyone else is.....OK I hope?

All is well in the queen, royal princess baby zazas world We are all continuing to pander to her every need and desire - or so it seems. Having said that I have left her to cry on and off for the last 20 mins in her bed in the hope of getting her to settle herself in it. Monster child has been waking up at least 3 - 4 times a night for the past 10 days. DP and I are like zombies. Me I am feeding like a milking machine and can hardly keep up the food intake I need. I am one that is definitely loosing weight but look like an elephant due to my baggy skin - nice! Are their any breastfed babies out there sleeping through????

However haved worked on a great day time routine which includes a 2 hour nap at midday - not sure why I didn't do routines with the others - bloody marvelous

Had our 4 days in Paris last week which was fantastic. We so needed a break and loved every hedonistic second of it - bliss. S was fanatstic, with the constant walking she just dozed in her stroller so pretty easy really.

Anyway just wanted to say hi - I do enjoy reading what has been going on with you all. Beats reading the news over breakfast

leakyR · 01/08/2007 20:57

Runny no need for I'm quite convinced it won't be a regular thing for quite a while. He did 7 hours 2 weeks ago, but has had 8 or 9 nights since then where he's had at least 5 feeds!

Sexonlegs · 01/08/2007 21:10

Hi ladies

Lovely pics Katy and GMM! So so cute!

Hi Zaza's. Really pleased you enjoyed Paris -lucky lady!

Leaky, glad the cinema visit went well. Brave lady!!

Bumble, good luck with the jabs tomorrow.

Thanks non nork feeders for the info. I think I am going to keep K on 6 ounces 4 times a day and then her bedtime bottle is 7 ounces. She still seems quite small to be taking any more.

Norma, I keep meaning to ask you how Erin's reflux is.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Al ok here. STILL feel pants, and my voice is really croaky now. Sounds good, but is a lot of effort to make myself heard!
Had a lovely day with my parents. Dad and B really had a good bonding time, and they went off swimming whilst mum, K and I went to town. She bought the girls a lovely dress each from Baby Gap! Really lovely.

normabutty · 01/08/2007 21:22

Sorry you're still feeling pants SOL. Erin's reflux seems ok now, so maybe it wasn't reflux after all????? She's still not taking huge amounts of milk but she seems to be growing. Should have her weighed really cos I haven't had it done for ages .

Sexonlegs · 01/08/2007 21:28

Is she still on the Gaviscon? Glad she is better.

Sexonlegs · 01/08/2007 21:28

Is she still on the Gaviscon? Glad she is better.

normabutty · 01/08/2007 21:34

No, she only had to take the gaviscon for one week and she seems to have been ok since.

AngeG · 01/08/2007 21:46

Evening Ladies.

Good to hear from you zazas, glad all going well. Izzy is totally bf and is sleeping 10-12 hours every night and has been for ages.

Octo - Still thinking of you all.

SOL - Sorry you're still feeling crap Glad you had a good day with your parents.

Hello everyone else

Have just been out for a meal with Dh and some friends, it was really nice. Mum and Dad looked after the kids who were both settled and asleep by 8pm
