Hiya,

Octo to hear about MIL

SOL, not sure what weight Harry is since I haven't had him weighed for ages(2nd baby) but he has 5 7oz bottles everyday. Just starting him off on some baby rice but that is just coming straight back out But then it does taste like crap! Think i'll get him something else to try, have some rusks, might give them a go in some milk.

Harry is also teething and is now waking at night, presumably because of the teeth. The only way he settles is with a bottle BUT he doesn't have an extra bottle, just sleeps more in the day Not too bad today though, woke at 5, took his dummy, then woke again at 6.15ish. Needed a bottle to settle, but better than the last week or so when he's needed feeding at 4

We're off to Leeds Castle today. Yipee, something to keep Georgia amused!

MIL wants to have Georgia from 9am tomorrow and is keeping her til sat morning ah bliss, 2 whole days with no one shouting mummmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for no apparant reason (or her latest is mama, darn annoying!)

Right must get on and do picnic, washing, bottles, etc etc before I can actually leave the house, oh and getting us all dressed may be a good idea too

Sexonlegs · 01/08/2007 08:13

Good Morning.

Octo just wanted to add my condolences to your dh, you and family. Really sad news.

Hope everyone is ok and have had good nights.

Maveta, hope Noah's bowels are working again soon - poor lamb.

Still feel rough as s%#@! but am off to parents today, so hopefully will not have to do too much!

See you all later. Enjoy your days in the sun. x

Pinions · 01/08/2007 08:15

Octo about your news.

Great pics everyone!

Liath fab and a very handsome little man too . Eca love the swimming one, haven't braved that as yet too much of a wuss.

How many posts last night ladies?!?

T is now in his cot and is just about waking up and singing to himself. Has anyone found that with bottle feeding they wake up and scream the house down, but with bf they wake up happy? Ds1 (bottle fed)used to roar when he woke up? Just a thought?

Well another fab day here so off the Meanwood Urban Valley farm, wish me luck .

Have a fun day everyone

Can´t think of a thread title Joma it´s too early! My brain is still yawning...

Thanks for that Pesha, it is reassuring to hear others´ stories.. likewise the actual poo doesn´t seem to be a problem but he gets uncomfortable after several days so there´s killer smelly farts and he wibbles more than usual. He´ll be fine, he´s a big strong lad

Luce/Eca - I´m still hanging on to some pre-preg weight and am APPALLED at the idea that I´ll put more on when I stop bf-ing!! Nooooo. But have decided that I need to get to the gym. Might go look at one today actually. That´ll be the exercise for this week

Octo - take care babe, we understand you´ll be busy with dh x

Well N has dozed off for his morning nap so I´m off to do some housework.. blaaaaaaaah.

maveta · 01/08/2007 08:31

something about public norkage?

emmymummy · 01/08/2007 08:35

Octo - so sad to hear your news. Thinking of you and your family.

Weight - yeah, probably have about half a stone to loose too (don't know for sure as I never weigh myself). It is coming off slowly, but is really well glued on around my waist and hips. Am now 40% bfing and 60% ffing and, for me, the weight does seem to come off when I stop bfing (it did last time anyhow). Am eating sensibly and have upped the exercise, so it will come off eventually. Am a size 14 at the mo, compared to normally being a 12, so not too horrendous I guess.

Joma - PMSL reading that guy's email to you. He sounds lovely . You should go on a date with him just out of sympathy (and then obviously report back to us all).

SOL - hope you get looked after today at your parents.

Well, not much going on here today. Em off to holiday club for the day, so it's just me & S today. Am hoping I can get a few essential jobs done today (like giving myself a pedicure ). Also my shitty old IBS seems to have returned, and I don't think I can take anything for it whilst bfing. Ouch.

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 09:10

So sorry to hear you news octo, hope you and dh are as ok as you can be.
eca and liath - love the photos!! liath, you manage to look stylish in the housecoat!
new thread name, I liked

"Nork calling baby, come in baby..."

(courtesy of leaky)

votes for? anyone see that it's offensive?

BigOnion · 01/08/2007 11:02

Aaargh
I have an interview on Monday
(and DH has agreed to take T to baby massage for me )

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 11:35

Just remembered that it was a year ago yesterday or today when T was conceived

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 11:36

Good luck BigOnions

Was it something I said or are you all on MSN

Katy, your suggestion does make me laugh, and I'm not offendeded. But it does also make me feel sad about not having been able to bf. I've stubbornly continued to express but I'm not even getting an amount I can put in a bottle to feed Danny any more, and I'm thinking I have to contact the breast pump agent to arrange the return and try and put the whole experience behind me.

katy again, how lovely to remember so precisely.

BigOnion (?) good luck with the interview.

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 12:07

I did wonder about that, probably not the friendliest thread title Sorry you're having such trouble expressing. Sound like D is really thriving at the moment though!
Will try to think of a good title, but brain a bit empty.
Hope your appliances turn up soon Luce
I think Bigonion said it was a team leader job in the dept she already works in iirc.

thats a good one! i must be the least creative person ever
Am a little worried that GMM hasn't posted (although she said she was driving back up today) as there will be rumours I murdered her and buried her behind halfords.

emmymummy · 01/08/2007 13:18

I think Lucewheel's motivation list should be our next title - i.e. 'fat arse, saggy boobs, no clothes.......'. Or will we offend someone with that?

eca · 01/08/2007 13:42

WHY wont my child be put down today!!!????? Going nuts. Dosed up with calpol and fingers are crossed!
