Well its one year exactly (hopefully ) since I started the first Due April 2007 ante natal thread. How life has changed in that year, for the better on the whole!

It makes me quite nostalgic to be doing this, as it means it is a full year since finding out I was pregnant with Ffion.

I would like to thank all the ladies on the April 2007 thread for all your support, laughter and general madness which has kept me going on many a rubbish day!! You are an amazing bunch of people and I am really pleased to have shared this journey with you all.

Here's to another fun filled year!!!!!!!

Did you get my previous message about possibly meeting at Westonbirt? Do you think your boys would like running about in mud and stuff? Not sure if you saw it and replied as I have been very flakey about getting online for a few weeks...

Ooogs, despite being so close, i've not 'done' North Devon before so am hoping it will be nice! We always seem to end up in Dorset but got the tent thinking might be more inclined to go to new places if camping. Last year ended up going to South Wales 3 times so made concerted effort to book somewhere different!

me too wcl but will have to do with caravan in St Austell - it is when the schools have gone back in September so will probably be lovely weather then!!

Is your DS doing a week long swimming course? DS1 is also booked on one for last week of August, and got DD booked into gym camp too that week (only 2 hours twice that week).

I know Ooogs, plan was summer would be lovely, we would camp and get a break in good weather here and then go away for wk/10 days in October half term, book last minute and get good weather in the med when it is crap here.

Reality is, going to be knee deep in mud, bailing out tent here, then go abroad in October and be brilliant sunshine here and shite weather and storms for first time in 50 years out there. I can see it now!
