EmmyKnackeredMuggle · 21/07/2007 09:52

Oh my goodness, nearly a year since the first due in April 07 thread was started!!!? The date of my LMP was 19th July 2006, where has the year gone? And when am I going to be the same shape and size as I was in July 2006?

CaptainDippy · 21/07/2007 10:11

Madness - can't belive it has been a year - I know P was concieved on Aug 3rd (), but I can't remember when I got my BFP - I remember being & though!! Definitely knew by Aug 24th, our Wedding Anniversary though cos DH took me to my fave Belgian Restuarant & wanted to mussles soooo much & couldn't have them.

Aaaaah, nostalgia .... right best shower & get dressed - busy day today ..... in-laws coming round this AM, lunch, swimming, nursery BBQ .......

mammyjoMcGonagall · 21/07/2007 14:21

Hello! CD, did you get my email? Ellie was going to try and forward it to you. If not, let me know and I will send from another (non hotmail) address.

Have only just been and got my HP book so havent read any yet. I will wait til this evening when children will (hopefully) be in bed and I will get some peace and quiet!!

To those who have started reading it, is it good? Worth the wait?

normabutty · 21/07/2007 14:27

Morning all, have only read the first chapter of the book. Managed to sleep last night and feeling a bit better today - tho i'm still in my pj's

Don't know if I'll get time to come back on later.

Hi Octo! v of massage.

CD - good luck with the in-laws!

Hope everyone has a nice day!

AngeG · 21/07/2007 14:49

Hi all

My book came at 9am this morning...have read the first 2 chapters...think I scared the postman came running down the stairs doing my dressing gown up as I went opened the front door and was so excited I couldn't get my words out

Going to see the film tonight...my mum and dad are having Jake and Izzy hooray I love them to bits!!!

Hope everyone ok and having a good day.

Pesha · 21/07/2007 15:47

Oh my good god - all 3 of my babies have just driven off into the distance with granny and grandad (ILs) to be picked up by daddy when he finishes cricket about 7/8pm so that i can get ready and then go out with the mums from playschool! I will not see my baby til probably about 3am when i will be too drunk to do anything!
So he will be having ff til tomorrow morn when my milk and i have sobered up! Will pump before i go out which dp can give to him and then when i get back drunk which i may make dp drink and see if it is alcoholic milk!
My boobs are normally non leak but they are used to feeding 3 hoursa solid of an evening so will be wearing pads and taking spares when i go out!
Had haircut yesterday at tony and guys again and bought new sexy non nursing bra that fits today so am all set!

Is it too early to start getting ready do you think?!

Bramshott · 21/07/2007 15:54

Have a fantastic time Pesha!!!

Pesha · 21/07/2007 15:54

Actually have to have bath wash/dry/straighten/style hair, get dressed which is bound to involve lots of changes as i try to decide what makes me look least fat, make up, jewellery, paint nails, decide what shoes go with outfit and dont hurt feet too much as ive not really worn heels for a year, pump milk and then walk into town for 7pm possibly stopping to buy pack of 10 fags as several of group are smokers and if i do give in to temptation (have never been out and not smoked except when pg, even when ive given up) I dont want to piss people off by nicking theirs. Should be easier to resisit though with smoking ban. I hope. And have to get money out so bugger need to leave at half 6 latest so probably should go have bath soon.

Im so out of practice!

Pesha · 21/07/2007 15:55

Thank you

eca · 21/07/2007 18:57

eca · 21/07/2007 20:15

Yep all done! Was up until 5am (and blooming T decides to pick the night I'm up to sleep through ) and then dh has looked after T all day, just had him back for feeds! I'm quite a slow reader, but when I want to get a book read I focus! Head feels a bit mushed!

Ok, so Harry....

theleakycauldRon · 21/07/2007 20:22

Hello ladies

I'm not well so I'll keep it short. Blardy ears again, fell over this afternoon so DH sent me to bed when G had his afternoon snooze. Felt so pants that I've only managed 5 chapters of HP LOL at woman in Grandstand at Golf (British Open) reading it this afternoon. Eca v. that you've finished. Don't give the end away!!

Pesha have fab night out.

AngeG enjoy the cinema.

CD-hope Phoebe's service of Thanksgiving is lovely.

Travelling home via DH's 90 year old grandad in Durham tomorrow. I probably won't get on. Have lovely a Sunday everybody

theleakycauldRon · 21/07/2007 20:24

I meant get on MN not get on with grandad. He's lovely (if only I was 50 years older)

geordiemacminx · 21/07/2007 21:13

Hey ladies. Sorry you are feeling rubbish leaky.

Hope you have a great night pesha...dp and I went out last saturday - had a fab time, although was not so great dealing with baby at 5am... luckily grannies were on hand to take him downstairs!!!

Dippy - can you explain the thanksgiving thing to me? Dp and are at loggerheads as what to do for C. I have christian beliefs, although I dont go to church, dp was baptised but in his own words "isnt really arsed" I would feel slightly hyocryitical having C christened, as the chances of us going to church etc are somewhat slim. I also belive that regardless of whether he is christened God will always watch over him IYKWIM? Not really sure on the whole naming cermony thing...dp thinks that is just a guise for a piss up and people to buy presents? Thanks giving sounds very ineresting? Oooops sorry everyone else for that long and boring insight into my religious beliefs!!!

Well I managed to get up at 5 to head to the next sale it was absolutely mobbed - waited in the queue for 50 minutes - for 2 outfits and 3 jumpers for C - cost a grand total of £25... saving £25 not quite sure whether it was worth the hassle but nce I was there I was dam sure I was going to buy something else I never would have lived it down!!

Hope you have a lovely holiday eca.

Oh oooggs did you manage to speak to m&p? If not I was thinking could you not just buy other similar little teddies and attach them?

Right off t watch Jekyl
