Holly - hope GP visit goes OK today (hope your GP is better than mine!)- I didn't realise jaundice could last so long after birth - I'm sure he'll be OK. My LO is on the 9th centile!

Foxy - at DP - hope the truce lasts!

Wonder how Trace is getting on with her LO? Has anyone heard?

loonylovegood · 20/07/2007 09:41

Thanks charlie, we're going at 11, I'm sure it'll be fine. Hope they don't have to take any blood though, it makes me cry when they hurt my baby!

Placed my next order last night, bought loads of stuff for me! Hooray! I pretty much bought everything in my size, if I don't like it I'll take it back!

Thanks for the talking to derlor! I will stop looking at the centile charts! I became completely obsessed with them with alice, so I am determined not to do the same with william!

What a miserable morning! Not only is the weather pants DD is clingy and I can't get anything done . Has taken me over an hour to complete this message!

andiem · 20/07/2007 11:07

we have torrential rain as well jamantha is last day of school as well so no running around for ds

annobal · 20/07/2007 11:09

Morning! What a pants day. Hope everyone slept well. We've just been to the toy library where i picked up monitors for £5 for 6 mths. Any cost saving was obviously offset by the amount of toys i also rented!

daisyandbabybootoo · 20/07/2007 12:53

Gosh, it's been quiet on here this morning.

We don't have the rain yet, but it's definately on its way. At least it's cool now, it has been horribly sticky and humid for the last week or so.

Been reading CLBB.... I think we definately need to adapt it to suit our routine...it doesn't seem to cater for having any other children at all and the possibility that they need/have their own routine as well!

It does seem a bit prescriptive, but we'll give it a go. We have nothing to lose but our chaos!

Holly, I hope things went OK at the docs.

Babyboo a bit unsettled in the night, but DH dealt with her after her feed at 4:00 am, so I got back to sleep. She slept from 9:30 to 3:15 though so we're getting good long stretches of sleep. Just need to push that last feed till a bit later.

loonylovegood · 20/07/2007 12:59

William is fine, gp said he is ok, but if he doesn't pick up soon "we might have to look at supplimenting him with formula" ! I knew she was going to say that!

It's dark and miserable here too ! I want a summer!

Just keep telling yourself that the charts aren't for exclusively bf babies.

I didn't order anything from Next...couldn't be bothered going through it all, but will probably go to a store on Sunday and see what's there.

I'm planning on shifting this weight so don't want to spend too much on the size 16 me. I threw out lots of big clothes before i got pg with babyboo.....wish Id kept them now!

loonylovegood · 20/07/2007 13:32

I'm in 16 jeans atm as well daisy! Hopefully not for too long! I ordered loads of smock tops in a 14 (coz my gigantic norks aren't gonna shrink for a while) and loads of ballerina pumps. I fully intend to only keep the one or two pairs I like best and return the rest (yeah right)! I felt really guilty about spending money on me though, but I think I deserve it!

I hate this weather, it makes me feel really shitty. I've got loads of housework to do, but can't be arsed, it's wank!

daisyandbabybootoo · 20/07/2007 13:44

For fans of (or mums of fans of) In the Night Garden

loonylovegood · 20/07/2007 13:47

You have to follow these instructions to get onto the sale site-

First go here and choose what you want. Then go here between 3.30 and 4pm today. Type in your details and it will come up with and error message. Then go onto my account at the bottom, which will take you into your account, then go onto quickshop and enter the codes of the things you have chosen. They should then come up with the sale price!

daisyandbabybootoo · 20/07/2007 16:05

can't be arsed with this sale nonsense

dm1 · 20/07/2007 16:11

Hey Ladies
Talking clothes - any good suggestions for bf tops.
Have got 2 from Hennes and that's it - I either get smelly wearing the same thing every day or I expose myself in public (gotta get my kicks somewhere), wearing my pre preg stuff!

TALLULAHBELLE · 20/07/2007 16:50

Hi all,
Did quick skim but will come back later & catch up properly. Am still up for RL meetup Daisy & Derlor - can do any day between 9th & 12th if that suits.

Had HV on Wed - DD now 7lb 8 so up 5oz in a week . Told her I was getting concerned as DD been having greeny nappies. HV said to give her water. Am sure this is crap advice esp for b/f baby who has had probs with weight gain. What do you think Derlor? Tried to up her volume of EBM instead & obviously overdid things. She projectile vomited 4 times last night & couldn't settle for hours.

Jamantha · 20/07/2007 17:14

Am really fed up. Rubbish day. DD has graze fed on me all day, snoozing in between but never going down. Had couple of short spells of play and couple of short spells of screaming when i had to go do stuff - ok i did not technically have to eat (but felt bett er for it), but did have to wee. Other than that it's been tv on all day - feel my brain is complete mush and am exhausted though not done anything. Loads to do, very frustrated. Just keep reminding self that nothing is as important than caring for DD, (and hope that it is true)

Jamantha · 20/07/2007 17:15

when and wher is meet up suggested?
