Norma - OK can see you ..I have a pending request from you. Just not sure what I do next .

Hi CD - long time no 'see'!

AngeG · 16/07/2007 12:32

Hello all

CD glad you enjoyed your weekend.

SOKL - Glad you had a good time with your brother.

Lovely photos Elkie and Maveta. Very of being at the beach

Hi twinkle - sorry to hear about your housing trouble...will mod move you somewhere else?

Emmy - diet here too, finding it very difficult though

Eddas hope you have a fantastic day

Emmymummy · 16/07/2007 12:34

Hi Ange - diets are pants!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 16/07/2007 12:40

Hi ladies

Lovely pictures of lovely babies!

We are such second time parents, as we rarely take any of K, whereas with B, dh took millions of photos!

CD, glad you had a good time at the meet up.

Boo hiss to the diets - hope you get the results you want.

Not much going on here. Dh was off at the crack of dawn and won't be back until 9.30, so have the bedtime joy to look forward to. K seems to have a cold - quite snotty (sorry tmi) but not running out iyswim. So, she is a bit grizzly. Has anyone any suggestions on what I can do?
I have been a bit naughty, as have given her 2.5 ml's of Calpol - she will be 3 months on Friday.

Need to go.

Hope everyone is ok. Apologies for no personals.x

Sexonknackeredlegs · 16/07/2007 12:41

She is lying in her bouncy chair bless her, sucking her thumb!

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 12:47

Morning all! Hope everyone is well. Great here as the sun is finally shining!!

SOKL, hope K is ok for you today. Know what you mean about taking photos. We have hundreds of ds but poor F hardly gets a look in!

Can I get on the msn chat too please? I have downloaded the messenger but have no idea what to do next. Would be grateful if someone can give me some help!

AngeG · 16/07/2007 12:55

Hi sokl and mammyjo...one handed typing...sorry

Mammyjo - not really sure what to do next on msn...my brother set it up for me
Have you registered your email address?

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 12:56

Have just skimmed through misdees thread. It is so very sad Makes me realise just how lucky I am to have a healthy family. Cant even imagine what misdee must be going through right now. Love to her and her family xx

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 12:57

Hi Ange. I have registered my email address I think, but have absolutely no idea how to have a conversation with anyone!!

AngeG · 16/07/2007 12:57

I've just skimmed it as well MJ...it's so sad.

AngeG · 16/07/2007 12:58

Is it the same email as on our list?

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 13:17

Yes it is. Have just had a message from you! I have said yes for you to contact me, so what do I do after that? Total dunce when it comes to things like this!! Am sure my ds will be able to give me lessons in a few years time!

EmmyMuggle · 16/07/2007 13:30

Hurrah, have somehow got onto MSN. Do I just start adding people's email addresses now? Think I need to get my brother over - he is a wonder with all things technical!

JoMa · 16/07/2007 13:53

ok, add my email
kirkbyellen
hotmail.com

then i'll talk you thru it!

JoMa · 16/07/2007 13:57

I am here loitering, I'm ok, just being typically female! by which i mean that Homestart are coming in tomorrow to see me so I'm cleaning before they get here!

EmmyMuggle · 16/07/2007 14:05

hi Ellie, not ignoring you, just waiting for tree people to arrive & trying to feed S. Have added yr email & will speak to you later about the technicalities of msn.

JoMa · 16/07/2007 14:11

oh my good god. have just seen this thread

and absolutley [shocked]

oooggswartsexpress · 16/07/2007 14:34

gobbed smacked at the thread ellie

JoMa · 16/07/2007 14:36

I was only coming online for a short while as I MUST do housework, but have got drawn into reading it. Just cannot believe someone would seriously leave a prem baby like that. or any baby for that matter.

oooggswartsexpress · 16/07/2007 14:41

I couldn't leave ds1 for that, never mind the dts. We are also a family and do things like that together (well going away from the house albeit in a caravan)

oooggswartsexpress · 16/07/2007 14:43

diet......... maybe a good idea, think I am still eating the extra 1000 calories I was told to when I was bfing dt's

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 14:48

I am def eating much more than I should! Have consumed a lot of choc today. Havent had any for a fortnight but I think I have more than made up for it!

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 14:52

Just had a look at that thread. I know people have their reasons, but I could never leave my baby in SCBU and go on holiday. Agree with you oooggs, we do that sort of thing as a family too. Each to their own I suppose

geordiemacminx · 16/07/2007 15:17

Hey ladies - just popping in and out as I am trying to be a good housewifey type thing today and actually make the place look like a home as opposed to a natural disaster zone...

Read the thread about mozhe leaving her baby.... hmmm each to their own I suppose??

We had our first night out on Saturday without the baby.. mum came up and looked after C, so dp and I went to the races then into town... I had expressed just incase... good job too as I ended up geting rather drunk.... ended up on the old karokee

Pleased you had a nice time on your travels last weeke Joma.

Twinkle - sounds like nightmare, will it just be a temp move?

Just been making a shepards pie... C likes mash potato what a bad mammy I am...

mammyjoMcGonagall · 16/07/2007 15:35

Just a quick question. Who has started to wean their lo's? F will be 16 weeks on Wednesday. She is still exclusively breast fed but is starting to wake more frequently for feeds overnight. I am taking this to mean she maybe needs a bit more in the way of calories so am toying with the idea of giving her some solids.
