normabutty · 15/07/2007 22:50

and I fill these with powder here and just tip in when i need a bottle!

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 15/07/2007 22:51

ds still likes it warmed though so we always make up the bottles and keep them in the fridge, i know hv's etc suggest other wise, but dd was ok when we did it for her. Can't see what's changed in 3 years!! Plus i'm off out for the day tomorrow leaving dc's with SIL so she needs them made up. Don't want to take the P. She's having them all day as it is

AND it was dh that didn't want to do the not adding formula thing

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 15/07/2007 22:53

i have a sectioned one of those from mothercare to take with me on long days out. Great piece of kit, lol!

normabutty · 15/07/2007 22:54

lol...ah well if that's how ds likes it tis a different matter. Luckily Erin will have it any way it comes . And I def don't care what the HVs think...that's how i used to do them too. Have seen the summary of the research it was based on and looks a pile of crap tbh.

normabutty · 15/07/2007 22:55

I didn't get on with the sectioned one...couldn't get all the formula out of it but saw someone at mother & baby group with the TT ones.

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 15/07/2007 22:56

I do struggle. May well invest in some of those ones. Do they sell them in the shops? or just online?

elkiedee · 16/07/2007 00:18

I've added some more pics of Danny with various family

elkiedee · 16/07/2007 00:18

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 16/07/2007 07:22

very cute pics Elkie.

Getting excited now, I love travelling to London, how sads that! Don't get to do it often. In fact I rarely leave my town so it's like a little adventure, lol.

Hope everyone has a good day. Weathers pants here, hope it's better where you are

Will try and get on later, but I htink i'll be out til 10-11 tonight. Such a long day but I'm sure it'll be worth it to see my brother pick up has little bit of paper

Katy44 · 16/07/2007 07:43

Hope it goes well Eddas, enjoy it x

Katy44 · 16/07/2007 07:46

Lovely pictures elkie, I really like the 'talk to the hand' one (with his Uncle Gareth) and the last one, very playful!
Not had much sleep here, the day started at 6am.
I' sure I used to be able to get up then and not feel so awful, suppose the difference is I used to relax with a coffee, not leap into action dangling bits of plastic and muticoloured hedgehogs over a play mat.

maveta · 16/07/2007 07:48

Eddas have a fab day!

Elkie, love the photos, he´s so gorgeous! Have updated my profile with a couple of photos from the beach..

Had a really busy weekend visiting people and rushing here and there so am really glad it´s monday and dh has gone off to work so N and I can get back into our very relaxed week day routine. Dh and I are both pretty restless people and like to be on the go but dh to an exaggerated degree sometimes! N is sleeping just now, hoping he will wake up to feed and more or less go back to sleep so I can enjoy the peace a bit longer. Bad mummy! Shouldn´t really because he´s already such an angel, still sleeping from about 10pm til 5am most nights so I feel it´s greedy to ask for more

Off to check on him...

Oooh Mammyjo, I tried your muffins and they were so easy and yummy yummy! cheers

twinkle183 · 16/07/2007 09:56

Hi ya guys - sorry I haven't been posting at all lately, am finding it really hard to find any time to myself!!! Lots going on since the birth of Evelyn or though I have to say she is off to a great start - is currently weighing in at 12lbs and is sleeping from 11 - 6 which is great for a breastfed baby - well so I am told!

Am currently living in a nightmare situation at the moment, am being advised by the MOD to move cos of a 30ft hole has opened up on the estate we are living apparantly its a mine thats opened up - the bad thing about it is that its opened up within the play park and trying to tell ds that the park is out of action is proving difficult!! So am on the move but don't know where or when which is really frustating and this has now been going on for three months!!! I am sorry to moan at you guys but just needed to get it off my chest!

Thanks for all the pics of the babies that I have received they are just gorgeous! Will send some more of Evelyn and Dominic at some point...

Hope everyone is well!

Take care twinkle

normabutty · 16/07/2007 10:03

@ mine Twinkle. Hope you get sorted soon.

Lovely pics Maveta & Elkie

Have a nice day NHN, those TT things can be bought in mothercare.

Erin making groany noises ...think she might be trying to poo.

Am with DH but don't want to rant about it so I'll leave it at that.

normabutty · 16/07/2007 11:37

where is everyone????

Emmymummy · 16/07/2007 11:45

Hi Norma - it has been very quiet lately hasn't it? Is everyone on MSN now? Have downloaded MSN but don't have a clue what to do next...some stupid thin woman keeps talking to me but I haven't the patience to listen .

Twinkle - blimey at mine. Is the MOD paying for you to move house? very scarey indeed.

Maveta - lovely photos. Am very of you going in the lovely warm sea, and the fact that you're looking rather slim! I feel like hopping on a plane and joining you out there .

Another ho-hum day here in all respects. Weather pants, no plans for the day (apart from a tree surgeon coming round to quote for some work this afternoon). S is currently asleep in her cot - she's been a bit odd over the last day, refusing feeds and not really knowing what she wants, so if she chooses to sleep that's fine by me.

Can't even relieve the hum-drum-ness of the day by eating something nice as I really am on a diet .

normabutty · 16/07/2007 11:46

EM - if you tell me the email address you signed up to MSN with I'll add you to my contacts...

Emmymummy · 16/07/2007 11:50

OK I think I've done it as claire dot markday at ntlworld dot com. Not sure if I've doen it right though...I'm a bit crap at computers!

elkiedee · 16/07/2007 11:58

Thanks Eddas for making my photo link into a proper hyperlink. Hope you had a good day, a obviously you will be back if you get to read this.

Maveta, your son looks beautiful (as do the beach and the mummy).

Twinkle, I'm sorry to hear about your housing situation, it sounds unbearable. Is someone meant to be helping you find somewhere else to stay/live or is it all down to you? And poor Dominic.

Nutty, sorry to hear you're angry, hope you and dh sort it out. Email - username @ yahoo.co.uk - if you want to talk about it (I did start downloading msn but didn't have time to work it out and am not totally sure how to even log in again), I'm in all day though have health visitor and father due to come round this afternoon.

normabutty · 16/07/2007 12:05

EM - have tried to add you...have you had a message from me??? will show as hazeldover 81...

If you haven't then the email addy you've put below must be wrong!

CaptainDippy · 16/07/2007 12:08

Right, 1 handed typing with wobbly baby on my knee, so can't write much. DD1 asleep in garden in pram & DD2 sleeping in cot. Had super w/e @ meet-up, saw lovely peeps & their LO's, tiring, but lots of fun!

Lovely pics from maveta, Elkie, octo & emmy - wow to S' strength em!

octo - please update on your mil when you know more, praying for her & your friend who lost the baby.

I'm tired, but good!
