Hiya

for mouse clearing, but with you on the once a month housework plan

DD was dry last night (hurrah) but its a battle convincing her not to wear pull ups... I think they are making her sore (she shrieks when you try to wash her), and the unenclosedness should help, but its hard work!

Tired Stupid f*ckin shop is sending emails all wrong, and when I tried to fix it it sent the same one several times, and then wiped my apology one and just put the same message in!!!
Off to ask thems in charge what's wrong now.

DD had a party today and she told me to leave her there - and at the same time.

New pics on my profile - ooh and aah and be nice

Hello

I didn't get the problem emails, but I got the dodgy apology one, and the proper one

Pics are lovely. When did your ds get to be so grown up looking? I notice it so much more with everyone elses babies (because I go so long between seeing them, I know)

that sounds like my kind of school fete.

I am going out this evening with mums from school for a (24th!) birthday. My mate suggested the birthday girl invite her mum but was told she is too old....she is 5 years older than most of us. No wonder I'm feeling ancient at the moment

Will probably pop on here first thing, but if not, see you tomorrow mrm (and csws'?)

Phoenix · 23/06/2007 19:20

Hello i keep coming on to read but not posting much as my parents pc is upstairs and i don't want to sit up there all alone on a night when i can sit in the room with the patio doors open drinking lager (its like been on holiday )

Like the hair Jas. Which dye did you use?

Kel for your divorce if there's nothing there it's for the best.

Another great round up Flame and the new pics are lovely. Your dd is very pretty and ds is so cute

Chloe have fun without dh. Hope you're gonna make him do his own washing when he comes home from Glastonbury it looks like a mud bath on the news that i've seen. Have you re-dyed your hair?

Dame at us all not replying to your brain scan post. I hope it's all ok. I've had 2 funny turns like you described. With me i had blurred vision in one eye, 1 hand and arm had pins and needles/numbness and i felt like i was gonna pass out. NHS Direct sent me to A&E the first time it happened but they found nothing wrong and the second time i was pregnant and got sent for monitoring, by NHS walk in centre, and my BP was sky high but touch wood it hasn't happened since.

MRM i'm sure if you persevere ds1 will soon get used to not having a dummy although it'll be tough til he does.

Friz, no i haven't seen Smiley for ages.

Hello to anyone i've missed.

Our bedroom ceiling is been done Weds and Thurs then it will need to dry out and get painted so hopefully by this time next week we should be back home . The attic will be finished on Monday as there is only skirting board and door to put on now then it needs decorating which we're not in a rush to do just yet. And our roof should be finished too early next week weather permitting. So i can stop moaning then

very long post for me

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 20:46

I think I'd rather have the odd mouse than daily slugs .
You jammy cow for all those prizes out of £2!

Ooh, ahh, nice pics flame .

Hope the night out is good Jas. Yes, intend to see you tomorrow. 11am at Clown Town, yes?

lol at holidaying at your parents pg! Glad that there's an end in sight to all of your building woes.

Well in-laws were actually helpful today, which was great. House is now tidier (note, I haven't actually said tidy). Dd seemed to have a great day all round, which is always good. I think I might have found the cause (as well as her cold) of her night waking/screaming the last few days - very very very hard bit of bottom back gum, so I think there's another molar on the way. Talk about getting your teeth in an odd order!

Right, finally got round to taking a pic of the drawers (don't all faint at once ), so will just transfer it from camera...

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 20:53

Drawers. Any takers?

Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 20:56

they are almost identical to the ones in my bedroom!!!

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 20:57

Has MrCSWS been rubbing down your drawers too ?

ChasingSquirrels · 23/06/2007 20:58

yuk at dead mice and slugs.
yay at fete and prizes, we went to the carnival in the next village but not much good and spent £6 on 2 rides each for the boys .
glad the roof is getting sorted.

Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 20:58

Damn... you rumbled the reason for him wanting me on the Friday night

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 21:04

Now now, there's no need to get all smutty you two; I'm shocked and offended

Er, ME ME ME ME pleeaseee for drawers Is that nice enough asking? I just looked at the photo though and realised I have no idea on the size; even the bits and bobs dont help judge... not that kind of brain, obviously Thats assuming Jas doesnt want them more than she wants my pine ones? I'm not very up to date on drawer etiquette. (Jas, if you do want mine, would you like one or both sets? You're very welcome to both as long as dh can fit what he needs in csws's drawers, ooo-err).

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 21:09

Now who's being smutty?!
Size is about this big and this high . Does that help . Guess there's no point in bringing them tomorrow, unless you plan on carrying them on your back , so we'll have to sort out a day to bring them down. Can discuss tomorrow. (Pretty sure Jas wanted pine).

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 21:11

My cold is streaming btw. Can I have some sympathy please?

mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 21:19

I can swop you the drawers for a lemsip Have you been dancing naked in rainstorms or something?

Just shown dh the photo with no comment from me, and his first reaction was 'how much?' then 'ooo, solid, really nice, could be action man size though'

Well, you can bring it when you like as long as i'm in Seems a bit daft as you'll be so close tomorrow though. You could potentially drop it off here, pick up the pine and do a dodgy deal in the car park with Jas The only prob is then that it'd take you less than 10 mins to get from here to there, but it'd take me about 35 mins (optimistically)on the bus with ds1 walking to the bus stop, so I'd be much later than you. Not that its a problem, except the 2 hr timings wouldnt correspond. But it'd be you lot leaving before me, so not my problem And incase you offered/thought of it, and on the rare chance I accepted a favour, you couldnt give us a lift down, as I couldnt maange buggy/2 kids/2 carseats on the bus home

Er, am I rambling now?

Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 21:20

pmsl @ this!

I thought it was Pippa with the cold!!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 21:22

Yes - rambling.

Told my friend your expiry date favour theory - she thinks you're nuts too

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 21:25

I've just looked at your photos

csws, you'd love it... found a slug on my clean washing that was drying on the radiator. Followed the silver trail along ds1's black trousers and undies, found slug still attached to a bib

Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 21:27

You should see my front door - 10 snails on or around it atm!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 21:28

Just realised what the is for for my pics.... he's been lurking there for a while

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 21:31

Ah, I did mean your kids are lovely too

Going to show him to dh now, and see what he says, seeing as we're on a roll with unprompted comments tonight. He's currently trying to fit a wooden farm set back in a box. Been at it ages. Actuaaly just said'.. look, if I can putthe pig in this one, then I can get these in here....'

Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 21:32

lmao

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 23/06/2007 21:33

The kids tend to only warrant a rather than a

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 21:34

'look'
'Have I seen him before?'
'Have you?'
'Whats he do? is he an actor? Oh no, he carves pumpkins. Thats worse than my job, isnt it?'

But then...
'look, there's ds in ds2's stripey shirt'
'Ah! cute' (in a geniunely impressed tone of voice)

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 21:34

Pippa and I both have colds!!!!

You're making it sound far too complicated for tomorrow! Perhaps I'll see what time we're sorted in the morning, as if we did drop off at yours first, we could always do some shopping in Tesco so that we all arrived at CT together at 11. Does Tesco open at 10 though, or 11? Will go look it up.

ChasingSquirrels · 23/06/2007 21:35

flame, your kids are beautiful.

mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 21:36

That one opens at 10. Definintely. We once tried to go to the Hendon one after toddler gym, only to find it opened at 11, so came all the way back to our one just to go in the cafe for brekkie !
