mustrunmore · 22/06/2007 20:50

11am is fine with us, and it would be lovely for the csws tribe to come

You'll be delighted to know that I've just done a Tesco order to come on Tuesday... we'll have food again!!!

mustrunmore · 22/06/2007 20:52

csws, is Knebworth train station anywhere remotely near Knebworth House? Or would that just be too good and too logical? Just thinknig about the long long long summer hols

KelBelle · 22/06/2007 21:12

I'm bored!!

Now meeting my friend on Sunday, DH has LO so whole day at his

So any of you got any wine? I might go get some if you want to join me!!

Jas · 22/06/2007 21:15

Jas · 22/06/2007 21:18

KelBelle · 22/06/2007 21:28

Flame I drink more now DH has left than ever before. Not every night but a few times a week whereas I never did before really.

KelBelle · 22/06/2007 21:29

I didnt tell you all I went out last Sat night with a mate and got really drunk, ended up meeting my "friend" in pub and snogging him for most of the evening and then I threw up the next morning and felt awlful!! I still cant handle my drink even though I drink more!!!

ChasingSquirrels · 22/06/2007 21:33

Jas - nice hair, Kel - good on sat for date, why did i think csws was up north? mrm - yay on food and shoes.

ChasingSquirrels · 22/06/2007 21:34

sun for date, not sat.

Jas · 22/06/2007 21:34

The time to worry is when you throw up on your mate!

I can't drink at all these days. I'm almost dreading going out tomorrow night. If I have more than 2 drinks , I'm drunk, and I suffer the next day.

Jas · 22/06/2007 21:35

Thankyou cs

ChasingSquirrels · 22/06/2007 21:37

i used to do mine auburn when I was about 15, really need to colour it now - to disguise the grey

KelBelle · 22/06/2007 21:37

Yep Jas that's me - 2 drinks and I'm anyones!!!!!!

Chloe55 · 22/06/2007 21:50

I drink every night - most nights just a glass but I always have one. Had a few tonight though becaue I too am bored ....and lonely

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/06/2007 21:59

No alcohol here, but only because it rarely even occurs to me to have some. Very tired after a busy but fun day, so a bit late to even bother now.

Can I just check whether anyone else on here is watching BB this year, before I rant about the dreadful choice of evictee by the great british public.

DH says Knebworth House not walking distance to station, but if you can put up with me tagging along, I could pick you up and drive you from one to t'other (I think we're going to buy a spare car seat, so you'd only need to bring one for ds1). What's at Knebworth House anyway?

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 07:24

Morning. In-laws coming to take dd out this morning (first time ever) but weather is crap, so not sure where to suggest they go!

Up early again, despite madly busy day yest and only short nap.

Cough this morning to go with cold.

Jas · 23/06/2007 07:33

Morning

poorly dd, csws. Are you going to do anything while you are baby free today csws?

ds is also runny nosed and sounding rattly. Up at 6 again.

DD1 and I are going out on our bikes for a bit this morning, and then dp will be working on our neighbours roof, so I will take them all out if it isn't too bad weather.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 08:21

Housework . Trying to get it semi-straight before Christening, and this is our only free weekend to do it.

Happy cycling .

mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 08:54

You're doing housework and expecting to keep it in that state for a month?

Knebworth is lovely. You can pay for just the gardens, as there's nothing for kids in the house itself. Last time I went was when ds1 was prob about 22/23 months, and it was great for him. Mini railway, one ride included in entrance fee. Big wooden play area fort thing, smaller play area, huge expanses of lawn to run on, dinosaur trail with dodgy fibre glass models, formal gardens, cafe. Mind you, its a big trek from the fort to the dinos; you can apparently jump on a bus thing, or move your car. But the people I was wiht decided we'd walk. Fine on the way, not so good on the way back when ds1 was shattered and I was shattered and pg, and had to lug him all the way back to the car Oh, and Noddy is there for 3 days in August

Ok, so the initial success of the no-dummy has worn off. Another night of not sleeping till 10pm. Its so draining. He was ok sitting in bed reading for a bit, but then he was 'bored of being asleep'.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/06/2007 13:47

You mean you do housework more than once a month .
The kind of housework that involves removing dead (rather old ) mice from the cupboard under the stairs, thinning out the coat rack by putting winter coats upstairs and shoving a load of stuff in the loft lasts a month, yes.

Also had to make lunch (homemade pizzas) for everyone whilst they were out, but they are now staying to help entertain her/do jobs (but that will be more hassle than it's worth) this afternoon.

Could you tell ds1 that he needs to sleep so that the poor babies who have his dummies can catch his sleep vibes, or something like that?

mustrunmore · 23/06/2007 17:41

Our winter coats are the same as the summer ones, apart from the boys, and they grow out of them seasonally, so they're not left around In fact, we had 2 years of me and dh sharing the same coat once!! Dont ask!

No mice here anymore, but I deslug the kitchen on a daily basis.

School fair day..... spent £2 total on tickets for adult and kids tombolas.... ds1 won a dinosaur model kit and a Bratz doll, I won a bottle of wine and a big bottle of malt whisky
