MRM eeeewwwwwwwwwyyyyyyyuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkk the things they do! Great you got the option of a nap this am though

Flame, I'll check with dh which day he fancies then, am thinking Wed afternoon may be better as we'll be on our way thru to Poole that evening anway (depending on if we need/can go back and ditch kids with the GP's or not) would that be ok with you? should we come to your's or meet out somewhere?

Hey girls, its nearly piss up night at CSWS's am missing random glasses of wine this week, just cause I can't drink cause of this damn tooth and the drugs.....

Jas, have fun out with Brownies, anywhere good?

Chloe at the malting Cat, I do not miss that!

Dame, get a mooncup they're great! for the poorly ds though.....

Zoo was fun today, managed to avoid the rain, it started as we left about 3.15ish, so both dd's agreed that the giraffes were the best thing, although dd1 is now sporting a cuddly hangy monkey in pink! dd2 was offered a toy of her choice, but as she only wanted the really expensive elephant, she didn't get anything I did offer the next size down animal, but she was having none of it! My lovely friend also paid for us to go in today, which is why my little un's got a choice of toy at the end, so Huge thanks to her if she's reading this

Dh is running late tonight though.... he's been stuck for over an hour in traffic trying to get to the M1 in Warcks......and its another hour n half to get to his van from there, then another 3/4 of an hour home....so lord knows when I'll see him today?

Do I getlongest waffle of the week title??

Jas · 05/07/2007 18:59

Wee is probably beter to drink than London rainwater

We're going to Cadburyworld on Saturday Not sure if that is good or not tbh.

Still haven't told dp about the piss up

2boysmacca · 05/07/2007 19:06

You've been busy again today!

Ds2 decided to have a nap in the buggy this morning at 9am for half an hour then refused his sleep this afternoon. By 3.30 he was very tired and grumpy and by 6.30 they were both in bed.

Another session at the gym this afternoon and I'm not sure how my little (large) legs actually managed to do the routine PT has given me. My legs are back to feeling like lead!!!

Dh has missed his train so he'll be another hour. I was having a night off the vino tonight but thought sod it, I'll watch the news and glug!

I'm hoping the interest rises will fall again in the New Year when I need to re-fix my mortgage. Is tehre anything on tv tonight worth watching? I cannot believe I have to wish the next 12 months away for the next series of Dr Who. Anybody watch it on Saturday, was all very very clever. The writer is a pure genius! Who'd have guessed the face of Bo was...... just thought, maybe someone has recorded and yet to view.

I ahve a BBQ on Saturday, after the school fair. Ds has an obstacle race. I really hope the rain holds off [hopeful look]

2boysmacca · 05/07/2007 19:08

You've probably guessed I'm unable to attend. I got my dates mixed up and double booked. Plus, dh frowned every time I mentioned it. Not that I usually take any notice of him, I would just be rather pissed with him if he decided to go out all night on a Saturday.

Where is cadbury World Jas, I thought it was in York or is that something else?

mustrunmore · 05/07/2007 19:22

Thats the Yorvik Centre

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/07/2007 19:47

Cadbury World is Bourneville (Birmingham).

Am up to date with Dr Who, but wasn't that enamoured with the last episodes (did like the Face of Bo bit). Is it really a whole year til we get another series then?

Yuk for wee drinking!

Glad the zoo was good fun Friz. Rain didn't start til late afternoon here either.

I cycled to the playground today, with dd in her seat on the back, as my helmet finally arrived (ordered months ago!). Was great on the way there - only took 8 or 9 mins, but was mostly uphill on the way back (for whoever it was who remembered it, it is half way up that bloody enormous hill!), so took about 15. Hopefully as I get fitter it will get easier! Didn't stay there all that long as dd was tantrumming that she couldn't play in a garden nearby that had toys in!

Gotta go - dd out of bath so need to go feed.

Jas · 05/07/2007 20:12

Christmas special of Dr Who (with Kylie Just discovered I can't spell her last name)) then spring for the next series.

Yes, coach to B'ham on Saturday ( and even worse, all the way home with 30 small girls who will all have stuffed themselves with chocolate)

Yay for cycling. Ds' seat is still in the boot of the car

Phoenix · 05/07/2007 20:37

Minogue

Jas · 05/07/2007 20:38

I definitely had all the right letters in it, just couldn't get them in the right order

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/07/2007 20:46

flame/mrm

Phoenix · 05/07/2007 20:50

Right i've read and am all caught up.

It's so weird holding a teeny baby. She weighs 6lb now at 4 week old. Lewis was born weighing 9lb 2oz. She's sooooooo gorgeous i want another

Dame/chloe def get a mooncup.

Friz/chloe Wot r we doing re the piss up? Going together, going separate? I'm working on that day til 1pm. i might try get the day off but it'll be school hols so that option may be difficult.

Friz - Which Zoo? Glad you had a good day. I love the zoo can't wait to take Lew when he's actually interested in looking at the animals. We always go to Chester Zoo.

Got visions of mrm trying bras on in the middle of the picnic

Dame - for Scarlet fever hope he gets well soon.

Well Royal Mail are striking again next Friday and its not my day off this time so i'll be losing a days pay, just what i need

I picked Lew up from my mums today and she said to him "show mummy where your nose is" and he pointed straight to it. I'm happy he's learning things obv but i feel a bit that its my mum he does things for while i'm at work iykwim.

Phoenix · 05/07/2007 20:51

I get shouted at for showing Flame pirate things

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/07/2007 20:55

Ah, it's like water off a duck's back to me Phoenix - I can always shout back louder .

Phoenix · 05/07/2007 20:59
Grin
Phoenix · 05/07/2007 21:05

Right i'm off to watch Katie and Peter The Baby Diaries now be back later probably.

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2007 21:09

Nah you can't - even Kipper laughs at your stern voice He wouldn't fit in those pjs until he's at least 12 anyway

MRM - you can take the bras home, try em on then give em away/bring them back to me the weekend after... don't have to try AT picnic!!

Forgotten everything else I was going to say - wiped out, goin to relax!

Jas · 05/07/2007 21:12

I saw two small boys in black raincoats covered in skull and crossbones today. I can't find pictures, but if I see them again I will ask where they got them. dd1 and I would wear them if we could

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2007 21:16

Frizbe - Weds is fine This place will still be straight by then (or it had better be!!) so you can come here if you want, or we can go somewhere - mid term so soft play places won't be packed. We're meeting Peachy earlier in the week, so DH will be well practiced!!

Cheeky git said "You're popular all of a sudden" when I told him we were meeting her too!! Pointed out to him that I always have been, snot my fault that you all live in the computer!!!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 05/07/2007 21:21

Funnily enough Flame, I did think I could bid, then pass them on to you a year after ds21 has grown out of them

Jas, did I tell you what we saw? Ds1 pointed it out, and I soooo wanted to buy it! Imagine a me-size black zip up (like hoodie). 2 zips down each side of the chest which open to reveal white ribs motif. Plus.... hood is full face and head, zips up to the top, leaving just 2 eyeholes, with a skull motif all over Thought it'd be great for running in the rain

Also saw lots of little punk and goth clothes for the boys, but extortionate. And some ac/dc , Led Zepp etc t-shirts...thick material, but £20

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2007 21:25

That sounds soooo freaky!!!

(I like the sound of you buying the pjs and passing on though )

OP posts:
Frizbe · 05/07/2007 21:28

and a very nice computer it is too like his mates don't live their either
Ok the Wed it is you'd better mail me directions to yours or to soft play, I'll let you decide where is best?

Phoenix/Chloe I have to be in Brum on the Sunday, so I'll come down to CSWS's in dh's cronky van white van woman! and then go straight to BIL's in Brum from there.

Jas, I think you'll find Cadbury world ok, its more for Brownie aged kids than toddlers, and the chocolate kinda helps its not the best day out in the world, but not the worst by far. My mate lives just round the corner from the factory! (student territory)even though she's just qualified as a proper Dr now!!

Frizbe · 05/07/2007 21:29

H&M have some great pirate stuff in at the moment!

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2007 21:30

H&M is where I got the pirate top in my pics

OP posts:
Frizbe · 05/07/2007 21:31

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2007 21:33
