Whats up Jas?

ds1 went to sleep at 8.05pm last night Its a miracle He's allowed to watch a bit of telly today as a reward; he's had 3 days with it banned, and its killing me, let alone him! He's got a proper single duvet on there now; chose his own covers yesterday, so perhaps he just fell asleep through overheating!

God, top 10. Dont know! But you know what I like anyway csws!

2boysmacca · 02/07/2007 12:44

Arghhhh my freezer has started to defrost. Anybody want 3 loaves of bread, 5 naans, 2 potato waffles, mini milks, frubee's, lasagne pasta... fortunately none of the meat or meals I froze last week started to defrost, PHEW!

I'm full of cold which means I can't smell if ds2 has pooped, his bottom is rather raw! Sometimes he comes and tells me but the last few dys he ahsn't bothered

Shit, it's raining again, better go and put the buggy away....arghhhhhh

2boysmacca · 02/07/2007 12:47

I know I wasn't supposed to snigger at your comment Jas, but I thought I was the only that could get annoyed at dh breathing. I can also get very annoyed at him chewing due to his jaw cracking, when i'm in a foul mood too

Jas · 02/07/2007 12:54

dp always gets hiccups when he eats curry which brings out unreasonable amounts of aggression, too.

I'll have your bread - I had to borrow four slices to make packed lunches this morning, as dp ate it all in the night. Still haven't got any more and we've got people coming round after school for tea so I'll have to go to the shop before I collect dd2 at 3.

I am feeling better now I have the house to myself, and have spent a morning cooking. I find it quite relaxing
I think I'm just a miserable old bag/ have pmt at the moment, nothing new has happened.

Yay for sleeping boy mrm

Frizbe · 02/07/2007 13:12

boo for the PMT Jas

Phoenix yay for moving home photos?

CSWS how was the hovercraft experience? I have no clue as to my top ten

CS at races, was it good? did you win?

Flame, that's a funny thread

Kel, did he fetch ds??? certainly odd not to hear from him all week? dh has always phoned his son from age 1 every two days, when his ex wife let him, (she had a phase of not letting him?) but now ss phones him every day!! (has own phone now)

Hope the rest of you had good weekends?

We enjoyed Yorkshire, saw the sea on Saturday, and did a quick go on the arcades, then went to friends and drank lots of wine and the kids played happily. Dd2 got over excited though and got up at 11pm and didn't go back to sleep until about 2.30am, when she passed out on the bed between me and dh then we all had a lovely walk through the fields yesterday, before lunch and heading home, just as a huge thunderstorm descended so a good one here.

Frizbe · 02/07/2007 13:13

Oh Jas my dad gets hiccups with certain foods!

and have toothache, trying to get thru to the dentist at the mo.....

KelBelle · 02/07/2007 13:17

Hello,

Yes he came to get DS at 9am yesterday but he didnt text or phone at all before hand. I had him all ready for him though. DS was hyper when he came home and was up til 11pm last night!!!! He is napping now, we went to baby group this morning.

Man came to do heating survey this morning and I am going to have to lose a cupboard in the kitchen to fit it in which means my kitchen will look worse than it does already - I'm starting to wonder if it is all worth it!! Going to speak to my brother later on and see if he can come round and help me out as I dont have a clue.

Frizbe · 02/07/2007 13:19

Hmmm is that to fit the boiler in then Kel?

Hurrah for me anyway, off to dentist now, emergency surgery think I may be in for a filling........

Jas · 02/07/2007 14:04

Hope the dentist is ok Frizbe.
Glad you had a good weekend.

Is there no other option re the boiler, Kel? (Mine is in my airing cupboard in the bathroom)

Does your soon-to-be-XH think he is making things easier for you/ds by not being in touch???? Sometimes they do seem to get things totally backwards. (Agree it is all a man-thing, too)

Flamesparrow · 02/07/2007 14:22

I don't know if any of you knew Hillls its not good news

OP posts:
KelBelle · 02/07/2007 14:34

I didnt know Hills but that is really sad

Yes it's for boiler fitting, they said it has to go in the kitchen as that is where all the pipes are already. The existing one is in a bottom cupboard but they cant put it there for some reason.

Dont know what's going on with ExDH to be honest, I found out yesterday from a friend he is apparantly living back with his parents but he hasnt told me this. Not sure what he thinks I will do - perhaps he thinks I will go round and cause trouble or something which I wouldnt.

Frizbe · 02/07/2007 17:22

Kel, so if they're taking the old one out of the bottom cupboard, you should gain that one back then? guessing they're putting it where the pipeing is easiest?

Dentist ok ta, have drugs! will have to go and get another perscription on friday, as they can't get me in for another 2.5wks to drill out the old filling (stuff seeping in behind it apparently it has a minute hole ) and chuck in a new one.

mustrunmore · 02/07/2007 17:55

Going to be back on here later properly, but just felt the need to say... oi Flame you cheeky mare, stop following me to other threads and being cheeky. You know which one I mean

Flamesparrow · 02/07/2007 18:05

It was high up on the "threads I'm on" so I could see it at a glance!!

Forgotten - what norkage bra were you after?

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 02/07/2007 18:20

Flamesparrow · 02/07/2007 18:39

Phoenix · 02/07/2007 20:11

the insurance have rung us we can go get some quotes for a new carpet, bedding and curtains then they'll send us a cheque out. The rough quote the assessor has given is £280.

Don't worry Friz you're all gonna see photo's wether you like it or not. I've got before and during ones now i just need to decorate for the after ones .

My dh's jaw cracks when he chews too, most annoying.

Very sad re hillary. Am i right in thinking she had loads of pushchairs or am i getting mixed up?

2boysmacca · 02/07/2007 20:13

good news pg although I don't think I'd even manage curtains on that budget!

2boysmacca · 02/07/2007 20:14

Just reread that, hope that didn't sound rude

Phoenix · 02/07/2007 20:15

It's fine for us we only buy cheap stuff

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/07/2007 20:36

Evening all. Good stuff on the insurance pg.

I only spoke to Hillary once, and it wasn't very friendly, but still very sorry to read of her demise. Hope that her dc are well looked after.

Yay for Lex sleeping at a sensible time. How'd he do tonight?

for dentist. Does it make you realise why teething is such a pain?!

I had same thought as Friz Kel - won't you gain a bottom cupboard to make up for the top one?

Massage woman coming tonight, so will be offline for a bit.

New series of Britain's Next Top Model starts tonight, 9pm, Living TV - might as well get hooked right at the beginning eh flame?

Jas · 02/07/2007 20:41

Also sad to hear of Hillls' death. I never spoke to her, but have read lots of her posts in the past.

No living tv here now the Sky has gone. Please don't discuss a programme I can't watch

Yay for new carpets etc.

mustrunmore · 02/07/2007 20:44

Quite right too! Jas did comment on my stair carpet... each step has a 25p sample piece on it, all different colours Was thinking of trying to get enough to do the front room. Anything would be better than the existing carpet.
Mind you, money is a touchy subjact, as we worked out last night that (taking into account what we're usually overdrawn by each month, and how much my account has decreased since stopping work), we're actually short of about £110 a month We're going to scrimp more, but god knows how we can save that much! I guess its no food out (ie always butties with us), very limited soft play (cant deprive them totally), and eating more mash and beans! Having said that, this month we need to buy train tickets to see my Mum in August, ferry to auntie and a bit of money/pressie for her, and spends while we're there (thats our hol; sorry Flame, we've abandoned the idea of a family holiday as we cant do both, so not coming your way. Dh will miss out, but at least the boys will get a couple of days by the seaside). And that thing on 15th (that we stood you up for , csws!), we have to pay for our own meals. Oh well.

And its torrential here; really dont fancy running in it Might just get all other jobs done tonight, so at least there's nothing hanging over my head and I can run all week then.

mustrunmore · 02/07/2007 20:47

After all that, I forgot to say yes please to basque thing I'll try it and see anyway, prob will be ok. BTW, we've got another pirate do on 17th, so the costumes will be ressurrected!

Csws, what did you say to Hills that wasnt friendly?

HE WENT TO BED IN 5 MINS FLAT AT 7.30 PM!!!!!! Think it was because I've given him my purple bed canopy thingthat dh bought me years ago, and he loves it!

Phoenix · 02/07/2007 20:47

Oh btw csws i'm watching bb. I've watched them all I'm just watching last nights before tonights comes on (we sky+ it cos we were watching The Diana concert) that Billi went on Friday
