Sorry cs.... ds1 is 3.6, fairly dinky though in comparison to others that age, and ds2's predicted growth!

2boysmacca · 29/06/2007 21:57

We have concord lift evo for ds1 and britax isofix for ds2. We did buy a great seat in France which we keep there that looks more like a booster seat but is for younger ages too. Cost about £35.00. Ds was in it at about 19 months, purchased in an emergency opposite A&E. I will get another of those for ds2 to keep out there next time we go. Not much help for you though.....

ChasingSquirrels · 29/06/2007 21:59

just looked on Which? for you but they dont have any FP ones.

Jas · 29/06/2007 22:00

Your baby didn't seem unusually big last week. (sorry if I insulted him before but he seemed much bigger at the London Eye) He's probably the same size as my ds now.

Is the Argos 34.99 one rubbish? I was thinking of getting it for the Boy.

Hope the wine is making you feel better CSWS.

I'm sooooo tired tonight, managed to do my weekly shop at Sainsburys and got back at 8.30pm, put DS to bed straight away and had a shower as my hair was really greasy for some reason, I have to wash it every other day but I was surprised how bad it lookd today. I am feeling a bit run down with the divorce etc so that could be why.

Going to log off shortly and try and get some sleep tonight, will be on tomorrow though.

mustrunmore · 29/06/2007 22:03

Yeah, he is , but now he has non moving hair [hm] The argos one is fine, just not very comfy for long journeyswhen he falls asleep. I've been very happy with them, just thought that if we were getting ones for up north, might aswell get something a little better for here and leave them there. Maybe I'm just spending money needlessly? They do show up the weee and poo and sick stains easily though, even after a wash!

mustrunmore · 29/06/2007 22:04

ds1 still awake. now crying that heonly wants to sleep in a tent, and it has to be a real one not a toy...

Jas · 29/06/2007 22:07

My friends ds has an Ikea bed tent...would that help?

DDs have only just gone quiet. They were downstairs moaning at 9.15 because a neighbours dd (younger than dd2) is outside playing, and why won't I let them go out and its so unfair, and I'm really mean At least dp backs me up on this one.

2boysmacca · 29/06/2007 22:08

and the prize for the stupidist dh goes to......?

I asked dh earlier to empty the washing machine and put it in the tumbledryer, but DO NOT put all the clothes in the dryer as they won't all dry. I've just gone to check on my gym kit and he didn't put all the washing in the dryer, he took out.....1 shirt!!! ONE frigging shirt. In the dryer were 4 pairs of kids jeans, 4 towels, a week supply of mens shirts plus a handful of other clothing. Needless to say, they have been on for over an hour and they are no nearer to being dry as they were when they went in.. I mean, what sort of prat is he? I have just called him down to ask where the communication went wrong and he said...actually it's not worth going into. The man's an idiot!!

Rant over. Off to bed to sulk!

KelBelle · 29/06/2007 22:11

Macca

mustrunmore · 29/06/2007 22:11

Jas, he used to have the Step 2 car bed and ws terrified of sleepimg in it, which is why we got him a normal bed, but now he sleeps under this one, and he also used to sleep in the cloth wendy house when it was in his room, rather than the car bed. So who konws??!!
We get that with the boys next door too, with ds1 being worried that they're up at nighttime!

Jas · 29/06/2007 22:14

macca. He does it deliberately so we can all laugh at him

I remember the wendy house sleeping now, mrm. Put a tent in the garden?

lol @ Lex - he's priceless!

mustrunmore · 30/06/2007 09:51

Hmm, isnt he? Today he asked 'Is Kipper being prisoned this day?' (we were talking about christening last night).

Flamesparrow · 30/06/2007 10:31

Aww @ being prisoned!!

No hangover, just a cold! Just what I need for the house blitzing weekend - and to top it off I have to go out for a meal with my dad tomorrow, but be back in time to be the other side of town for a ballet show

we're back home

The house is a mess but we've got a bed in our room (and a ceiling) and we can get to lewis' cot so we thought it was better to come back home now my parents are back from their hols. We just need to decorate now and get sorted. We're waiting for the insurance to get back to us about our bedroom carpet, someone came out to look at it last Tuesday and from speaking to the insurance yesterday we think we're getting a new one but just waiting to hear if they're sending a cheque or sending a company out to do it for us.

The attic is all done but again it needs decorating and a carpet so we can't put stuff up there so there's still alot of stuff piled into Lew's room but we can get to his cot and drawers so he should be fine. Just glad to be home although not looking forward to decorating.

I'll stop rambling now and i promise i won't moan about the state of my bedroom, roof or attic anymore now they're all done

I'll be on later if anyone's about

Flamesparrow · 30/06/2007 16:54

Yay!!

Spent the day sorting the kitchen and the mountain of clothes - mountain only half conquered.... a huge pile still to sort, and masses to divide up to go to new homes.
