2boysmacca · 20/06/2007 20:49

Found you!

Flamesparrow · 20/06/2007 20:52

How did our babies become real people?!!?!

2boysmacca · 20/06/2007 20:55

Awwww cute!

Chloe55 · 20/06/2007 20:58

Ha ha, yes sorry that would help wouldn't it Macca!! No it's fine Flame, I think most people I know in RL would know exactly who I was if they came on here anyway!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/06/2007 22:12

A 7 hour drive followed by building tents in the rain? My idea of hell!!!

Is mrm avoiding the thread because she's scared about me tagging along on her day out tomorrow?!

Flamesparrow · 20/06/2007 22:13

I was wondering where she was too!

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:21

Ha, funnily enough I'm here Obviuosly I'm avoiding you. bUt it might also have hasd something to do with ds1 going up to bed at 7.15 but not being asleep till 9.05, in a very traumatic way. He's such a drama queen. I'm knackered! So I've been popping on and off here whilst doing buttie boxes, making birthday cards, ironing, tidying up, and rescuing one of our parasol from halfway up the grass, where the typhoon blew it earlier! Got a bit caught up reading threads that are interesting, but I have absolutely no worthy contribution for!
Tomorrow, it'd be very nice to see you I'm going sans buggy (seeing as we all seem to be using that word alot now, thought I would too). But bear in mind I have no real scheduled time of arrival other than prob between 11.30 and 12.30, and will be doing alot of catch-up gossip with aforementioned friend as its been a while becuse her phone line's been down Oh, and I'm navigating Why dont you give me a ring if you fancy it?Or even to see if i'm there?!

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:22

Oh, and also I'm not really here because I tell you too much, dont I? Must work on having a shorter possible summary on the next round up...

Phoenix · 20/06/2007 22:28

This is getting way beyond pissing me off now (yeah i'm whingeing about my roof again)

The roofers have re done our dorma window flat roof today, it was holding loads of water and that's why we've been getting leaks from it, but instead of sweeping the water off first they've somehow let all the water come into the attic which came straight through our bedroom light fitting again almost instantly. We thought that was it but oh nooooooooooooo dh rang me about 18.20 and said we had a balloon of water on our bedroom ceiling and it was dripping and now a great crack has appeared accross our ceiling too

I just want it finished nooooooooooooow

Whinge over.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/06/2007 22:30

Well then I think I'll go to toddlers as usual, and see what the weather's doing/what sleep Pippa wants/needs, and then drop you a text or give you a call to say if I'm likely to come or not/find out if you're still there or not.
Are we both suitably vague?

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:31

Methinks a quick call to Watchdog might be on the cards! oh well, Flame'll be happy that your summary will be short this time; only one topic

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/06/2007 22:31

Do you know anyone who's used these guys before pg?

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:33

It'll be torrential, obviously, just to ruin ds2's day of attention and no ds1 How long does it take you to get there? I'm thinknig we'd be there till about 3 or 4, based on the time she usually likes to drive home from here.

Phoenix · 20/06/2007 22:35

No, our joiner recommended them but he says he won't bother again cos they're delaying him too. They don't turn up most days til 11am

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/06/2007 22:35

About 25 mins for me I reckon. Is she driving you, or are you on public transport?

Frizbe · 20/06/2007 22:37

7 hrs, that's a long time to Glasto, did he have to get one of their buses?? I hear the green tickets have to use their buses to get in this year? enjoy your time without him Chloe

Flame great roundup, dh has read it and a discussion of me slagging him off online has ensued!! I assured him the thread isn't all one sided, I do say nice things about him occasionally and that he can join Mr CSWS on here anytime he likes to put forward his views

Phoenix, Glad you caught the rain.

Dame how crap are we all, how did it go?

CSWS like the gown, the white layer one right?

Hello to everyone else! do I post too much stuff then

MRM did you get the dvd? if not warning I sent it recorded, so you may be needed to sign (sorry didn't think about it till I got home, you'll be cursing me for having to fetch it I bet )

So fun day here dd2 4 hrs of screaming, including round Ikea, cause no being one to do things by halves, she's managing to teeth 4 molars at once, lovely, not

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/06/2007 22:37

So he's used them before then? Will one of them be able to fix your ceiling (at no extra cost, obviously)?

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:38

She's driving us, as its so much quicker for her to come the extra bit by car than for me to get the bus and meet her there I do feel guilty though,as I detest having favours like that. I like to be self sufficient, so I can keep a favour a year for a real emergency.

Frizbe · 20/06/2007 22:39

Phoenix, for you re your roof and celing not what you need at all, why are jobs never simple? can't believe you lot posted about 15 posts while I was writing one.

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:40

Sorry Friz, forgot to say that it came today thanks! Dh is working at the weekend, so he'll cpoy it at work if its not protected, and I'll return it asap (incase I dmamge it!!!)Er, might need your full address though; dont think it was on the jiffy bag, ws it? Has Flame got it?
I was going to watch a bit tonight, but ds1 put a stop to that (and the bum sex thread!) Id say though, that the pic of the flabby belly on the back cover isnt even half as bad as mine

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/06/2007 22:41

Oh yes, that's right - I forget that favours are limited to one a year .

Ouch for the teething Friz.

Phoenix · 20/06/2007 22:42

They're his friends. The roofers and the joiner are working separately so we can't expect the joiner to do it for free but we are thinking of putting a complaint in and getting some money knocked off but don't know where we'd stand because our dorma window was knackered before although not leaking as much as it has been since they started messing iykwim.

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:42

Thata because you write so much Frizbe

How much was that dress csws? Saw the pics but no prices? Its very pretty. Not that I know much about dressing girls!

mustrunmore · 20/06/2007 22:44

Favours are limited becaue Inever seem to have anything to offer people in return, and I feel really bed about that.None of my friends need a babysitter because they have family close to them, they all have cars so can get stuff easily, they dont seem to have problems that I could help with! I know friendship isnt about bartering and owing, but I dont like it to be one sided!

Frizbe · 20/06/2007 22:44

Hmmm chances are they may say hazard of the job, previous leakage though, still you never know until you speak to them eh

MRM the tummy exercises on it are great and you don't feel like your doing too much either, really worked with dd1, but to be honest I've not bothered with it much with dd2, as gym insead. I should have your email now, from the roundup so will mail ya!

Chloe, will see if I can load you up to my facebook then!
