Hi Beadmum! Glad you enjoyed your break.
DS has lots of little people and he loves them. He is 2 though, but he's had them since about 18 months.
LOL at 'moo' for all the animals!!!

Off to the pub now for a quick pint in the sun. Sorry girls!!!

well i'm not sure if i got our good dates right this month how can i fail to count properly!!!! so we'll see!

jacob starts yelling at about this time every day and a bit of teething gel sorts him out. we have dinner at around 615ish and it seems to be suiting him at the moment.

am really trying hard to stay on that wagon and resist the dark side this week! only tonight to go - presume it's ok with you all if the week ends on friday evening???? bit of a cop out though i know

Annie - must try harder next week eh? - great name btw

Lysettes - I also conceived Josh 2 weeks after the ovulation tests were positive so I guess that would have been day 28 of my cycle (had my cycle not been all over the place due to just coming off the pill) - so anything is possible. How exciting....am also a little bit

First - Josh isn't actually that good with his beaker - just caught him in a particular 'competent' moment

Jane - good to have you back. IIRC Koshka thought you and Evie might have been in a magazine (Practial Parenting?) - was it you??

Sohappy/Bloss - hope your time away is fab - once the packing is sorted, you will enjoy it.

KZ - is Roshi better today?

Well, Josh can now clap on command aswell - we just say clap and off he goes.

Bit peed off at my boss today - got to work and there was an e-mail about some interviews she wanted me to do - on a Tuesday and Wednesday. I don't work Tuesdays but the e-mail was worded (without being direct) to see if I was prepared to come in on that Tuesday - as if!! I still don't think she has got her head round the part-time thing - ah well, feel better I have got that off my chest.

Have a good evening all - and whoever it was that asked, Friday evenings do count as the weekend so vino blanco for me tomorrow - yummy x

Glad roshi is feeling better.

I'm def on the mend, but still struggling to think properly. Finding the number of posts overwhelming too!

My love to all - I will have to spend some time catching up with what has been going on when my head is clear

Well done Kayzed - mammoth task to attempt! Best days for me are Tuesdays and Fridays, but I have some flexibility, can always take a day off.

Annie - I was there in the virtual beer garden with you

Wallace - hope you feel better soon

Re ideas for pressies, Emma?s fave toy at the moment is one of those wooden boxes with the shape blocks that you post back through the shaped holes, £10 from ELC so a bargain! The little pointy bricks are a bit of bugger though as they spread themselves around the living room ready to be trod on But worth it as they keep her occupied for ages.

Hi everyone, I'm afraid I'm well behind with everyones news but I do think of you all.

I don't know where the time goes, days are flying by.

Z is sleeping terribly a whopping 3 and a half hours sleep for me last night. He seems to be permanently ill and we are backwards and forwards to the docs every week.

The surgery nurse knows I was a nursery nurse and she actually said "are you worrying about Cystic?" cue lots of tears from me.
It had actually crossed my mind briefly but hadn't seriously entertained the idea.
She said "if it is it's a mild case, I don't think it is but it needs ruling out".
So we have another appointment to go back and the docs are going to prescribe steroids to try and clear Zack's chest.

On a happier note things with DP are much better. Fingers crossed. He was up with me until 1am settling Z.

We are going on holiday in a few weeks, Aquitaine, SW France. I'm really looking forward to it. The break will be great for me.

Zack has taken his first couple of steps this week! So so proud of the little monkey and I don't think he could quite believe it either!

I think I'd better be off, I need to get myself ready and pack a bag for Zack, we're off to my sisters today. I was quite tempted to stay here but I know she really needs me by the end of the week.

I will try to better keeping up with you all

TheGoddessBlossom · 25/05/2007 06:57

Us - what can i say..

WELL DONE for being there for your sister

WELL DONE for working at things with DH

WELL DONE for being such a brilliant mum to Zack

WELL DONE ZACK for being such a clever boy!!!!!!!!!

You certainly do deserve a break away, try not to worry abour cystic until you know MUCh more, as she said it is worth ruling it out, that's all.

Big hugs to you.

xxxxx

numptysmummy · 25/05/2007 08:04

Well done Zack!!! Look out now! Ella can stand but she has no confidence. She hasn't fallen badly or anything, always sits down in a controlled stylie. Ds2 walked at 10 mths - didn't look right,he was soooo titchy.
Haven't started the ads yet, gonna wait til this wkend so dh about to help.
Oh and baby news (not me) my dss in law has had a little boy - 1st 1,9lb!!! I can't get away from babies at the moment!

Ceebee74 · 25/05/2007 08:31

Us - what a clever boy Zack is Better to get cystic ruled out - try not to worry (easier said than done I know) and hope your sis is ok.

Numpty - big congrats to your ssil - although I did read the weight as 1 stone 1 at first - nearly fell off my chair

KZ - Warwick castle sounds good to me. I don't work Mondays or Tuesdays so they would be the best days for me - but quite happy to take time off work if it is later on in the week (we might make a little mini-break of it) - so even if it is somewhere further south, that would be ok. Thanks so much for organising it - must be a mammoth task! Glad Roshi is on the mend and eating well again.

Well, work beckons so should go and do some I guess. Have good days all x

Morning girls.

US, more big hugs from me to you. WOW, at Zack walking!! He's the first off the blocks isn't he girls?! Amazing! Hope the suspected CF turns out to be nothing, I'm sure it will. Glad things have improved with DH too.

KZ, you may as well cross me off that list, sorry, but I know I'll hum and haw and not turn up in the end (like the mini one). I work four days and like to spend the rest with DH even though he moans all the time and farts a lot. Sorry! So if it's all organised and I can persuade DH to drive, then I can always hop on again, but don't plan around me (Centre of Universe emoticon)

Numpty, WOW! at Ella standing too!! Kayley did climb up me this morning and let go for a second, but wobbled straight over. She may stand soon I think. Congrats to you dssil!!
Babies babies everywhere!!!

First, that was a lovely pint wasn't it!! The babies were a bit boisterous though, but hey, can't have it both ways!
Got home and cooked a scrummy dinner, homemade pesto with spagetti and chicken roulades with sage SCRUM!! And another beer!!! Shhh! Don't tell the girls!

WELL DONE LYSETTE! You are now off the hook, it is Friday!! Get guzzling!! But not too much you have your embryos to think of!!

Well girls, the boss is away so Annie will play... Might just be skiving off early today. Time to do whatever it is I do...

Have a good day girls!

Annie
