jeanie - gorgeous pics of abbey

lysette - not so knowing your holiday is with il's, dont know if i could cope with that, good luck sure you'll have a great time if you learn to ignore them

annie & numpty - grinding teeth sounds horrible

numpty - yippee for ella saying 'mama' charlotte did say it a few weeks ago but think shes forgotten and just says 'dada' all the time now

hc & kz - hope the heads clear soon (((hugs)))

kz - roshi's hair is lovely and straight so id go for bangs, also its more hassle to tie hair up everyday. Have that usual struggle but have no choice with charlottes hair as her hair is longer on top but shorter at back from when she was younger her hair all rubbed away at the back when sleeping so now its grown back its much shorter than the rest looks fine when tied up tho, bless her

impy - dont be paranoid, didnt think anything of it

bloss - sounds great having all these people around, great for the kids having family so close

SleepIsForTheWeak · 07/06/2007 21:53

I bought this great thing for Sefton's cot - it is like a chair bag, but with loads of different size pockets, to take different toys. When he wakes up he takes his toys out and plays with them for quite a while. He also sits there and reads his book! So sweet.

Have taken a place at nursery for 2 days a week starting next week - a big move, but I think he will benefit from it, and I can start looking for work properly.

I have no family here that helps out either, but great friends and neighbours.

Sorry, a bit of a random posting, feeling distracted tonight...

Have just taken another prescription migraine tablet-just want to go to bed but SIL still here. DH & BIL not back from squash yet and they are bound to want a coffee when they get in.

kayzed-1 migraine a month is bad enough but have had 1 every week for the last 4 weeks. Started getting migraines monthly at 19-am 38 in October. A long, long time.

Jeanie-Abbey is a pretty girl and her hair is just gorgeous.

Am watching BB so waiting for the Emily thing to kick off.

awwwwww, Beadmum, Charlotte is soooooooooo cute!!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwww.....cherubic is right KZ, only word for her.

Just broke my duck on eBay and listed our swinging crib.

KZ - Toby potters about fine in his cot when he wakes up. Singing and practicing standing up, he doesn't want anything. It's just that I hear him even in the next room, and that's it, I can't get back to sleep!! Mainly cos I am waiting for that dreaded creeeeeak of Harry's door to open, which it does about 5.50am at the moment, Toby is pretty much ban gon 5.11am... I "broke" Toby of his 5am milk a while back, thinking it would be the same as H at that age and he would stop waking up and sleep trhough till 7am. But even though he doesn't want milk he seems to still wake up! Will put a few more toys in though, am liking the thing Sleep has bought for Sefton's cot, where did you get it lovey??

Picnic in the park today for a friends' baby's first birthday! They are all starting now aren't they! Her baby is called Toby too.

Toby is turning into a mischievious little monkey. WILL NOT stop eating the soil in the plant pots, throws a huge tanty if you take anything off him and is generally making up for being let's face it, not much work so far.....hmm, knew it couldn't last. At least he still sleeps at this time of day so I get on MN and have a shower - and do the irnoning - and sell on eBay - and make phonecalls - etc etc etc. H is absorbed in Fifi and the Flowertots, his absolute fave.......

Morning girls

Rough night last night again. DS woke screaming, and only wanted Dada (as usual) but I went in to try and break the cycle, he pushed me away, so I just talked to him calmly and he kept screaming. DH eventually came in and took over, but not before telling me to 'stop trying to do things by the book' and shouting at me for leaving him to cry for so long. I had picked him up and cuddled him, but nothing I did worked, he wouldn't take water or anything from me.
DH then took him to the living room and got him water, and I think even watched a bit of Peppa Pig! At 3am! Well on his own back be it. Kayley woke about three times too.
Nothing was said this morning, but I am still holding a grudge... (against DH, not DS!) Hmmm...

HC, hope that headache of yours is gone by now. Sounds awful. And hope AF is behaving herself. Mine arrived last night, and so far no leaks...

KZ, Roshi is so adorable! What a character!
Hope your head is better too.

Bloss, enjoy that picnic. Hope your gorgeous monkey behaves!! LOL at throwing tantys! Kayley is the same when you take something off her, like my mobile or wet wipes, or when you sit her down after walking her around for seven hours holding her hands...

Beadmum, Charlotte is adorable too!!! So grown up looking!

Impy THREE days to go!!!!!

Lysette how's the shagging going?

Hi to everyone else,
have a good day

Annie

jacobandlysette · 08/06/2007 13:57

very well thanks annie fingers crossed we get lucky this month! dh said this morning "i'd really like us to get pregnant soon but we must stay laid back and not worry if it doesn't happen" - yes yes yes - he's the one that will worry more if it's delayed!

bloss hope the picnic goes well.

kz roshi is just so grown up looking and gorgeous too! am very at how grown up they all look compared to my little man who still seems happiest rolling around on his back sucking his thumb through a muslin...

swim class went well again today - he loves swimming underwater and without me holding him as well (only under the water though). and he never yells when the instructor takes him off me unlike all the other ones in the class.

party preparations are coming on well - we are now at 22 adults and 14 kids. my test bacon and egg pie was a hit with DH who pronounced it as good as any he's had in NZ [proud cook emoticon] - just got to perfect my pavlovas!

anyway, must get going and try and do some more packing

Lysette, fingers crossed for you (but not legs . Have fun!!! When you have two, you won't have time to make sweet love anymore... so enjoy it now!!! (well we don't, I'm sure others do!!)
Swimming sounds fun. Soon as I get round to de-fuzzing, we must go.
I don't envy you your party! That's a lot of people!!! Good Luck!!

ImpyChica · 08/06/2007 14:37

Annie at your DH. It must have been the tiredness talking. I'm sure he couldn't have meant to be so rude. Poor you {{{{hugs}}}} (And thanks for the count-down... two-and-a-half days to go now!)

Lysette - is the party for Jacob's b-day? Sounds v impressive. I've just invited a few peeps to the park and was thinking of cooking a carrot cake as my piece de resistance! (probably just end up with crisps and ice cream mind...)

Poor HC, hope you feel better soon. I saw the headline of the article KZ sent and couldn't bear to read it!

Feeling for your credit card, Pretty - sounds like it's taking quite a battering! Agree you should change your pill - don't suffer in silence.

Bead - Charlotte is gorgeous as is Roshi, KZ - she looks full of character!

Ryan is having a rare afternoon nap - do I join him in the land of slumber or enjoy the luxury of surfing in the afternoon?..... hmmm! Stinking hot here but rain forecast for the weekend - typical. Not sure how I'm going to cope stuck indoors on my own with a little hooligan.... got a mate coming around tomorrow pm to watch Ry so that I can go and get my legs waxed in time for DPs arrival!!! (Will DP be preening himself for me? I doubt it!)

HumphreysCorner · 08/06/2007 14:50

Pouring with rain-again

TheGoddessBlossom · 08/06/2007 15:37

well it is BOILING here, although now turning a bit muggy so looks like thunder tonight. Our picnic was soooo nice, all my friends and their kids, took a great photo of them all sitting angelically on the bench will post it later. The kids had an absolute ball it was a great park/playground, like a meadow with fun stuff in, on a truly gorge Hampshire Summers Day, the sort of setting the Yanks go crazy for, small village, thatched cottages etc. H hasn't slept and is slumped in front of Peppa Pig, and Toby is in bed. Just time to hang out the washing before I get him up.

TheGoddessBlossom · 08/06/2007 15:38

....and I think you have all got it a bit wrong...I DON'T cope with getting up that early. it's KILLING me. I hate hate hate it, and am grumpy and resentful and fed up until I can open my eyes properly have a shower and get a suitable caffeine intake. Grrrr.

(Then I'm fine....)
