Prettymum

Bloss-what cute pics. Isn't Lily sweet and they look so happy to be playing together.

Ceebee-do you think Josh has a bug or something to make him sick. Sophie seems to have grown out of her sickness (thank the Lord!)

I am still watching BB-tis an annual ritual. Emily has been booted out due to racist remarks

Day 3 of the migraine-am going to try and insist the Dr puts me back on Immigran as Almogran is just not as effective. They wanted me to try it and I have done for a year so I think that is long enough.

Had better get on as have a million cards to write. So, so many B'Days and anniversaries and Father's Day in June-doh!

Have a good day y'all.

reckon there's something in it as well HC! hope the migraines get better too.

ceebee poor josh - hope he gets better soon!

jacob has shown no more signs of crawling - only towards the dvd camera at great speed

kz roshi is gorgeous and what wonderful coloured eyes!

pretty i too panicked i had loads to catch up on - glad it was enter and not delete though!

jacob is currently playing with the curtains - they are the ones where the lining is not attached to the curtains at the bottom and he is wriggling around in them getting hidden - the loud squealing is a dead giveaway to where he is though

toby looks adorable! and the spots aren't too bad either - mostly look to be where he can't reach to scratch them?

anyway, must go and have some lunch - we are off to thailand in a couple of weeks and a friend has recommended taking the ellas kitchen instead of plum superfoods as they are easier to pack - trying them out on jacob this week to see if he likes them!

see you all later

here they are

jacobandlysette · 07/06/2007 13:10

gorgeous pics jeannie!

all the los look so much older than jacob

numptysmummy · 07/06/2007 13:14

JeanieG - vvv of her hair! Ella has no more than when she was born. I have a theory tho that curls take longer to grow so am consoling myself with that. Prob not true but live in hope. (Dh curly, other 3 lo's poker straight).
Am still having very little sleep with Ella. Don't understand why she has got so much worse. Needs her own room but we have got so much else to do. Thought she might get better as she got more mobile. Still got a sore bum but no other signs of more teeth. She's dancing at the mo - v funny, she looks at me with a really serious face and nods her head to the music!

Jeanie - Abbey is lovely and agree with the others - what gorgeous hair and she does look so grown up. There is no way Josh would stick his tongue out like that.

HC - I don't think Josh has a sickness bug - he has had a persistent cough ever since he started nursery and it seems to be the coughing fits that cause him to retch and vomit - so he has been like this on and off since February. Just thought we had seen the last of it but apparently not His cough hasn't been too bad over the last couple of weeks which might explain why he hasn't been sick...but it seems to have come back again hence the vomiting presumably. Ah well, back to chasing him round the room with a plastic bowl to catch it in

I am doing an Annie today - still bored at work and nothing to do....

numptysmummy · 07/06/2007 14:14

Tee hee! You know what i mean

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 07/06/2007 14:36

Hi Girls,

Day off, so I guess Ceebee, you're doing my work today!! Hope Josh is feeling better by the way.
Babies both still stuffed with snot, but are now both sleeping, so see how long that lasts.

Lovely Abbey and Lovely Toby [Aww]

Lysette, Thailand! Lucky you! Thai green and red curries all round... Mmmm.
Pretty, I think I would die if I went off Thai curries. LOVE them! Maybe you should come round and I'll make you one and convert you back!! LOL at Junior and his typing skills!!!

HC Let us know if you try any of the methods!! Hope that migraine is gone.

Beadmum, curry was yum thank you!! Made a right mess in the kitchen though. Piddley little kitchen that it is. Charlotte saying 'ta' is so cute!!!!

RIght well, K's awake....

agalch · 07/06/2007 14:48

Afternoon all!!

The sun is shining here yeehah!! Have chucked Dd1 and my two mindees out in the garden to play and i can keep an eye on them while i MN. Bliss

Eilidh is crawling around here in the playroom emptying all the books/dvd's/toys.Hmm had forgotten how hard it is when they are into everything. She still has no teeth.Am starting to think she might never have any lol.

Will stop bfing when she wants to give it up.She goes down for naps and at night awake so i don't have the problem of feeding to sleep this time so will be happy to carry on.I did feed ds2 and dd1 till they were nearly 3 and nearly 2 respectivly and i do like the co-sleeping bfing thingy.

Don't know why but i do fancy bonking much more nowadays.Dh reckons since i have lost weigh i am more confident and happier in myself so maybe it's that.Haven't done the 2nd sperm sample so really should be careful but hey i am sure he's firing blanks now anyway

KZ hope you don't mind if i ask you a huge favour??? If i email you a pic would you post it for me? I am sooo crap at it and i have a great pic of Eilidh with her pig tails. I would understand tho if you'd rather not honestly.

Off to slimming class tonight. Not been great this week so expect i will have put on.

Better go,mindee has just thumped dd1 and ww1 is about to commence.

have a good day all xx

jacobandlysette · 07/06/2007 14:49

thanks your girls but remember it's with the ILs.... cue lots of arguments with FIL who thinks i am completely incapable and tries to transmit all his fears and anxieties onto ds

ceebee it might be secondary reflux - that's what jacob sufered with and it was due to a cough and chesty smokerish sounding thing for months - from feb actually as well - they are twinnies aren't they

EVERYone's awake now...

Kayley has started grinding her teeth since she got more than one. It's a horrible sound.

numptysmummy · 07/06/2007 16:06

Ella does that too - horrid isn't it? She said mamma for the first time today! She has been saying dada for ages and something that is meant to be good dog whenever she sees them

Lordy kayzed-massive sympathies to you. Shite, shite, shite. Take it easy. DH kindly invited SIL round for tea and I wanted a quiet night in while he goes and plays squash with BIL. They still haven't come home so tea could be at midnight at this rate. So inconsiderate!

Ceebee74 · 07/06/2007 19:35

KZ - hope you feel much better soon

HC - grrrr at your DH - they just never think do they?

Lysette - I think I remember you mentioning this secondary reflux thing before and I did wonder then if that was what it was. Has Jacob's cleared up now? How spooky - they really are like twinnies aren't they??

Josh hasn't been sick at nursery today so that is a positive sign - but I really have seen enough vomit these last 10 months to last me a lifetime

Ooh - he also walked at nursery using a walker - that I missed it but, then again, as we don't have a walker for him, not likely to happen at home is it? Can anyone tell me how quickly they go from walking pushing a walker to walking by themselves? MIL wants to buy him one for his birthday but that is 5 weeks away and I think that might be too late...am I right?

I suddenly had cold-shivers-down spine paranoia earlier today when I remembered what I posted last night.... hope no-one was offended by the pimp reference! I realised I've been out of the UK for too long and hanging around Americans loads - so forgot how it could be mis-construed.... doh!

Thanks for all your support re. DP. Couldn't have managed these three weeks without you guys! Just need to make it through tomorrow and the weekend without having to take the boy to A&E.....

I thought Ry's bad sleeping habits were down to him missing his Dad - interesting that lots of you are going through it too.... hmmm... some kind of developmental stage?

Fab pix KZ - Roshi is a beaut! And loving the Toby and his cousin pix - he's already one for the ladies, Bloss! Abbey has wicked hair Jeanie - and she looks like a right little monkey!

Sorry about the migraines HC and KZ - nightmare.

Tee hee Pretty! Junior sounds like a techno-freak like Ryan! Can't keep him away from the laptop, wires, sockets, remote controls etc etc....!

Hi to everyone else. My bed is beckoning and it's only 9pm.... single mothers need a bloomin' medal, I tell ya!

jacobandlysette · 07/06/2007 20:13

KZ def go with bangs! at poker straight

jacob never had reflux - we were advised by our paed that it can be linked to a viral infection - you never know. might be worth getting it checked out. it just cleared on his own with his last lot of antibiotics. saying that he did a big vomit tonight but he was shoving a spoon down his throat and making himself gag

kz i quite like with the plum that there is a real distinction between sweet and savoury and the only ella's i've come across are quite sweet - even the pumpkin sweet potato apple and blueberry - it's kind of both together iykwim? will probably take a mixture of the two and see how we go - he does like the ella's kitchen though!

impy don't be paranoid! he should be earning his keep by now

hc and kz hope the headaches get better soon and sorry to everyone i've missed out! it's not deliberate

keep forgetting you're in Yooorup Impy, had to check the clock then when you said it was 9pm, i was like "What! Bedtime already for me? Can't be....Far too busy drinking red wine...." I get sooooo tired by about 4pm, then the kids go to bed at about 6.30ish and I think ooooh, how blissful, I can quaff wine, paint my nails, talk with DH, watch telly, it's so tempting to stay up to all hours....

KZ, those pictures of Roshi are divine. She is such a cutie, SUCH a personality. I got a real pang when you said about what your kids would gain by your international move. You do so so well entertaining your two pre-school babies all by yourself with no family. We only have Lily on my side, but a 5 year old, a 3 year old and twins the same age as H on DH's side, plus I can drop into my parents house 30 seconds up the road whenever I need to for a change of scene whether they are there or not, plus a legion of friends and other family to use/see/rely on. I take my hat off to you I really do. It will be so much easier out there with all your family, you will wonder how you ever managed...

Jeannie, gorge pics of your Abbey. Cheeky monkey!! She does look really grown up, like she's just comeback from ballet class or summat!

Junior you plank. I did laugh as i scrolled up.....and up.....and up....

KZ, that is what Toy still looks like, in terms of spots. They are all still there. Red scabls all over his dear little pudgy soft skin. Hope they go soon. Not that I am speaking to him, as it was him awake at 5.11am this morning while Harry sailde through till 6am. What did I do to deserve two early risers?

Bloss

Big headache relief to you guys too. How miserable.
