New thread everyone - hope the title is catchy enough

KBaby - Toby says NOTHING but Dada. The traitor.

ImpyChica · 05/06/2007 21:14

Bloss - you are such a fun mum!!! Your kids sound like they have a whale of a time with you!

Kbaby - fab pix of your gorgeous two btw - are you in to designing the card yourself with bits of clip art? I'm creating a party invite for Ry and found some good balloon images here

Ceebee74 · 05/06/2007 21:33

Thanks for all your support ladies - unfortunately we won't be TTC until the autumn (financial constraints etc - it was always the plan) but autumn seems to be looming rather quickly!! Lysette - I had exactly the same thoughts about virtual twinnies and really wish we could start to TTC now - how fab would that have been eh?

Just finished watching the last series of Lost - bit disappointed about the ending really. Whilst DH was working away we built up about 12 episodes to watch and have been slowly working our way through them these last couple of weeks.

Also, went out for tea tonight and had a chocolate fondue dessert to share - here is Josh enjoying it (we did make sure he had it covering healthy stuff like bananas and strawberries whilst me and DH had the yummy chocolate brownies and marshmallows!).

Ceebee74 · 05/06/2007 21:36

Congrats btw for Mae and HC re the jobs

ImpyChica · 05/06/2007 21:40

Fab photo CB - what a little imp!

Wallace · 05/06/2007 21:47

You guys! I can never keep up! [angry}

Saw somebody mention sleep. Leo wakes up about every 90 minutes until about 4:30, then it eems to be every 20 or 30 mins I think he has gone from being the best sleeper on this thread to the worst...

Wallace · 05/06/2007 21:50

Right now I'm going to try to catch up with all the posts...

Wish me luck!

kbaby · 05/06/2007 22:35

Wallace- Im sure hell become a good sleeper again soon.

Impy- I dont think my artistic tendencies even stretch to cut and pasting. Thanks though.

FirstAtForty · 05/06/2007 22:45

Hi Girls
Sorry tons to catch up on so I?ve been skimming a bit I?m afraid Work?s been extra busy recently grrrr. And I?ve been busy flogging one of the prams on eBay (that?s two sold now!) not got a bad price for it either so feel slightly better about my pram addiction

Well done Mae on the new job - 2 days a week is a nice balance I think, and much better to start something new if you had lost heart for your old job. Also if you go back to the same job on reduced hours it can be hard as they expect you to do exactly what you used to do in full time hours

Gorge pics Bloss, Impy, Kbaby, Ceebee They are such a cracking bunch of cuties, and all looking so grown up now

Kbaby - Emma says nothing but Dada either (Us - at Zack saying Mama !! )

Us - good to hear from you, glad you?re doing okay

Bloss - sounds like you have such a laugh with your boys, the painting session sounds great! Belated cheers re your G&T, it?s been (yet) another wine-soaked night chez Forty - stuff the government and their anti-drinking initiative.

HC - sorry to hear about horrid AF, agree about the nuts and seeds thing, the old Evening Primrose/Starflower Oil is always worth a go too if you?re not already taking it. Great that Sophie?s growing so well

Impy - not long to go now

Emma?s got her two top teeth coming through now, STILL not crawling or rolling over, but very very cute standing up in her playpen or cot with hands gripping the bars, looking v pleased with herself, till she realises she?s completely stranded. Still loving Teletubbies, greets them like long-lost friends now, it?s SO weird.

Went and picked up her Nutramigen formula today, god it?s minging stuff, really bitter with a strong aftertaste, I?ll be amazed if she ever drinks any. She?s still putting on weight though I think, is quite a lump compared to the delicate little thing she used to be.

Well I?d better stop, will catch up again soon - hi to everyone I haven?t said hello to already

Night xxx

SleepIsForTheWeak · 05/06/2007 22:45

Hi all,

Talking of sleep, ours has improved a lot! I have forced him to stop the midnight snack, and he still wakes up and has a niggle a few times, but then settles and sleeps through...

HC, are the spots eveywhere? Are they causing discomfort?

Ceebee, how gorgeous is Josh!?!??!?!?! bless!

x

oooh I used to sell to Diageo, got passes to the staff booze shop there each time I visited, them and Cadbury were my favourite clients!!

Good point re cousin coming. Will think about it. TBH would MUCH rather meet all of you on my own with the kids though, I'd be stressing abut her being bored as I gassed to you all. Do we just need to sort a date now?

CeeBee, Josh is totally scrummy.

well I'm easy, and cousin doesn't work so can go on up to here any day of the week...

HumphreysCorner · 06/06/2007 10:16

Thanks kayzed-was just thinking about bathing Em and Sophie together. Em will be distraught. She only has about 16 spots but am dreading more appearing. Infact-think I've spied a new one. Damn! That is why I thought it looked like Chicken Pox then. We all use the same towels so will probably have to use seperate towels for Sophie. It said on the net (yes, did scare myself) that you can still go swimming with it.

Back later-running late as weekly AF = weekly blasted migraine.

Morning girls,

HC hope the MC clears soon, Dr KZ on hand to help!

Hi First

Wallace, hope you get some sleep soon.

Ceebee, as you are well aware, Josh is GORGEOUS!

Impy I'm not a real alcoholic you know! How many days to go til DH gets back, five?

Bloss, such larks you have with your boys! LOL

Lysette, should you be ironing, in your (potential) condition!? Heavy lifting and all that...

Maewest, Congratulations!

No news to report, just that DH, DS and K are all snivelling and moaning still. Specially DH... Moan moan moan...

Off to do some work now. Don't worry, no boss today, so I will be taking it Very Easy. Specially after two days of proper work.

Bye for now

Annie

HumphreysCorner · 06/06/2007 11:10

Off into town to stock up on migraine relief and tea tree oil-hope Boots sells it.

Hi HC, hope the migraine clears soon. And don't forget the tampons! Mine is due today too... It does take a while for them to settle though, so try not to worry. It could also be the drugs affecting the cycle of hormones.

jacobandlysette · 06/06/2007 16:18

hi all just quickly jacob has become fascinated with the tv - we have a tv provided by our landlord on a low shelf and he can reach the front and push the buttons in and out! it's a hefty old thing and not plugged in so it's not going to fall on him thank god! keeps him amused for hours, although that might be just staring at himself in the reflection on the screen

Dh thinks all his christmases have come at once as this week is the week this month!!!!!

my BIL works for diageo and apparently they are all a bunch of shandy drinking purse carrying...... i could go on but don't want to offend although he is a hard drinking kiwi who regularly goes out o nfriday night and doesn't stop drinking till sunday night - they take "drink awre" very seriously now. but he can still get us really cheap champagne
