Hi all. Ella has gone from bad to worse on the sleep front. Waking as normal at 1ish to com in with us and then again at 3ish til 5!!! The other muppets are up at bloody 6. Just want to sleep n sleep n sleep.
Least i'll be used to it when the pups are born . Bound to be god awful o clock.
Ella no furtyher ahead on the walking front. Climbing well though! Don't think it helps that the others keep on with her, pulling her up to her feet. Probally pissed right off with it,i would be. We have a day without the others once a wk which is really nice because i get to play with her and do no=thing else. A real luxury with 4 of them.
Hope the migraines better - used to get them when i was a teenager, had to take theses tablets that basically anaesthetised you from the neck up. Luckily i grew out of them.

sohappyicouldcry · 06/06/2007 18:32

Had a lovely day out in the sunshine (dd in her little tent of course !). She absolutely loved bubbles !! spent ages blowing them into the tent and as high into the air as possible Think tey were more enjoyable for me really .

BBQ for tea tonight (spent far too much on a new one yesteerday - will keep dh quiet for a while though, new toys and all that).

Hope you're all taking it easy with it being a bad week for some (not you Lysette, you enjoy ).

Love lots to everyone, really must dash now as need to tidy the house and look like I've done something today whilst dh was at work .....

MaeWest · 06/06/2007 18:45

Thanks you guys . Lovely to have so many hairy truckers rooting for you

Think I have a childminder sorted out, only prob is that she's not available for 3 weeks in July, so will have to be a bit creative and call in all favours before DS starts properly in August. It's a bit of a leap into the unknown, but her house seemed clean, she was good with the children. Has 4 grown up children of her own and has been minding for 16 yrs - should be ok? Also a bit worried about DS's routine, as the sleep bit involves a boob... oh well, I'm sure it'll work out.

The highlight of DS's day was chasing the cat around the living room - that crawl is really revving up... Also, I have a horrible feeling that he's dropping to one nap a day as he's been really hard to get to sleep in the evening for a week or so (combined with broken nights, not a good mix). May try pushing his morning map further so it's more of a midday nap and then keeping him awake in the afternoon. Surely he can't sleep any worse .

TheGoddessBlossom · 06/06/2007 20:21

Childminder sounds good Maewest. Fingers crossed hey?

Dh fishing tonight. Have just got home with the boys from a friends house, so late night for them. Often go there to do tea and bath at her house, she is gorgeous, such a lovely friend, 10 years older than me but our boys are the same age and she is pregnant again. Her husband is loaded but he is such an arse. One of those "Hey Bloss, come and look at our new cinema room, aren't these boys lucky, great house to live in, two porches in the driveway..." etc. I mean, WTF? I really don't get it. I mean, how can someome be so insecure that they don't know that their ostentatious house, their flash cars, their diamonds and their private school isn't obvious enough that they are wealthy why does he feel the need to mention if every five minutes? It's makes me so uncomfortable because she isn't like that at all, and if he didn't say such things he would really be this lovely guy....just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. makes "jokes" about me bringing the kids gubbins round in Lidl plastic bags, took the piss about me driving a Ford, discusses what is left to pay on their mortgage wth her in front of me (not alot). Just gauche and rude and makes me cringe. Oh well, she is so lovely and we have scuh a lovely time at her house it is worth putting up with him for that. needless to say Dh REFUSES to see them socially since her DH flashed a fifty pound note at the bar once and came out with "Oh I suppose you were al waiting for me to turn up to buy the drinks..."

Anyhoo sorry for rant. It is red wine fuelled and unecessary as I have had a divine day with my boys.

Watchoo lot been up to then?

Bloss

HC hows the head you poor love?

LOL bloss, some folk.

Failed to catch up on the posts last night as Leo woke up

KZ - I have been blaming Leo's sleeping (or lack of it) on teeth for 6 months now I think it is just bad habits... We will get there eventually!

Was weighed today 26lbs 3.5 oz (11.9kg)

Will try to catch up tonight when kids are in bed (been out so they are still up!)

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 06/06/2007 21:00

Evening girls,

I'm making thai red curry tonight if anyone would like some. Leftover roast lamb to use up. Smells good.
Only a sprinkle of wine left (and that doesn't mean I've drank it all, it means that's all that's there, before ye all jump on the 'Oh Annie's on the booze again' bandwagon )

LOL Bloss. Flashy showoffy git. Glad the missus is lovely though. He must have a teeny honker, so he flashes the cash to detract from it!! Hee hee.

Mae, LOL at DS chasing the cat!! Hope the childminder works out, and the boobies.

Numpty, me too re sleep. No chance though.

Lysette, guess we won't be hearin much from you this week then, since you'll be baby-making at every opportunity!! Enjoy!!
Hurrah for Jacob crawling! And Merry Christmas to you DH (X 37)

Nite All

Annie

F@F - you're lucky Emma's not charging around the place causing general mayhem in her wake... sounds like she'll be one of those skip-the-crawling stage babies. Can't remember - is the Nutramigen for a dairy allergy? Has she managed to drink any yet?

KZ - thanks for the Gap compliment! I should pimp him out and get him earning his keep.... bloomin' freeloader.... How funny was the Chili incident??!!!! I know it was embarrassing at the time but makes for a great story!

Childminder sounds good Mae. Don't worry about routines - they soon adapt when mummy/booby's not around.

Grizzle Bloss. What an arse. Such a shame when you love one half of a couple and can't stand the other...

Better head for bed. Last night was a 10pm and 3am shout. Not too bad in scale of things.... He's now waving on demand when you say "Hi Ry" which is v cute. DP is not going to recognise him - he's changed so much/doing so much more in these past three weeks.

Night all. x

TheGoddessBlossom · 06/06/2007 21:34

KZ forgot to say LOL at your doctors experience with the Big Chill, hilarious in retrospect, no? Bloody kids, they really know how to show us up!

Well I've done two episodes of SITC, and am now off to bed, because the life that I lead is that of a Rock Star.

Not.

Evening ladies

Bless Roshi-she is such a poppet. Had to laugh at the Drs incident too.

Head still banging worse luck and have bought a double pack of Always Ultra with wings. Don't do tampax I am to say.

jacobandlysette-tis so exciting for you. That 2 week wait is the both nervewracking and exciting at the same time. I still wee on some of my Ebay sticks occasionally for the fun factor. Well done to Jacob

Bloss-my lovely friend often gives my girls tea after our afternoon jaunt on a Thursday. She is poorly at the mo so I won't get to see her for a few weeks as she is going on hols. Your friend's DH sounds a total tosser.

Impy-Ry is a gorgeous boy too. DH will soon be home.

Annie-don't eat curry but I think I could tonight. Need, need, need some tasty food.

Right ladies-off to dose up on pain relief.

Love to all.

xxx

P.S. Can't be bothered to preview!

JeanieG · 07/06/2007 00:00

Hi All,

I can't believe I have missed out on sooooo much chat. I haven't been on since middle of May, so have been reading for days!!

My computer has been sick for ages but it's finally back on YAY.

Last time I spoke to you all, I was just about to take Sian DD1 to see Justin Timberlake in concert. I kept it a secret from her until we got into the venue. She was absolutely thrilled to bits, loved spending some time with her alone. She is such a good girl and a MASSIVE help with not only Abbey but also with Ross DS, who is two years older than Sian. (Numpty- DS also has ASD).

Abbey is doing really well. She seems to have come on loads lately. Every day she is finding new things to do, it's ace. She is crawling at lightning speeds, cruising round all the furniture, climbing everything she possibly can. Has finally started clapping yesterday, which is so cute. Also has stood alone a couple of times for a little while. She 'talks' to us all constantly, none of it makes a word of sense apart from dada, baba.
HOWEVER:-the nights are a complete nightmare. She goes to sleep ok (she does fall asleep downstairs with a bottle and a cuddle pretty much every night ), but then wakes every two hours until about 2am. As soon as she wakes, she stands up in the cot and if i try to get her back down to sleep, she throws a wobbler. What am I doing wrong??? I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing is working. After 2am, she does sleep until 7am, so I do get some sleep.

Sorry that turned into a bit of an essay, Really didn't mean it to.

Will get back into the swing of it properly now though

Speak soon, night all

Jeanie

JeanieG · 07/06/2007 00:19

Just thought I would add some recent photos of Abbey.

You will have to excuse the mess in the pics. It's just that I'm really shit at housework.

As you can tell Abbey is a bit of a messy eater

Love

Jeanie
