Am having a bad day today. Am hot, tired (cos I didn't sleep at all last night) itchy skin. plus clothes don't fit much and i'm so of all the girls on my thread who have had scans and I have to wait till 20th!!

jen, sorry that you are feeling so shitty but all these crappy days will be well worth it in the end...you get something that is 100% worth it in another couple of months. And 8 days will (well should) go quite quickly for the scan.

just remembered...i was pregnant through last years summer...was not very fun, so i sympathise completely with the hot feeling.

We are fine thanks, George is sitting up and giving kisses, with tounges , and starting to make sounds that DH swears is Daddy but I think he is just making noises!

no i'm going to docs on weds (no scan apt yet) straight to the midwife. i haven't even had it confirmed yet.

Yes deffo teething, the slits are literally where the top of the teeth are spliting the gum ready to push up. Owwww!

Yes we are stopping now, we are moving to Spain the year after next, so a number 3 wouldn't be the best idea!

Jen, you probably won't have it confirmed now, with DS1 they just took my word for it, it was only when we had the first scan at 14 weeks that anyone who worked for the NHS had any proof what so ever that I was PG!

I got my pay rise on thurs and boss knew about baby when she sorted it! am so relieved now.

Just got back from shopping cos my bigger boobs have lifted my top and now you can see my huge belly (i've put on 3 inches) which i'm sure isn't all food!

nat - yeah i love being a mummy its amazing how one little smile can light up your day, isnt it? i think the teeth are giving her a little more hassle now. she restless in the nights (tossing and turning) and a bit grumpy too.

wow, spain?? i'd love to live there.

forgot to add...it was my 1 year wedding anniversary on tuesday. hard to believe that a year ago you lot were having my cyber hen party LOL!!

Apt went ok, nothing much happened. Just took my blood pressure booked me in the with hospital (am awaiting the date for scan) and pressed on my belly abit. They did try to hear the heartbeat but nothing there, which apparently means i'm not 12 weeks yet (well d'uh) Got a little emotional over the fact they couldn't hear anything.

Got all weepy at work today cos I was having a bad day! - Damn hormones

did you ask them to confirm everything? (obv, just for the added peace of mind. i can remember not really believing it until the scan lol) im sure that alls fine. maybe it was just a bit too soon to hear the heartbeat.
