Aaaaargh!

Flamesparrow · 24/04/2007 08:11

Gonna have a cup of tea and see how I feel.

DD says she is feeling better and is hungry . She does this a lot - normally when she is exhausted... tummy ache for an afternoon, followed by sickness during the night, sleeps really deeply for the rest of the night and wakes up bouncy!

Jelley · 24/04/2007 08:12

At least if that is what it is, you know it isn't catching

Chloe55 · 24/04/2007 08:13

I hope you can still go Flame - would be good for your business, like CSWS said, it could be nerves and dd being poorly is a co-incidence?

2boysmacca · 24/04/2007 08:19

Oh good luck Flame if you decide to go.

Flamesparrow · 24/04/2007 08:35

I'm still impressed that my friend is still offering to have DD... she is a school mum I met in September, its nice to be able to think of her as a "friend" iyswim.

2boysmacca · 24/04/2007 10:52

I've just had an invite to a wedding at the end of June. I now have exactly 8.5 weeks to lose half a stone . What the hell am I going to wear. Last year I went to a wedding 5 weeks after having ds2 and I borrowed an outfit, I have a lovely armani cream suit that I longingly look at each time I open my wardrobe, but I'd need to lose a stone and a half to fit into that . Need to find a babysitter too.

Just beent o Tesco and Wolfblass is on offer if anyone is partital to the odd glass

If you see me on this between 1 and 3 this afternoon, shout me off. I really need to be soing something else

Flamesparrow · 24/04/2007 11:07

The women on the super skinny programme managed a stone if 5 weeks

Not entirely sure that's the best of plans though...

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/04/2007 11:28

There was a guy at my slimming world class who lost a stone in a week, and nearly a stone the second week too . He did have rather more than you to lose though .

Well we've just had to leave a toddler group early, because dd was so tired! She fell off a chair and got a nasty bang to her back/head, then just sat and had a cuddle whilst she ate her biscuit and we did singing, and then when we went through for the last half hour, where they have ride ons and slides and stuff, she bumped into someone and toppled over, and was really upset about it, which is so not like her. Drove her back and she'd gone to sleep by the time we got home - it's only about a 3 minute journey!! Now sleeping soundly in her cot. Quite handy as picking mum up from airport (she's coming by coach) at her usual nap time, so it solves that problem!

Cr*p... friend just text - she's in A&E with her DD!!! Apparently she can't put weight on her leg (she sent her to preschool this morning, thought she was putting it on).

She says she'll still have DD if she is out in time.

Its getting very late to cancel the demo (and I really don't want to - she is about 37 weeks, moves house on Friday and I think it might make her cry a lot ), I don't know who else will have DD (psychomum won't touch her if there is a chance she is poorly, stepmum has got the other babies round so it isn't fair to pass it on to them), she would behave at the demo, but obv can't go and risk infecting pregnant woman!!

I think I'm going to have to go for the hope like hell method that Mia is ok and not needing plastering and A&E is vaguely speedy !!!

2boysmacca · 24/04/2007 13:09

Good luck!

Chloe55 · 24/04/2007 15:45

Back from our day together with PG and another mnetter called Smiley, had a good day but like you CSWS, had to come home after a couple of hours because ds was so tired. He loves to play with older kids and got a bit picked on today by two young lads in particular - quite cross at them really as the kept trapping his hand in the wendy house and throwing soft play shapes on top of him - one of them even told his mum he was 'killing the baby' I told one of them off and his mum was stood behind me What a strange thing to say for a young boy though - he was probably about 6ish (and shouldn't have been in the area he was in ) Besides that had a lovely time.

PhoenixGirl · 24/04/2007 17:41

Did he go to sleep chloe? Lewis fell asleep in the car within 5 mins I called at Asda on my way home and bought Lewis an inflatable police car ball pool and 200 balls We've got it up in the house and he loves it We had a great day.

And chloe's hair is purple now It looks really nice. I took my camera but forgot i'd got it til i got home so we've got no pictures from our meet

Flamesparrow · 24/04/2007 18:01

Glad you guys had a good day

Stepmum had DD in the end too. Demo went well and she ordered oodles - forgot a few things I could have done with, but she knew she was my guinea pig!

Jelley · 24/04/2007 18:04

Glad you made it.

Sounds like a nice meet up, too, but I really need to see the purple hair!

mustrunmore · 24/04/2007 18:19

Have fallen off my good diet; currently scoffing buttered fruit loaf At least I ran this morning.

ds2 slept for two hours at lunchtime!!!!! So I came home and watched half an afternoon movie Anyone know what happenend at the end of 'Sweet Hostage'?!

Jelley · 24/04/2007 18:22

It all ended up happily ever after, and everyone was reunited...I guess

2boysmacca · 24/04/2007 18:40

Is it me or does malt loaf taste rather stale these days? I have bought a couple of loafs recently and they were both the same

Boys in bed, better get these accounts finished....yawn!

PhoenixGirl · 24/04/2007 19:22

Jelley · 24/04/2007 19:31

It is you macca (or yourshop is selling out of date stuff). We had malt loaf today, and it was lovely and squishy.
