Half term is the week of the second May bank holiday I think.

DH is half welsh and BabyDragon has a Welsh name. And WelshBoris keeps trying to steal her.

Jelley · 29/04/2007 11:57

Half term is last week of May.

i checked distance to M25 for my"run" and the AA said 2 km, but I stopped at the roundabout this side, and when I checked again (after you were impressed) I found it was measuring to second roundabout on other side.

mustrunmore · 29/04/2007 11:59

You mean you didnt run with one of those trundle wheel measurers??!!

That really did look like you were trying to tell me you ran 2km along the M25. What a lovely image.

Jelley · 29/04/2007 11:59

DDs are due back at school on 4th June. We are going away until the 8th (£200 cheaper for the same holiday. I really don't care if they miss school. It is theonly way we can afford to get away.)

mustrunmore · 29/04/2007 12:00

Whre yo ugoing? Did I miss that big discussion?!

Jelley · 29/04/2007 12:00

I live 1.5 km from the M25. I only notice that you can hear it rumbling from my bedroom when I go away and it isn't there.

I looked at a cottage whewn we were househunting(and moved here). It was very very cute, but less than 10 metres from the North circular It was also smaller than the flat we were in! And was £210k.

mustrunmore · 29/04/2007 12:06

How much is that then, out of interest? Not that we're having a holiday, because dh doesnt seem to want to go away with the boys. Hopefully going to Pontins in Oct half term (if 'hopeful' is thr right word for a place like that!) A friend has a voucher to use up , becuse she complained when she went last year! Notthat I'll be getting a share of it, I'll have to pay my way.

Jelley · 29/04/2007 12:08

M-F £179 for us all

mustrunmore · 29/04/2007 12:09

Wow! Thats good.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/04/2007 12:10

Ooh mrm - I'll go away with you and the boys if you like. Dh doesn't know yet, but have ordered a Centreparcs brochure - can just imagine that discussion .

I knew I hadn't imagined the Welsh thing. I can even remember BabyDragon's name (it's without the a on the end isn't it?)!

If I can russle up some money by the holidays, you're on!
Going to click on your link now...

Flamesparrow · 29/04/2007 12:34

Sorry - I know I share far too much shop stuff with you all

and sex stuff...

... and just general stuff...

mustrunmore · 29/04/2007 12:35

Ah, no you dont. We love you

2boysmacca · 29/04/2007 12:44

I went to the gym this morning and dh took boys swimming. GOt to the paydesk, asked for one swim and one member gym. Paid, walked in then the man said, oh are you taking the kids swimming. I felt like saying, no, they're coming to the gym with me! Anyway, the baby pool was shut!!! Ok can we have our money back please. Erm, sorry we don't do refunds for swimming!!!!!!! Needless to say he gave us the money back

Dh took the boys home and I ran home, only .8 mile (1.3km) but did it in 8 minutes The went to take the boys to the park instead as ds was rather upset. I bailed and sat in Starbucks with a tall cap and the Sunday papers. Why has it taken me 3.5 years to do that?

Dh now off to watch the footie. Why do I resent having to do the whole afternoon, evening and bedtime routine on my own on a Sunday. I really shouldn't.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/04/2007 12:48

No you shouldn't, esp if it's the only day you have to do it .

mustrunmore · 29/04/2007 12:50

The one lesson I've learnt since having two kids is this: take every opportunity to not look after them yourself, as you never know when the next chanc will come along.

2boysmacca · 29/04/2007 13:34

csws you forget that I do the whole morning and evening thing every day too, although I am lucky enough for dh to be at home from 8 each night to cope with the sleepless nights....

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/04/2007 13:56

Let you off then .

OP posts:
Jelley · 29/04/2007 13:59

And when you have three, you take any offer to have any combination at all

DP has gone out and left me with them all again. DDs are playing nicely but ds is whinging, and I really wanted to sort the ds room todaym, as dp has finally npticed that they need more clothes storage and agreed to go out and buy drawers if I make a space for them

Jelley · 29/04/2007 14:06

Flame, why are you apologising? I'm sure I seem to share my entire life, too, but at least yours is more interesting

I'd be offended if you didn't tell us how the busineass was going now, I think

2boysmacca · 29/04/2007 14:13

I thought he was doing to shed this weekend or has he made himself unavailable so you can't make more space for the drawers for the girls?
