Oh describe them to me! I am currently int he process of filling out membership to the gym. At the moment I pay £6.75 a session but memebreship currently stands at £32 a month. I should get a free service but I just hate them and prefer to do what I fancy.

Dh is in a bad mood because ds2 never really went to bed after I'd left this evening so 'he's had no time to himself tonight' I don't really know what to say to that He'a also stressing bout work, event hough he's handed in his notice and asking me what his final pay cheque will be? When he has to pay back his season ticket and generally being a complete Numpty!

2boysmacca · 26/04/2007 21:52

Hi Pg

G'night

Off to bed. Thinking ds2 is gonna make us suffer for his lie in this morning

PhoenixGirl · 26/04/2007 21:53

Hi/Bye Macca

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 07:02

How was the night out mrm?

I feel ok this morning, not too achey at all Maybe tomorrow it will hit me!

Boys are having their photo taken today at the toddler group I go to. The photographer is really good. What shall I put them in.....

Jelley · 27/04/2007 07:19

Do you do matching outfits?

Much as I'd love to piss off the neighbour with y shed/terrace arrangement, the only people it would affect are the nice neighbours on the other side.

I have a ds free morning Will be totally wasted as I have my first (?only) session with the counsellor I was referred to ages ago. Not sure what I will say as my mood is still all over the place
My friend is taking ds to toddler group so I have just had to go in the loft to sort out a car seat for him.

You know what, it has never really occurred to em to put them in the same outfit, but for the first time ever I bought hem 2 matching outfits because there wasn't much chocie and I liked them. The problem is, ds wants to wear it at the same time as his brother so I have o be very careful when I dess them. Today to stop an argument developing, ds will be wearing the 'matching' t-shirt but ds2 will be wearing something completely different.

I hope the counsellor session goes ok.

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 08:29

Lucky you; how did you manage to wangle getting out of toddler group?! I cant stand the thought of another 1-2 years of it!

Night out was good. Ups and downs really , for a whole host of reasons far too complicated and dull to explain to the world! But on a superficial level.. we went to see The Reaping. Ok by my guideline of not looking at the time at all during it, but nothing special in terms of plot or filming etc.
Have discovered, however, that making an effort to go out with someone else actually spurred dh into being really really nice to me
Ds1 got so excited because he hasnt seen lodger for ages , so he just went beserk and sooo badly behaved Didnt help that he was in evening meltdown anyway

Didnt manage to fit in my 7km yesterday, but I did get my 5km to sub 30 mins . Down to 29mins 31secs, which isnt phenomenal, but its onlt 6 secomds slower than the best time I did after ds1 was born So I'm getting there. Still not losing weight though, or toning. And I've arranged to see a friend Sat night, as soon as dh gets home from work and we've done bedtime, so I wont be able to run that day. I'm gwetting that paranoid feeling already, about skipping a day.

Jelley; does ds play with that stick on a wheel thing from Ikea?? Ds2 has hardly touched it, but ds1 uses it as a whole variety of machines He was asking about "your friend with those big girls" again

Chloe55 · 27/04/2007 09:28

MRM - how do you push yourself with the running - I haven't improved at all, I still struggle to get round Pugneys (1.5miles) and showing no signs of getting any further, I've been running for months now. I could really do with a running partner to motivate me but the times I run don't fit in with anyone I know and most of my mates aren't interested in running anyway I just can't push past my pain barrier.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2007 09:39

Intrigued about the ups and downs mrm .

Hope the counselling helps Jelley.

We had photos at tumble tots on Monday, but I forgot so dd was in very ordinary clothes.

Weird weird night. We had commented on how much more settled dd seemed in her sleep (bed at 7:45), and then at 11:50 (when I'd only been asleep for 20 mins) she woke up and screamed the place down, and would only calm down snuggled in my arms. Had to give her calpol and nurofen in the end, and it was gone 1 when she went back to sleep. She then woke again at 5:30, when we discovered that she had managed to get out of her pj bottoms and her sleeping bag, so was probably cold! Gave her milk and put her back to bed at 6, and she slept til 8:40. Now we're running late - supposed to be going out in 5 mins and not showered yet, so better go!

Toddler group would have been easier than this. I managed to break the catch on my car seat, so ds is coming with me. I must be anxious, as that wouldn't usually be enough for me to end up in tears, but I did My friend offered to find another car seat, but I really couldn't do the hassle.

I'm supposed to be meeting up with her and a couple of other friends for lunch later, and I really don't feel like it, but if I don't turn up they will worry about me.

Deep breaths.

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 13:26

Chloe. There are those that can run and those that can't. I am definitely in the can't category. I don't enjoy running at all and every step is agony. I started up running after ds was born and it took me a good six months before I could honestly say the 4 miles I was doing wasn't agony. I then fell pregnant. The thought of running like this for another few months just makes me want to give it all up but I'm a stubborn cow and won't give in. However, it is true, that one day, maybe tomorrow maybe weeks away, you will run that course and you'll feel like doing it all again!

I am putting my name down for the Race for Life in Cambridge. I want to get my times to about Mrm's, i.e half an hour so I'm thinking of doing rhe July dates rather than June.

Heck! boys weren't dressed up for their photos, just not in banana stained t-shirts I got there early so we could get in before ds ran around too much and got tight curls

Hope it all got a little better Jelley

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 13:49

cruel or cute?

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2007 15:23

fANCY DRESS PARTY - CUTE... OTHERWISE SO SO SO CRUEL!!!

(aND CLEARLY CRUEL TO THE DOG YOU SKINNED [WINK])

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2007 15:24

Oops

Jelley · 27/04/2007 16:15

Nickname Auction I'm hoping I'm the only one who wants jas...

Flame is on the list.

macca - definitely cruel if going out (says the woman who took her ds to the London Eye in a dog suit)

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 16:50

OMG no!!! We were at Toddler group and they had dressing up today. I couldn't resist. I'm too much of a snob to let him be seen out in public like that

Thankyou all for not mentioning the dummy. I hate it with a passion but that boy goes to great lengths to get one. The past few months has been a nightmare after I thought he'd been weaned off it!

Just come back from the park so I'd better get dinner started before melt down begins.

Jelley · 27/04/2007 16:52

Melt down just happened here. Dinner will be ready in 10 mins, and I've just had to give ds a bottle of milk.

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2007 19:03

Put a bid on Flame

Anyone know when the auction takes place?

Jelley · 27/04/2007 19:10

It will be open til May 3rd, then we get a list of winners and how to pay

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2007 19:20

Hurrah!

Hands up who thinks I'll use it for a week then change back?

Jelley · 27/04/2007 19:24

I may become jas permanently though...

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2007 19:26

Please do!

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 19:51

How did dinner go Jelley?

How was it taking ds to counselling?

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 19:52

Why is David Gest doing silly dances at the side of my screen????
