Forgot to say earlier Welcome Back Frizbe Hope you had a good time. Chloe and I went on a meet up the other day with SmileyC who lives near you and who I think is on your March Ante Natal Thread now.

PhoenixGirl · 25/04/2007 21:55

I mean Post Natal

Flamesparrow · 25/04/2007 22:00

I have had a bath and am now completely exhausted.

Psycho has poitned out that shock is probably setting in, and also that I shouldn't be driving the car to the dentist tomorrow where they will then inject me and I will have less focus and car vision... just hoping they will accept the "dead car" excuse

KelBelle · 25/04/2007 22:41

Flame - sorry you have had a crap day, glad you are feeling better now.

On talk of ball pits etc - I got DS a small paddling pool from Asda last week for ...... £2.47!!!! it is plenty big enough for him, says from 3+ but you just keep eye on them. They have a similar one in Argos for about £3.99 but I thought that was well worth it.

Feeling down again tonight, not sure why. Been thinking about DH a lot and wondering if I will be a lonely single mum for the rest of my life now I miss him too and I dont know why when he has treated me like shit for the past few months. May be going on a hen night this weekend - think it will do me the world of good to get out. Also - I am eating ladies, honestly. Probably not as much as I should but I think it is probably the 3 hours walking I seem to be doing most days, I have two dogs that go out separately and then I walk places with DS plus all the other bits I do. I didnt sit down until 7.15pm tonight and that was on the bathroom floor whilst DS was in the bath. Off to bed shortly.

DS seems to be getting another cold, or could be hayfever. He was awake a bit last night moaning in the night but I ignored him and he went back off, runny nose and coughing a bit today.

Hope MMR babies are ok overnight and tomorrow.

Jelley · 26/04/2007 07:06

I have managed to not say Hi to Frizbe since yesterday. Sorry, and WELCOME BACK

Did you win CSWS?

DS slept all night (Well he woke a few times , I ignored and he dropped straight back off)

Flame - don't know why we didn't think of shock as an explanation, so obvious now!. I hope you are rested and feeling better this morning.

2boysmacca · 26/04/2007 07:12

Luca is still in bed....sleeping

Welcome back Friz. Did you have a lovely relaxing time?

Flamesparrow · 26/04/2007 07:50

Welcome back Friz

Kel - look at Amanda... fairytale endings happen

mustrunmore · 26/04/2007 07:56

Morning
Tonight is my big night out No kids A grown up film
Got to do at least 7km this morning.

Flamesparrow · 26/04/2007 08:07

Enjoy!!

Just discovered that I have been paying my nappy orders with paypal and I'm not meant to It is in the contract, but I signed up so long before actually making any sales that I had completely forgotten.

Why didn't they contact me and yell at me?!?! I feel really mean now (and that whatever I have lost out on with the price changes I probably deserved ).

mustrunmore · 26/04/2007 08:08

why cant you use paypal?

Flamesparrow · 26/04/2007 08:13

The charges - irks a bit though because i get charged and earn less as a result so want everyone too

I like the nice people who ask if they can do bank transfers

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/04/2007 08:41

Welcome back Frizbe.

Didn't win myself (you have to get a blocbuster style line so it's luck if your numbers come up as well as skill in answering questions), but our table won twice (out of 4 rounds). I would have won one too if the boys hadn't failed me on a true or false science question .

Enjoy your night out tonight mrm.

Blimey it's been quiet on here today!

Took ds2 to toddler group this morning whilst ds was at nursery. Came back, got dh to feed them both while I went to the running shop to get some new trainers. Came back some 40 mins later with dh moaning that he should have been working (although ds2 was in bed). Got the boys ready, took them to the creche and I went to the gym. Came back, picked up dh, went into town for a quick coffee. Cooked our dinner and the boys dinner whilst they were playing trains, had a bath while dh was feeding them and now just having 20 mins to myself whilst dh bathes the boys. I'm off to my pilates class in an hour, if I can actually get up off the chair. I'm knackered!

Oh yes, and ds2 slept until.......drum roll.....8am

Chloe55 · 26/04/2007 18:26

Have had a steaming headache all day, not sure why. I was really naughty last night and had a chinese, bottle of wine and all of a small easter egg I am so at myself. In the process of cooking trout for tea but really don't fancy it so have asked dh to pick up bread and beans - gonna have beans on toast instead. In a really bad mood but for no apparant reason other than a bad head.

2boysmacca · 26/04/2007 18:40

Oh I'll have the trout

Chilli for us tonight. I am starving, but won't eat for another 1.5 hours.

Dh has just said, this house is a tip. Problem is, he's the only one that has been in all day so it's his mess

Ds has just fell flat on his face and banged his teeth for the umpteenth time. If he'd stop running around he'd be a lot better off!

Chloe55 · 26/04/2007 18:50

GRRRRRRR Dh has only just set off from work so looks like I won't be getting my tea for another hour and I'm bloody starving!

Hope your ds is ok Macca

Flamesparrow · 26/04/2007 19:28

Just flyin through - back properly later...

You remember the big secret shop thing?

Tis sittin in my diningroom

All will be revealed Sat morning!!!

Jelley · 26/04/2007 20:01

Flame - Why don't you ask for bank transfer/ other payment that doesn't cost you money? (I feel bad for using paypal now. How do you do bank transfers?)

I will be checking for the surprise....

Ds has been manic all day, and cried alot before he fell asleep tonight.

Enjoy your night off mrm

Flamesparrow · 26/04/2007 20:06

Awww, it wasn't meant to make you feel bad!! Its a part of business. Bank transfers - normally with online banking... you have my account name, sort code, account number and just transfer the total straight in.

Flamesparrow · 26/04/2007 20:07

I don't have a bank transfer option on the shop... will go find out if it can happen now.

Frizbe · 26/04/2007 21:29

Flame at beach pub, was sat at a lovely one last week with the entourage in tow, it had fabby reclining deck chairs, that you just leant back in and they went horizontal kept looking at the mum on the next table over, with one in a buggy, a few months younger than ours and one about 3, with her jug of sangria, wondering if she was a mumsnetter too she looked as if she had got it right, her dh was chasing the yonger one about the beach, whilst she was drinking

Chloe thanks for the fabby summary, so what happened with the hair, or just bored?

CSWS hurrah for midweek night out

Jelley are you going to put a flat roof on the shed and put up deck chairs to make your point not that I'd be one to give you any evil ideas

MRM congrats on the running!

Macca how was the pilates?

Phoenix, was it a good meet then, I've not had chance to chat to her yet! will be making an effort soon tho was it cannon hall, I've not been there since ss's birthday a few years ago, farm park there as well if I'm thinking of the right place?

Kel, how much walking, would you like me to send you our easter egg collection, to help you keep weight on! {{{{Hugs}}}} Flame is right tho, better things are on their way.

My cousin got married today hurrah for her, still can't mention the possible news tho!!!

Sooooo we had a lovely time, nice n chilled. Did I mention dd2 had her 1st lesbian experience? small 18mth Italian baby, spotted her and yelled, 'bebe'!! ran after dd2, pinned her down with kisses, much to her shock, she didn't know what to do, so just sat down and let herself be smothered in kisses Next day, she spots the 18 mth old and much to the other kids disgust, returns the favour , she spent the rest of the hols, trying to kiss the Italian baby whenever we saw her
Dd2 on the other hand, half way through the holiday announces she didn't realise Easter was the previous week or so ago we said, didn't you think all the eggs were a give away????? I think she was angling for more chocolate at the time 3 year old logic for you.

So today, out in the garden, putting away a sun tent, that friends baby had been sitting in, I hear a squeak of triumph, look around and nearly die of shock, race to save my precious dd2, who is standing a top of the stuffing slide (which was brought for ss, when he was 2, and is a huge little tykes one, not akin to something to be found in the playground......) not only atop of the slide, but waving, so holding on one handed, she then proceeds to sit down and slide down, like she's been doing this all her life I guess she's learnt to climb, had to spend the next 15 mins looking after her, until she got bored.....my garden is not safe anymore!

Sorry for the essay if you've bothered to read this far!

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/04/2007 21:34

I hand you my long post crown Frizbe. A worthy winner .

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 26/04/2007 21:37

Ihave the same sort of problem with ds2. At soft play yesterday we went downt he big wavy slide together, in different 'lanes' iyswim. Anyway, I put him on his tummy and he stops himself, turns round and sits up, then comes down sitting up. Because he comes down so sodding fast he sort of rolly polly down

I like the idea of a roof top terrace

Pilates was better but I really over did the gym so I ache like anything. I am not looking forward to tomorrow.

I wonder what mrm is watching....... I'm watching the Human Footprint, anyone else? Is that David Tennant narrating?

Frizbe · 26/04/2007 21:44

thanks CSWS I accept with honour!

Macca, I've been tonight too, they've given me some nice weights to do, which apparantly shift love handles have made my workout 15 mins longer, bah!! and having not been for nearly two weeks, means I'll ache too, will compare notes tomorrow.

Watching BBC3 I think, but really should be going upstairs to bed, dh is awaiting my arrival, poor bloke will be asleep by the time I get there!

PhoenixGirl · 26/04/2007 21:46

Friz - The meet was at Leapfrogs in Skelmanthorpe. It took Smiley about an hour to get there, hint hint We were gonna do Cannon Hall but the weather wasn't really great and yes it has a farm
