Oh Carol she's gorgeous! Love her hair 😍 DS has never had much hair but sometimes has these little fluffy bits at the sides that stick out and I just love them!

Sorry you've had a bad day purple, I hope things get better for you soon Flowers hopefully you can get some rest this weekend.

Carol I miss DS every time he's away from me! We have a video monitor and I like to check it every now and then just to look at him!

Our day was good, my mum came round with her dyson so I got to hoover the whole house! I have a Henry and it's useless on carpets (I'm sad, I know). She also took us for lunch and I got myself a couple of presents for DH to give me for my birthday Grin

Carolann8584 · 08/09/2017 22:52

Haha coupe your DH is like my OH I don't go as far as buying them and him give them to me but he always asks me for a specific list lol

@Carolann8584 he couldn't find what I wanted and I couldn't think of anything else to ask for! I just happened to be in New Look and saw a couple of things I really liked, so figured I'd buy them and they could be from him!

Carolann8584 · 09/09/2017 07:58

Morning all.

DD had a good night 😁

How are LOs in the morning. I still worry, DD had 5oz at 11pm and then only 2oz at 7:30. I know if she was hungry she would feed but she just refuses the bottle after a couple of ounces

Abacha · 09/09/2017 08:10

Good morning, dt slept well, dd woke up twice and ds just the once. carol sorry difficult to scroll back, are you worried about her weight? Did she use to eat more?

Carolann8584 · 09/09/2017 08:19

She barely has half of her morning and 11am feeds. I always thought it was because she had feeds during the night but she hasn't been waking for feeds the past few nights.

HV says her weight is fine. I worry coz she normally only has about 25oz in 24 hours and based on her weight she should have about 35 a day. I know if she was hungry she would feed just worried she's not getting enough nutrients

purpleviolet1 · 09/09/2017 08:28

Morning all, happy weekend Smile

Feeling a little more human with some sleep last night. Ds woke a few times but resettled himself every time. I am feeding him once during the night as I think he needs it (he's only taking in around 23oz per 24 hours including the night feed). He takes it well. I've not tried to skip the night feed recently , but I suspect he would wake up more with hunger so don't want to rock the boat with that just yet! Maybe after we are on 3 solid meals I will try and skip it.

Got to give the sleep lady an update today.

I also miss ds when he goes to sleep! I watch him on the video monitor lol 😂

The joys of parenthood eh.

For those of you who have weaned, how quickly did you add meals?

Morning all !

Carol don't worry DD would feed if she was hungry but maybe it's time for food and as she isn't having much in the morning I would start with breakfast like you said before.

I love your DD room soooo much and she looks so cute !

Purple I did a good month or maybe 6 weeks of only veg but then again she was 4 months . From 6 months they can have everything bar eggs, nuts and shellfish . I would start with veg still but after a week or two just give meals ?

purpleviolet1 · 09/09/2017 08:38

Aww aren't they just gorgeous!

I agree wth mother @Carolann8584 .. start with breakfast and I bet she will keep her milk intake the same.

Been fed and morning poop in the process I do believe Grin

purpleviolet1 · 09/09/2017 08:39

We are going to try some porridge this morning.

Like clockwork she's had her morning poo (5 minutes in the bouncer and she fills her nappy, great if we are going out lol!) And is now napping, in her room. She normally only has 45 mins in the morning if she's had a good night that is.

MotherofA · 09/09/2017 09:02

Ahhh bless her . I've just put DD down for her nap . She always waits for her wee nappy to have been changed from over night I find it quite funny that they know they don't want to lie in poo all night .

Carolann8584 · 09/09/2017 09:09

Haha mother yeah DD does that as well. I change her first thing then bring her down for her breakfast.

Haha Hugh I used to try getting DD to sleep in her pram but she always sleeps for longer in the cot so I just put her down there now . My eldest would sleep in her pram for ages .
Sorry your DD is poorly bless her , hope she gets well soon .

MotherofA · 09/09/2017 10:02
