I like the nearly 3 yrs gap I've got (would have preferred it bang on or just over), I wanted one definately out of nappies before the next went in.

I think if I do end up with a third it will be quite a bit down the line, so you end up with the 2 then 1 scenario rather than 3 and a "middle child" iyswim. Quite happy with the two atm, every now and then I get the whole "he is my last baby" sob though - most other good things in life you get to do more than a couple of times!!!

mustrunmore · 19/04/2007 08:51

But with 3 yrs, it would seem so much like getting back to square one! I love both my boys, but I was sitting at playgroup the other day thinknig with horror at the thought of doing it for another 2 years Although in reality, ds1 wont be going for much longer as he just gets bored, so ds2 will have to miss out.

Chloe55 · 19/04/2007 09:09

I'm really sorry to hear about your MIL pg - Are you and dh ok?

Had my first day yesterday with no chocolate. It was hard - I was literally climbing the walls last night, I kept going into the kitchen and raiding cupboards to find something remotely chocolate like that might curb my cravings but to no avail. Last time I went on a chocolate detox it took me about a week of cold turkey so I guess I can predict the same. I actually don't think I have ever been addicted to something so strongly and I used to be a 20-fags-a-day girl!

PhoenixGirl · 19/04/2007 09:15

Thanks we're fine but we don't really know what's going on yet we haven't heard from FIL since last night. They were wanting to send her for a scan last night but i don't know if she's had it yet. We'll find more out once dh gets up cos he'll ring his dad (i don't ring the in-laws)

mustrunmore · 19/04/2007 12:27

Why oh why didnt I stay away from the buggy thread??

PhoenixGirl · 19/04/2007 12:31

I did tell you Can't believe you've bought one.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2007 13:20

mrm - do me a favour will you and set up a profile, even if you put absolutely no information whatsoever on it? It will save me having to search every time you mention being on another thread, as I can just see the last ones you've been on. Ta.

mustrunmore · 19/04/2007 14:00

Its an honour to be stalked by you csws

pg; but it was £62 once you take into account the 1300 extra points!! I could sell it for more than that!! Will i like it more than my jive, or not?

ellenrose · 19/04/2007 16:33

pg - so sorry to hear about your MIL

I have Crocs - Mary Jane ones in black and in red. They are sooooooo comfy - slightly less mad looking, but only slightly

Jelley · 19/04/2007 17:49

mrm - I did a bit of stalking, and can answer a question for you. When you buy from Boots online the points aren't credited to your account until anything up to 2 weeks after you receive the item, plus they just show as pending online, and you have to take your card to a shop with a machine to put them on it (or get them to send you vouchers in the post if your local Boots doesn't have a machine)

I got my new cooker from Boots

2boysmacca · 19/04/2007 18:36

Pg hope it's better news with your MIl

Off to pilates now. If I can still move tomorrow, I'll check in.

ps after all the pi** taking yesterday, I admit ds has some Gummies (very cheap version of Crocs, purchased from a garden centre) he loves 'em

mustrunmore · 19/04/2007 18:47

Oh my god, everyone's stalking me

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2007 20:20

Yay - I've ordered red mary janes ellenrose - hopefully I'll love them too!

Hideous hour this afternoon when dd woke from her nap. Another really bad teething session, where she screamed in a high pitched fashion for an entire hour (bar the time I had my boob shoved in her mouth to shut her up!). Gave nurofen right at the beginning, but it wasn't enough on its own, so had to give calpol too. Have dosed her up with more calpol before bed in the hope that she will sleep better, as she had a little scream about once an hour all last night.

Hope pilates makes you ache macca (only because that probably means you've had a good workout ).

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2007 20:28

Flame, I expect you'll see this anyway, but I was trying to post a link to your site on it, and it's not there anymore! Are you changing the URL with all your updates?

Flamesparrow · 19/04/2007 20:45

She was meant to do a redirection and I'm still nagging for it... www.bumfluffnappies.com now

PhoenixGirl · 19/04/2007 21:08

Re mil - All her scans and tests have come up clear which is good news. She has got an ear infection and according to dh there is pus continuously running from her ear (sorry for tmi) so they think somewhere along the lines the infection may have caused the paralysis in her face. They're keeping her in for a few more days though to make sure.

Chloe55 · 19/04/2007 21:10

Yeah ds is teething badly too CSWS, and he has the most hideous cough - it is keeping him up on a night big style, which of course means it's keeping us up too! Poor sod, it must be so annoying and painful for him. Another one here dosed up to the eyeballs on Calpol!

ChasingSquirrels · 19/04/2007 21:10

pg - good news (i guess, though still scary) on your mil, hope it clears up and she is out soon

Chloe55 · 19/04/2007 21:10

Oops crossed posts PG, glad it's nothing serious, sounds pretty horrid all the same though.

Flamesparrow · 19/04/2007 21:11

for teething babies

Don't listen to her Macca, she's not hoping you've had a good workout, she's just a cow

Flamesparrow · 19/04/2007 21:12

Glad its not anything brain related PG, still argh though

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2007 21:14

Great news pg .

How many teeth does Oscar have Chloe? We've still only got 4 here, but I live in hope that this much suffering means that there's more than one on the way .

dd has developed a new hobby today - biting! She kept trying to bite my knee , but it was a bit ticklish when she got near, so she would laugh in a really evil way, I would laugh that it tickled, then she would laugh cause I was laughing!

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2007 21:15

moo moo

Chloe55 · 19/04/2007 21:17

Ha ha CSWS, be prepared, be very prepared, it is never ending. No idea how many teeth ds has - it seems most of his back ones are popping through all over the place! When I try and put dentinox on his gums I can feel little teeth tips practically everywhere.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2007 21:23

I'm not allowed to put my finger in her mouth, so can't even do a feel, but think I can see one coming bottom left, although she's also putting her hand to back right a fair bit, so wonder if there's a molar coming up too.

Forgot to say Kel - the photos you sent are lovely - Ben looks really happy .
