The bin. I don't think the council would take him though, I'd end up putting him in the wrong coloured bin. Is he rubbish, compostable, or recyclable??

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 22:28

Steel toe caps? They def need a sturdy box to kept in

Now you're all mocking me, I daren't say how much I did pay. I thought it was a bargain!

ChasingRabbits · 16/04/2007 22:28

rubbish definatly (well not yours in particular)

ChasingRabbits · 16/04/2007 22:29

it obviously WAS a bargain given that its 80 squids on that website

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 22:29

Reet then, I'm orff to bed. It's way past my bedtime.

G'night all

Flamesparrow · 16/04/2007 22:32

I'll drink the beer and send ya one

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 22:32

Following on from Saturdays conversation. Thought some of you might be interested in this...

for sale

ChasingRabbits · 16/04/2007 22:36

ok, now i DO have to go and change my name, i just can't get the rabbit association out of my brain now i have thought of it

ChasingSquirrels · 16/04/2007 22:41

right, I am a squirrel, do they have any sexual connotations that i don't know about??

Flamesparrow · 16/04/2007 22:46

Nope... but I am picturing a hyperactive puppy

ChasingSquirrels · 16/04/2007 22:48

pmsl, when i first registered i was trying to think of a name and the dog was asleep on the floor having one of those twitchy dreams when you say they are chasing rabbits - voila. well now she will have to chase the squirrels instead, which she does anyway as we don't get rabbits in our garden and we do have squirrels.

Flamesparrow · 16/04/2007 22:57

so it is appropriate then

2boysmacca · 17/04/2007 08:14

Morning!

Back at nursery this afternoon so hopefully I'll get through today without many tantrums and screaming! I'm thinking of doing something this morning but I can't think what.

First lot of washing out on the line already. It's looking quiet overcast so I'm hoping I fon't need to make a quick dash to escue it all.

Chicken in the oven too. Roast chicken and avacodo sandwiches for lunch. Yummy.

Flamesparrow · 17/04/2007 08:30

Already fallen out with DD.

It is a routine issue we've realised . Going to buy a timer today (just borrowed mum's before) and work much harder at explaining changes first.

mustrunmore · 17/04/2007 08:48

Oh god, I've missed out on a load of chat again!!
Wellies.. I'll have a permanent muddy corner of the kitchen. We did put them on sticks, but the snails still climbed up inside! Dh left his on the back step once then it rained, and when he put his foot in it was 6 inches of water

Why did none of you stake a claim to the rabbit on my behalf????!!

Macca... I wasnt married by 23, I was married and divorced

sat nav; you've lost me totally, so I'm ignoring all that stuff!

Flamesparrow · 17/04/2007 09:06

Assumed you had one already

Chloe55 · 17/04/2007 09:08

How much postage do you think it would cost to send a handbag about the size of A4, leather? I did a clear out with my nan of all her handbags (starting on shoes next week) and she said if I can sell them I get to keep the cash! Gonna take pics and put them on here inc P&P but not sure about costs, even roughly really.

KelBelle · 17/04/2007 09:12

Morning all. I'm taking DS swimming this morning, not sure if he will like it or not as we put it off all winter and he kept getting colds anyway. Fingers crossed.

I liked the welly box

Chloe - no idea on postage, have a look on the royal mail website.

Flame - hope B is nicely behaved for you today. Infact hope all the babies/toddlers are better behaved today!!! DS has his moments too although he is a good hand holder and I can walk him out to the car holding my hand.

2boysmacca · 17/04/2007 09:25

DH very kindly put the dirty nappies in the waste paper bin in the living room. Ds2 has found them. I know have pee gel all over him and the house. Would men be so quick to be so stoopid if they had to deal with the mess???

I'm in a foul mood today. It's taken me 1.5 hours to get ds dressed. He only started to comply when I walked outside and pretended to go out without him.

Chloe55 · 17/04/2007 10:07

Please have a look

That Royal Mail site is great, thanks Kelbelle.

ellenrose · 17/04/2007 12:12

2boys - LOL at Mooncup order. We can share how we get on - what a joy for everyone

Friz - happy hols

MRM - have only just found your comment re my photo - Sitting down with dd in front of me covers a multitude of sins

Have had to register for another Race for Life as we have been invited to a family wedding. So, now the panic really begins - 1. I am running in three weeks so must do better at this exercise lark. 2. What the hell am I going to wear to the wedding - feeling such a heifer right now .

KelBelle · 17/04/2007 13:28

LOL at mooncups!!

Been swimming - DS loved it. I have got him one of those swim seats and he kicked and splashed and laughed for the 40 minutes we were in there. We also joined the library on way back and I got DS 6 books, he even has his own library card!!! Ahhhh. He is shattered and fast asleep now.

It's quiet on here today.

Jelley · 17/04/2007 13:59

ds has had his own library card since he was about 6 weeks old I rarely use it. I buy all their old baby books instead.

he has spent all day either crying, or following me around calling "memeeeee" at me. I can't get anything done today.

Chloe55 · 17/04/2007 14:15

Been to Pugneys (lake near us) - was a nightmare! Didn't bother witht he pushchair because ds hates it so had him on reins, whenever I didn't move in the direction he wanted to go in (which was always straight for the water) then he just sat and refused to move. It took us 45mins to walk 100mtrs! Then we turned round and came home because it was too much hard work and less fun than I had originally anticipated - poor dog, not much of a walk for him!!

mustrunmore · 17/04/2007 14:40

Ah, so thats the answer ellenrose. I just have to keep carryibg ds2 in a front carrier till he's 15
