OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:11

Nope, you've not missed a thing. We have no storage, and dirty boots live at the kitchen door (making my floor dirty) and dh's gardening shoes just live outside

I'm pretty newish to this area so I have no idea where you are. The others will tell you, I've not been anywhere

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 21:11

Yes you lost me with the wellie box too!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 21:12

She's been to London and always has something to say about that!!!

So it's a storage box to put wellies in then?

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:13

What sat nav do you have? We're looking to get one. We have TrafficMaster (smartnav) installed but we didn't renew it after the first year as it was too expensive.

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:16

Err yeah.

But I know London, I lived there for 15 years spending my student days in the Punch and Judy and Equinox Or throwing up somewhere around the Elephant & Castle or Old Kent Road

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:18

Or using the grounds of The Imperial War Museum as a public loo on the way to Halls

ChasingRabbits · 16/04/2007 21:20

ok well the wellie box makes sense then, now you just have to get the men in your life to actually put their footwear in the box .
near here

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 21:22

Oh you sound so classy now macca!

The sat nav is built in in the new car, but we had a tom tom (700) before, which is fab.

ChasingRabbits · 16/04/2007 21:24

dh has the built in sat nav in his, ds1 always wants it switched on so he can watch the map.

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:29

I'll have you know I am a very classy bird

I knew it was bad news. He's f'ing and blinding away in the kitchen. He only had to put the hinges on and tighten the rest of them up! We'll end up arguing. Was it really worth asking him to finish it off????

Chloe55 · 16/04/2007 21:53

That's why I never let dh loose on the DIY

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:54

Ok so he is now using an empty wine bottle as a hammer, wtf????? I would laugh if it wasn't my husband!

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 21:56

It's ok, he's stopped using it. Now he's hammering with the screwdriver??? I'm going to bed before I start an arguement!

Chloe55 · 16/04/2007 21:57

Jesus! Get him away from the box before he does himself an injury!

Frizbe · 16/04/2007 21:59

PMSL at the boot box saga Macca, you'd better get up here and squish yourself into a case reckon there's a spot of room in case no 3.......20k baggage per person, so 3 cases

So if anyone wants to see a bronze whale, then head for tenerife, cause I brought a bronze bikini today for the amusement of all and I also treated myself to two new pairs of shoes, dh currently only thinks I have one shhhhhhhhh

Which reminds me I need to find the car parking ticket thing.......argh!!!

Flame, I have a stroppy 3 year old too, she's getting worse, not easier, I keep putting her back onto star charts/pasta jars with end of week treats for good behaviour, its starting to work.

Right gona go girls, have fun without me and thanks for the good holiday wishes, mum has some antibiotics, so hopefully they'll do the trick, as she was ok for a day, but dad called again earlier to say, she's on the loo again after a light tea fingers x'd for her eh.

Oh Ellenrose, for mooncup!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 21:59

You should definitely stop watching and go to bed (but leave him a dustpan and brush and a packet of plasters before you go ).

Might go up myself in a mo, and sudoku and watch tv in bed for a bit.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 22:00

Happy holidays Friz!

Chloe55 · 16/04/2007 22:01

Frizbe - have a fab time!

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 22:01

It's finished. It's taken him an hour. It took me 30 mins to unpack it and put it together! In fairness to him, he has to take it apart again because I'd done it wrong {hmm] and he needed help putting it abck together again . But, it's done and I now have a huge box outside my door

Anyone want some DIY doing?

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 22:02

Happy hols Friz. Alas I am more than 20k otherwis I'd be up there like a shot

Why is my front door open?

Jelley · 16/04/2007 22:05

My home town is on your map cr (Or it would be if it wasn't really a village.)

I'd use a cardboard box for the boots. Classy, me.

lol at the wie bottle hammer.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 22:07

Oh yes, just looked at the map - I'm only a 5 min drive off it!

2boysmacca · 16/04/2007 22:08

I have been using a paper bag but it gets a bit soggy! This one sits outside and causes husband and wives to contemplate divorce

welly box

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2007 22:12

All that effort and it only holds 2 pairs .
