Happy birthday to all the April babies!

Trinity - dd was 2004, this was no. 3,4,5.

They are all just under 4 pounds so really good weights for that age, same as a singleton born at same age apparently.

dd had a great birthday which I was able to go to. She had a 'gym' party where she does gymnastics we had the whole place to ourselves for an hour with planned activities and then food/cake.

She got a baby annabelle from us so she has her own baby for when the girls come home. We don't have them here so I had to order and ship it from UK . I wanted a doll that 'turned off' and it was the only one I could find that had that ability.

Happy Birthday to those turning 4!!!!

only just spotted this thread with new postings - congratulations Chuffed! that's wonderful.

Gorgeous photos Yorkiegirl.

dd3 has 2 weeks til her birthday and I haven't a clue what to get her. We are bursting with toys suitable for her already. But we are having a big party which is what she really wants.

Congrats Chuffed - bet you're feeling a bit lighter now!
ds didn't get tto much for his birthday - just Power Rangers and Scooby Doo stuff. I cannot believe how much stuff he has in his bedroom!

hewlettsdaughter · 17/04/2008 14:07

DD's birthday is tomorrow (she is having a small party on Sunday). DH and I spent last night putting together the Playmobil ambulance which her grandad has bought for her - we thought it would be too fiddly for her to do in the morning.

Hope all is going well with the triplets Chuffed. It's good that you got to DD1's party

Chuffed · 23/04/2008 04:44

We are doing well. The girls came home yesterday so we had our first night on our own last night and my first day at home today with 5 - interesting but do-able which is good.
I have posted some photos of the girls in my profile if you want a peek.

Chuffed · 23/04/2008 04:45

YG - I hope your dd is feeling a bit better and the bruises have gone.

MrsDoolittle · 24/04/2008 15:28

Must be the birthady season bringing us all on here Isn't it funny coming back to this clunky old forum where you have to type your smilies??

Huge congratulations to you Chuffed!! Now you have 5 children! RESPECT.

DD was 4 on the 10th, such a big girl now, I can't believe it. We had a big party with a magician which was a huge success.
DS is now 2 but seems to be coming along faster than his bigger sister. I can't believe how different he is - much less ernest, fearless and very very cute.

here they are

MrsDoolittle · 24/04/2008 15:32

I love your pictures chuffed!!

Chuffed · 27/04/2008 04:32

Great photo MrsD. Are you planning a trip to NZ at any time soon?

LucyJones · 29/04/2008 20:48

aw, love all the photos!!
We had to put togther ds' playmobil the night before too (pirate ship from us) and aeroplane from grandparents

the only trouble is keeping the small bits away from 20 month dd who has been found with pirate goblets in her mouth

LucyJones · 12/08/2008 20:17

Is everyone ready for school?!!

Chuffed · 23/08/2008 23:40

We don't start until April 09 thank goodness. dd is having so much fun at playcentre and learning so much I don't really want her to get all serious in formal education yet.

hewlettsdaughter · 26/08/2008 20:59

My dd starts 15 Sep (slightly later than most of the kids at the school as they have been building a new classroom for the foundation stage).

Chuffed - how are the triplets doing now?

dd3 starts in January, full days from the start. Her pre-school is in the school grounds though and she goes there 4 school length days a week so it's not likely to be an enormous upheaval for her.

I think she's ready for school, socially at least, but she has been in nursery since she was tiny and she's very easygoing.

Chuffed · 03/09/2008 10:24

Triplets are good. Can't believe they are 5mths old already.
We got super lucky they have been sleeping through since beginning of June and are really good there are only a few times that we have 'moments' so to speak with the 5 children.

hewlettsdaughter · 07/09/2008 20:02

Glad all is going well Chuffed - I found it qute hard when my two were babies and can't imagine having three at once... sounds like you're coping ok though.

Good luck to your dd2 tomorrow, YG! My dd is going straight into full-time too.

Chuffed · 19/12/2008 05:29

Merry Christmas everyone! I can't believe they are all coming up 5. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I found mumsnet and you all while we were expecting.

Hope you are all well. We are crusing along, children are all at MIL's tonight, dh and I are out for a night on the town.

lunavix · 25/01/2009 21:36

Still choking over chuffeds 5los lol

How is everyone?

It should be a 'can they really be FIVE already?!' now!

MrsD - how is it going? Can't believe we have never met, do you still live so close to me?

LucyJones · 27/01/2009 22:05

so glad you have happy sleeping babies Chuffed
ds well into school now
we've booked a soft play place for his b/day , only today when I told him which one he said he'd prefer another one that his friend had his at
it's his 1st ever party so I foolishly thought he'd be grateful!!!

hewlettsdaughter · 29/01/2009 19:48

Kids, eh ;)

My dd is enjoying school too - she still gets tired though (started in Sep). Have just noticed that your dd was due to start this Jan, Fennel - hope all is going ok.

hewlettsdaughter · 29/01/2009 19:51

I shall start a new thread so that we can continue to wibble on occasionally, should we want to.

Northernlurker · 29/01/2009 19:52

Ladies you really do need a new thread - your babies are nearly FIVE
