Gingeme · 16/03/2007 09:34

AW Justers your montage was the first thing I loked at this morning and has realy made me smile. I dont know why people say all babys look the same because looking at all our beautiful lot nothing could be further from the truth. Id be careful of that devil dog youve got there though
Sorry to be a pain but please let me know if my montage works some one?

Justers · 16/03/2007 09:42

Hi gingeme. Your montage works as I looked at it last night I loved the picture of you two sons lying side by side - soo cute!
I know my dog looks a bit evil in the picture with his red eyes! He has been really good with lo although I'm still a bit wary. Got to stay in today and wait for dh mobile phone, hope it comes soon as I hate being couped up in house. Our flat is definately sold now, yippee! However we are still waiting for documents being sent to conclude the sale of the house we're buying so hopefully that won't fall through or we'll be homeless!!

Gingeme · 16/03/2007 10:24

I know what you mean about being wary. We have a cat who trys to get in the cot with lo. I told dh if I ever caught him in there Id get rid of him. I know that sounds harsh but he's just a furry pain in the bum realy. Its fur EVERYWHERE and it realy winds ne up.
Wish you loads of luck with the house. Couldnt think of anything more stressfull.
Are bottle feeding? Does your lo mess about when feeding? Edward tries to pull the bottle out of his mouth all the time then gets the hump because hes not getting food quick enough. Tried him with some lunch yesterday as well as his breakfast. He had Cow&Gate chicken and veg. He wolfed it down
Were going to the woods today. It has a brill park the other side of the woods so if ds3 has enough energy hell be going on the swings too. dh finnishes about midday today so weve got the afternoon free.
Anyone doing anything for Red Nose Day? I havn't even got a red nose which isnt like me. Well have a good day.
Oh and thanks for checking that for me. x

BENDYB · 16/03/2007 12:33

oh good luck with the house & everything aswell! x

pmoore · 16/03/2007 16:21

We all have beautiful and handsome children.

marthahm- hope you are ok? not posted for a while.

We're not doing anything for Red Nose Day, we were going to the pub tonight but money is getting tighter and tighter with DP not earning.
Quite worrying really but MIL keeps buying LO's milk every week. Very nice and it all helps.

Trying to sell things on ebay- nearly sold all my baby clothes but, I may need them so it'll cost even more if I sell them. If I had a boy I'd ave to dress him in pink. Well it is the modern day!

Swizzler · 17/03/2007 21:36

Finally got round to doing a slide show - no music though . Hope it works: here

Swizzler · 17/03/2007 21:43

Love your montages Gingeme and Justers

Pmoore: money a bit tight here now I'm on maternity pay and not much else coming in - at least it's sunny (for the time being) and walking is free! Having to watch my coffee habit though

Hope everyone has a fabolous Mother's day - time to reflect on what a great job we're doing

pmoore · 18/03/2007 06:35

Swizzler, William is lovely, just about Samantha's size!
And what have you done to the weather!?! That lovely walking weather turned into gale force winds and hail this morning!

Where is everyone? Hope all are having really enjoyable weekends and that's why there is no time for mumsnet!

I went to Bluewater yesterday- my SIL gets 25% working in Next so I bought LO some summer clothes for our Cyprus holidays in June-courtesy of mum! Its my mum and dads villa so only cost the flights! Away for my 30th birthday!

Happy Mothers Day.

Gingeme · 18/03/2007 18:49

swizzler lovely smiley baby. Love the pic of him all in blue. Realy shows his beautiful blue eyes
Ive had a fab day today. I went to church this morning Im not a churchy person at all but one of my friends is and invited me and the boys for the Mothering Sunday service. I realy enjoyed it. My Mum came with us. Lo didnt like the singing at all though. He cried every time
Went to the cemetary after to my Nnas grave. Bought a lovely mini rose bush to plant there. Came home to a yummy Sunday roast curtisy of Dh.My bigger boys sent me a lovely home made card and a I love Mum key ring and tea towel.
Hope you all had a good Mothers day too xxx

Rumpel · 19/03/2007 09:40

Morning All,

Hope you all had a great Mother's day - clever A made me a card, with photos of her, on the computer! A prodigy

All the montages are lovely - nice to put faces to the names.

I spent all day suffering with a hangover, as I sat up drinking red wine Sat night. Not touching wine now until we go to Crieff Hydro at the end of the month. My weight has been stuck for a while, back is much better though so started my sit ups again and will do my free weights today.
Pmoore and Gingeme - how is your weight loss going?

Just finished reading Jules Olivers' book on pg. Was a nice wee easy read - lovely photos of their girls in it - don't know that I would want all the world seeing some of them though

Need to go and try to study now - lots of prep to do before Uni again this week

By the way - beautiful sunny day in my part of Scotland today - weird.

we have snow again here!

Swizzler my little one seemed to like your slide show of W. I did too - he's v. cute Finally got to see yors too ginge, so sweet.

my lo joined the library last week as dd picked out a load of baby books for him! Is nice too as she 'reads' them to him. Best thing i ever did with dd as I used to get so bored with the same books all the time, this way they go back after 3 weeks (particularly good with noisy books).

Bubblemummy · 19/03/2007 13:07

Hi everyone, can I join your thread? I have just moved to London from Perth, Western Australia with my DH and DS (Sebastian - 5 months old) and would love some people to talk to!

Rumpel · 19/03/2007 13:10

Welcome Bubblemummy - ladies will prob be on later this eve'. I need to go off and study so catch up with you all later.

Gingeme · 19/03/2007 14:10

WElcome Bubblemummy. How are you? Is Sebastion your first baby? Hope your move went smoothly. Is this your first time to the UK?
Lo has found new way of moving around, rolling! He rolls and rolls and rolls. Found him asleep on his front this morning because he'd rolled over.
Hes alot more vocal now, when he can get a word in over ds3 that is,almost shouts.
Hes having breakfast and a bit of lunch now too. Just had some bolognese which he wasnt too sure if he liked or not. Will try him again with it tomorrow.
Good luck with the studying Justers.
Hope evryone else is ok and keeping warm out of the wind.

Gingeme · 19/03/2007 14:40

Ooh ooh just felt a tooth at the bottom of lo's mouth about time too ....

BENDYB · 19/03/2007 15:22

hi all, hope everyones ok.

not had a v good weekend, my brother is really ill in hospital, he had a brain aneurysm(sp?)
he just suddenly started being really sick & saying his neck & back hurt, they thought it was meningitis to start with, then he became all confused, they done a brain scan & he had had a bleed on the brain. he was really bad on sat night, they nearly had to be put into a coma, but luckily he seems a bit better now, he is awake & can talk a bit, but they've said even if he recovers he will prob have to stay in hospital for months
im so worried bout him.

anyway, trying to stay positive so wont go on bout it anymore!

Hope every1 had a good mothers day?
I got a lovely card from kai & a lil cake & a teddy. was so cute!

welcome bubblemummy!

lovely pics swizzler!

Gingeme · 19/03/2007 15:29

Oh bendyb hope all is ok with your brother. xx

pmoore · 19/03/2007 15:34

Welcome Bubblemummy- we are a friendly bunch.

Rumpel- I have now lost 25lb from Jan 3rd but this week I don't really know whats happened. I am like a woman thats never had chocolate before and I can't curb it! Perhaps my hormones before AF are now makin me need it! Needless to say I am not doing very well.

Off to cornwall next week, not looking forward to the drive as DP does't drive so its all down to me.

LO still not rolling over guess its still nothing to worry about- HV had raised eyebrows whe I said she wasn't evn rolling.

pmoore · 19/03/2007 15:36

x posts bendyb- hope your bro is getting stronger every minute and makes a good recovery.

Swizzler · 19/03/2007 19:21

BendyB: hope your brother recovers quickly. Thinking of you xx

Welcome Bubblemummy

Had a nice day yesterday, slight blip to being with as DH hadn;t got the whole be nice to me and bring me breakfast thing (he slept in while I got DS up) but then made a lovely lunch .

SNOW here!

BENDYB · 19/03/2007 19:34

thanks every1,

Kai has been rolling over loads 2day, & he is trying so hard to crawl, he can pull himself forward a little bit, he looks so funny, he sticks his bum right up in the air! & pulls himself forward with his hands! bless him! so cute!

Swizzler · 19/03/2007 19:49

Think I must have the only non-rolling and non-crawling baby - W just lies on his front and grabs the floor with his hands while waving his legs in the air! He's not going to get very far at that rate

youngmum21 · 19/03/2007 20:21
