Oh no, poor hallie well done for going in. I'm pleased they send you to the ward to get properly checked too, helps reassure you. But That's how Graces started so just keep an eye on her and go back if you're worried or things change. How is she now? Lots of cuddles needed I'm sure! They've told me to do ibuprofen and calpol alternately so maybe do that if you think she's still in pain. Sending you a hug and a biscuit as you'll need the sugar I'm sure. Xx

tams13 · 31/10/2016 10:11

sunday good work on the weight loss. Sounds like it was well supported by E too. Has he moved up to the pushchair seat now? How many people are still using the carrycot part of the pram? We still are but M is getting too long for it now. I don't feel like she's ready to move up yet but will have to try it out in the house this week. Clock change has coincided with some more disturbed sleep anyway but M was up just over an hour earlier than usual.

indians poor Hallie. I hope she picks up soon. It's horrible when they aren't well. At least you've got a better idea of what it is after going to the hospital. About the sleeping, I think it's luck of the draw. Dd is ff but doesn't sleep through the night (she's done it three times). A friend has a bf baby who has slept 7-7 since eight weeks old. When dd has slept through we haven't done anything different to other nights either so I think it's just dependent on how they feel.

anna I'm so glad Grace and dd1 are on the mend. Hopefully they'll be back to normal soon. Fantastic sleep from Grace too! I can't believe it's nearly November! I've bought a few bits for dd but trying not to go ott. I'm pinching ideas from here and planning to get weaning stuff and a high chair too. I need to get a move on because there's three birthdays between now and the end of December to think about. Pate and prosecco sounds amazing! I've got a feeling I'll be designated driver though so pate and cheese for me.

primarynoodle · 31/10/2016 15:44

anna'omg poor grace and poor you! Glad she's doing better now, scary stuff :( we are doing cxmas just me, dp and Annie, bliss!

indians agree with bluebell - as long as you aren't letting her campaign for stuff that you aren't comfortable with, or that you think might embarrass her in years to come, I can't see a problem :). May end up picking your brains re:Rome and what's worth seeing etc! Only problem may be if we leave the EU before then and new laws about getting married abroad come in.

julf fab news about dh:) it makes such a difference when you don't feel like sole parent anymore, mine is slowwwwly stepping up.
We had previously decided about going to Italy for honeymoon as it just seems like a nice place! No real reason really, so it made sense to combine that with the wedding. We've no idea where though - somewhere pretty and hot, any suggestions?
I ache all over and I'm a mere whippersnapper of 23! We're getting the ergo sling for xmas off my parents so hoping my back starts getting better then!

sunday was going to be summer 2017 but as it's now going to cost us a bit more (and our parents) we've pushed it back to summer 2018! Congrats on the weight loss :)

tams we moved Annie to the pram part this week. Not gonna lie I cried a bit! She seems to love it though! We do lie flat when travelling then sit it up a little if we go for a coffee or something. She has a shark footmuff that makes me giggle so I've got over my sadness now lol

Happy Halloween everyone - anyone got any plans? I've carved a bat pumpkin and have a little bowl of sweets for any trick or treaters we might get Halloween Grin

Oh my goodness those outfits!!! They are just adorable! And look gorgeous miss Indians!

Re moving to pram seat I can't face it just yet. Feels like a big step for some reason!

So big day here Grace is rolling over and now trying to go front to back... she's also really trying to sit now as you can see!

Three months tomorrow!

Wow anna. That's amazing! Dd (14 weeks) isn't interested in rolling at all - she won't even go to her side. She has, however, moved to her pram seat today. She had grown too long for the carrycot. It's made me a bit sad. I didn't think it would be this soon.

beckslovestimmy · 02/11/2016 08:37

Ben's new trick is blowing bubbles, lots of spitty bubbles!! I was listening to him doing it in his cot this morning, got him up and his face was covered with spit! Yuk!!

Ben's been in the pram bit for quite a while now as it fits better with the buggy board, when he's awake he like to be sat up abit watching the world go by.

tams13 · 02/11/2016 13:11

I hear you on the spitty bubbles becks. They're delightful aren't they?

First walk with the pram part was a success. Dd is asleep in there now. She seems happy with it. It was lovely to be able to see her better too.

sundaysunday · 02/11/2016 15:23

tams we've been using the pram part for ages as we've had to sit him up slightly most of the time due to reflux. I'm a little worried in case it has affected his spine development because he has also always been raised up in his bouncer too. I assume this is why they recommend babies are flat for the first 3 months? On the other hand he has great head and upper body control and is well on the way to sitting unaided.

Anna impressive rolling from grace! And great that she slept 8-4. Hope it won't be long before she sleeps through for you.

Cute outfits Indians although mummy is letting the side down by not dressing up! Did they get a good stash?

Another very drooly baby here too becks!

The lurgy has hit the Sunday household Sad DH and myself full of cold so it won't be long until the little one gets it too. I feel like shit, DH has gone to work as usual kind of him to share his germs round so I'm having to manage alone. And I've run out of chocolate Sad

AnnaT45 · 03/11/2016 02:39

Thanks sunday 8-4 was a one off. She's been feeding loads again so not been getting much sleep!
How are you all feeling? Running out of chocolate is not on. I hope you got it sorted? We've got loads left from Halloween. I keep picking it at it which isn't good!

tams, indians can't believe she's rolling already. Think she's desperate to be like her big sister!

I'll be glad when this antibiotic course is over. Grace is having explosive poo like she's a newborn again. Been going through a lot of clothes!!!

primarynoodle · 03/11/2016 10:03

anna I was going to post that too! Is anyone else's baby suddenly pooing for England?? It's bizarre!

socktastic · 03/11/2016 17:42

Hello All,

Sorry I seem to have slipped off the thread recently but thought I'd pop on to say hi!

Adam has turned into grumpy grumperson today. I'm wondering if he's teething although I don't see any buds. He's drooling for Scotland, has rosy cheeks and everything is going in his mouth - although he's still sucking rather than gnawing.

Also he still hasn't had a poo yet today so he's not a happy wee guy because of that too.

Hope everyone is good and the babies continue to be happy, healthy and growing well

Xx

We pic of Adam in his teddy gear!

Hello all! Sorry for silence. So lovely to hear news. Grace turning already?! Wow! And Indians love Hallie and her bro's costumes, particularly impressive taming her mane under the costume!

All good here tho juggling two is bloody hard. Beautician if you're still around I take my hat off!

Ted was also hospitalised with pneumonia & viral wheeze earlier in oct. Three nights inthe ward aftr a horrible day In a&e. Claudia then got bronchiolitis and OH and I got Moro literally within days of each other so it's been quite literally shit for a while.

Totally agree with Anna. Get it checked out esp if it goes on for a long time. We went to GP fourtimes before nebuliser and hospital.

On a happier note, Spice rack still making me smile and I'm feeding my Christmas cake brandy every fortnight! It's the little things.

Bluebell how's the novel coming along?!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 04/11/2016 12:45

Hi all sorry for the silence. I hardly get time to go to the loo these days Grin. No things are settling down here now and I think I'm getting into the swing of things. Dh is now on week 11 of working away and hopefully only 2 more weeks to go.

Eliz four is hard work but the older two help. I find the three year age gap between Teddy and Monty hard. The 17 months between ds1 and ds2 was much easier.

Sock Adam looks adorable in his little outfit.

Sunday MB is in the pushchair part of his pram now and has been for about a week. He loves it and looks lovely and snuggly.

Anna wow well done Grace very advanced. MB is still very much a baby and not trying to roll or anything. He is a very smiley happy boy though which is lovely to see as Ted was a bit of a grump.

Indians love the children's Halloween dress up. How do you look so good all the time? Great photos.

I joined weight watchers online after the birth. I lost weight but found it hard to stick to alone so last week I joined a class. I lost 3 lbs on Wednesday. Hoping to lose near a stone for Christmas. Doing loads of walking with the pushchair.

Anyone else losing loads of hair? My hair is all over the house. It's coming out in handfuls. I will have none left at this rate.

sundaysunday · 04/11/2016 14:20

Yep hair loss has started for me too beaut I'm surprised because I never got that glossy thick pregnancy hair thingy that everyone goes on about lucky them so I wasn't expecting to get the hair loss after either. Bloody hormones have a lot to answer for. Seriously admire you coping alone while DH is away all that time and I hope the excellent weight loss continues.

Sock I didn't think teething started this early but E has exactly the same signs as Adam.

A rough month Elliz, you'll be glad to see the back of October!

Arrrgh forgotten to do my weigh in again! Must remember tomorrow morning.

MrsRolly · 04/11/2016 20:33

Anna Grace looks beaut in that picture, Bless you all wee ones get poorly so quickly but then normally bounce back. Rushing into Peads with my DD when she was nearly 7 months is still up there with one of the most terrifying parent experiences to date. Well done for being so calm.

Julf, I loved your message RE DH so ace after your trickier start must feel amazing!

I am loosing so much hair like you Sunday I am pretty sure I never got the pregnancy gloss. Fingers crossed I am not bald by christmas!

We have some rolling from front to back but think we are way off back to front which I am quite pleased about ;) I am going to miss being able to plonk him down and do a wee

We have so many spitty bubbles it is pretty gross!

Hooray for it being Friday. I love weekends.

sock defo sounds like teething! I hope it's ok if it is! Adam is a cutie!

eliz my goodness! You poor things! Are you all ok now? Poor Ted! How scary for you. I have bought some ikea spice racks to do some 'hacks' with. I'll post a pic below for you! Just got to find time to get them up! Oh wow well done on Xmas cake!

beaut so nice to hear from you! Gosh you're a bloody trooper! Four kids and husband away? Amazing. I wish Grace wasn't moving so much Angry I want her to stay my little baby.
Well done on the weight loss! I'm trying to lose 10 pounds before Xmas but seem to be only shifting a pound a week, so running out of weeks! I think walking loads really helps. Although DD1 wants to walk half the time and she's not speedy enough for my liking! Poor kid, she's only one Grin

rolly its so scary. Bless them. It's this time of year when everything is rife!

indians that's sooooo exciting! I think you should go for it. It's good money and fun. If you don't feel comfortable at any point then you can walk away.

We went to my DMIL last night. She lives right on the playing field where they had the fireworks. DD1 thought it was marvellous watching the fireworks from the window. She just kept saying 'again' she ended up having a late night though and hasn't slept well!

Grace is still feeding loads. I'm really tired and she only cat naps in the day so a rest then is impossible. Going to try get a nap in today with DH around. I'm thinking of maybe trying to get her to take a bottle of formula again to see if that helps. I had to stop last time and it gave her awful wind and consultation. But I've read HIPP milk is good so may try that. Not managed to have a break from her yet and feel I could just do with a couple of hours on my own for my sanity!

I've lost count of weeks Blush she was three months this week though! Here she is enjoying the bumbo

beckslovestimmy · 05/11/2016 07:29

Anna she looks so cute in the bumbo. Ben enjoys it for a little while. Now he's rolling he mainly likes to be on his front though.

Indians the 'job' sounds great. You've got Hallie earning her keep already!

Well done beaut, it's hard enough dealing with 2 on my own, your a star managing 4. Hope your DH is home soon.

Sunday/rolly, I'm losing hair here too, I had it cut in the end to try and limit it. Luckily I've got loads of thick hair, I recon I could lose half of it and wouldn't notice. It's bloody everywhere though. Having to hoover every day!!

Oh anna Grace looks so gorgeous in her bumbo! And such a clever girlie too. So impressive for 3 months. So glad they're on the mend. I feel like everyone has been poorly recently
Wow indians is this Hallie's big break?! Loving the Halloween outfits!

beaut I've been the same, no time for anything. I've never washed my hair so little in my life. Talking of which, I'm sure I'm losing it now too. Mostly being pulled out by the little person tho! Well done on the weight loss. Things have plateaued here. I don't know how you're coping while hubby is away. I find it hard even with mine working lots.

sock Adam is looking gorge as a little bear! So snuggly.

elliz really hope everyone is ok, what a horrible month you've had. You must be so happy it's November.

Are people enjoying the fireworks tonight? We are having an indoor BBQ and fireworks. So chilly all of a sudden?! George was 4 months yesterday- where has the time gone!?
